Best Christian non fiction book I've ever read. If you're like me and you are anti social and your ministry is scattered seed in the weeds most of the time ( parable of the shower...seeds = the business of the world ) you tend to question your faith because your are not the new creature that The Word says you become when saved. This book shows you there is actually (2) salvations taught in scriptures: The main one we don't see because our spirit is saved by faith and we become one with Jesus and The Heavenly Father gifts us with The Holy Spirit. The second one is the salvation of our souls as we walk with Jesus. By faith we pick up the cross everyday and we attack and take captive our flesh that in our subconscious builds stronghold (habits) that are represented by the stone covering Jesus grave. As we roll away each stone our souls are refreshed and we look and a little more like Jesus each time. Totally awesome book that will renew your fath.

MY WIFE FOUND THIS BOOK LOOKING FOR SOMETHING HER MOTHER COULD READ IN LARGE PRINT. I HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS PASTOR BEFORE OR READ ANY OF HIS BOOKS. IT TOOK ME BY SURPRISE IN A GOOD WAY. I STARTED THE BOOK AND THEN WENT BACK TO THE BEGINNING AGAIN, GOT OUT MY BIBLE AND STARTED MAKING NOTES OF HIS KEY THOUGHTS AND ANALYSIS OF CERTAIN WORDS AND VERSES. HIS DISCUSSION OF THE SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY IS VERY ENLIGHTENING AND CAN POTENTIALLY LIFT THE VEIL OFF OF THE MYSTERY OF BEING BORN AGAIN AND THEN LIVING A SPIRTUAL AND POWERFUL CHRISTIAN LIFE.

This guy seemed to want to make jokes of what he was saying, e.g., "nope" for no and funny little asides. I don't think he is on track theologically with many of his ideas. This book was not particularly helpful to me.

Dutch Sheet gives a good synopsis of the human condition (fallen), and the most of the path back to redemption and sanctification. I didn't like the excessive use of Greek words. I felt some of what was discuss was over simplified.
