I'm starting to really enjoy angel stories, so long as they are harp playing ones that is. The fallen angels in this story are as far from harps as you can get. The fallen are now demons and now they are working toward redemption. Sounds like a typical, fallen angel story right? Well let me tell you something, Chronicles of the Fallen series is anything but typical. Actions, suspense, romance, sex and humor is what you're in-store for in this series. This current book, Temptation, is my favorite so far. Gideon and Maggie, demon with nothing left to lose and a Halfling who will prove him wrong.

Gideon, you are all hotness and charm but you certainly have met your match in Maggie. I adored Gideon in previous books but now he's my series darlin’. Maggie's Halfling status is an interesting one and I had no idea how she was going to fit into the whole Good vs Evil battle. Then there is the whole curse of Gideon, can't be touch/can't touch thing going on that I was waiting to unfold. And once he realized he CAN touch Maggie, YOWZA BABY! The man had 200 years to make up for. Then wham...ah the G vs E is answered. Pretty sneaky sis...I didn't see that coming. That's how you know you have a good story. Instead of second-guessing where everything is going, you can chillax and let the story unfold. This is exactly what I did until the wee hours of the morning.

I love all the characters in this series. The revisit of former characters in a series is always a big bonus for me. However, there's one I'm really starting to get very curious about. That would be Asher. What is his story? All those favors he's collecting, I can't being to speculate what he's up to. I am hoping he gets his own book to explain it all because the suspense is killing me!

So far each book in the series has the ability to work out well as a stand-alone however, since these books are all pretty awesome, I suggest reading them all. I am quickly becoming a fan of Brenda Huber's PNR stories. Her ability to infuse romance, action and humor is what I thrive on and her mixture of all three will certainly keep me coming back for more. Reading Chronicles of the Fallen series is a must for any PNR fan.
