Surrender is book one of The Greek Affair series. Journey to the Greek Islands. Journey to Love.
Diana’s romance novels come from her own sense of belonging to two cultures. Greek and Australian.
These days she lives in Melbourne the majority of the year and spends at least three months of each year in Greece, she has travelled extensively outside of Greece and Australia.
Diana studied art and was a visual artist as a painter for many years, this has influenced the way she sees the places that her characters are placed in. The islands and the cities often become secondary characters in her stories.
Diana’s leading characters can often have a Greek background but not always. Diana takes her readers on journeys of the Greek Islands, Athens, Melbourne and other parts of the world that she herself has travelled to. Her intention is that the reader will love these places almost as much as Diana does.
When Diana’s story is in a Greek environment she tries to take her readers on a historical and mythological journey and in her first book SURRENDER she entwines the local culinary culture together with the local customs. This book which is Book 1 of a series of 2 books, is set on an unnamed Greek island, she describes the topography, talks about its history, delves into its myths and legends and allows her readers to try and discover for themselves on what island this impossible love story is set on.
Book 2 SURRENDERED in this series we find the story unfolding in Melbourne Australia.
