The Lost Alphas: A Reverse Harem Shifter Academy Romance

Rate this book
I came to Havenfall Academy to help my brother start a new life.

Instead, I freed three alpha wolves who were never supposed to be found.

For six years, the headmaster of Irongate controlled me by paying for my brother’s care. Now Maddox is dead, Eli is safe at Havenfall, and I’m finally free to build a life of my own.

There’s just one problem.

I have absolutely no idea what I want that life to look like.

Then Eli tells me he can feel someone moving beneath the academy.

I open a door that was supposed to stay sealed and find three dangerously powerful men trapped in magical restraints. Their names have been erased. Their families have disappeared. According to every official record, they’ve been dead for years.

They look very much alive to me.

Especially when all three of their wolves recognize my snow leopard.

Mate.

As if one powerful alpha wouldn’t be complicated enough, fate gives me

Dean - The dominant alpha whose voice can bring a courtyard of wolves to their knees. He doesn’t need a title to lead, and he never needs to raise his voice.

Finn - The golden-eyed alpha who smiles through pain and makes me feel safe enough to want more. But threaten his mate or his pack, and all that warmth turns lethal.

Cole - The coldest and most ruthless of the three. The Registry taught him to kneel. Now he forces their wolves down at his feet.

Sharing a mate should make three alphas turn on each other.

Instead, they agree on one thing.

None of them is giving me up.

Which would be distracting enough without the Registry arriving at Havenfall with an order to take them away.

Because my alphas weren’t random prisoners. They’re the missing heirs to the founding bloodlines that once held power over every regional pack.

Someone erased them for a reason.

Now we have seventy-two hours before the Registry comes to take them by force.

They buried the lost alphas once.

This time, they’re awake.

robotic feeling

The book has potential it was just hard to get into it since everything felt to stiff and robotic feeling. Didn’t hold much emotion that you expect when people interact. I didn’t finish and only made it 40% before I couldn’t take it anymore. So many questions and things that were glossed over. In the 40% I read I didn’t learn how many years they were trapped just said many years multiple times.

I wanted to like this

I really wanted to love this book. Fated mates and shifters is one of my favorite tropes, so I went in excited. Unfortunately, the writing let it down. It felt clinical, almost medical, with sentence after sentence reading like a plain statement of fact. I never felt any romance or emotional connection between the characters, and the story leaned so heavily on statements that it didn't read like a romance at all. I couldn't get invested emotionally, and in the end I couldn't finish it. It's disappointing, because I think the story and characters have real potential. The prose just didn't bring them to life.

Missing Heirs

Interesting story about missing wolf heirs hidden in a secret room under Havenfall Academy and what happens after they are found.

It’s all a big mystery at the moment as to why the Registry are trying to erase them and with multiple characters missing memories I am intrigued to see where this goes

The book needed to have honest beta readers or just to have honest people reading over it to give feedback. It could have had potential but there is 0 emotion. Everyone comes off as robotic. Everyone sounds the same. And there is very little in the way of world building and introductions. You are just thrown into the story with a lot of characters who all sound the same all at once.

Its ok

This story is interesting. I ferl like there is just so much we dont know right now, owen and jude, cole, finn and dean and lira. Its hard to know what ia going on, and really hard yo follow. There honestly wasnt much plot in this one at all. Hoping book 2 is better

Lost memories

What an unbelievable story, I enjoyed the twist and turns. I was on edge to see how the bonds came alive differently and we still have one more to go!
