Hmm, this story had potential but had some cons that really held it back for me. I liked the set up about the girl hiding her identity to help her friend and ending up getting married to the hero in the friends place. So a cute meet but the hero's actions were wonkily odd. I realize this is a spanking book but WTF? She bites him so he's going to spank her. But then he tells her that she isn't getting a spanking for biting him but for not asking him first if she could bite him. Huh? This is basically they're first interaction. Why would she ask him if she could bite him? How would she know she's supposed to? Why didn't he just spank her for the biting? That would have made sense and kept him from seeming like a mad man. All his spankings were just as oddly arbitrary. And then there was the whole she's a virgin but she's all up for her first experiences to be totally OTT kinky. I don't think so. I'd think you'd have to work up to that.

I am always happy to read a new author and if I love the book it's even better! This book had me hooked from page one and I read it straight through. It offers an interesting plot concept that is well written then add a steamy romance, that begins in a very different way, and it made for a fantastic read. I am looking forward to another release by this author. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

It was good

It was a good read. Well written without typos. Lots of spankings involved, punishments , domination for sure and of course a love story ending.
