I had some trouble with the first book in this series but the blurb for this book seemed really interesting and I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did!
Amara comes to her sisters club to seek help in catching the ones responsible for her capture and torture. When she arrives she is instantly taken by Oliver a.k.a "Pretty Boy" and senses that they have a deep connection. She didn't come to meet her mate though, and has a hidden agenda that she can't let Oliver screw up.
Amara was a great character and I loved how tough she was. One of the best things about this series is that the MC doesn't look at females like they're weak. I thought it was great that Amara was able to be the Sergeant at Arms and that Oliver let her fight her own battles.
This was an action packed story that grabbed my attention and wouldn't let it go. I did have some problems with the writing, like I did with the first one, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the book. Even with all the action we still got to see Oliver win over his mate and he was really adorable. They made a really cute couple and I was cheering them on the whole time. Overall, this was a good story with lots of romance and action that will suck you in.

Just when I thought I wouldn't love an of the Inked Menace boys more than Lucky, Hawk makes me turn my affections over to Oliver. I adored his character and the connection that he had with Amara. Lord, will her story break your heart. I felt her pain at the hands of the vile scientists who used her as a human/shifter lab rat. Despite Amara's PTSD, Oliver...dear sweet Oliver wooed her to the point that she could not resist the mating pull between them. Beyond the many smexy times in this story, Hawk brings the heat with an intensely dramatic storyline as well. This one will make you bite your nails and cheer for the good guys! I love the little teaser that we got about Flip at the end and I cannot wait to read his story. Each one of these books just keeps getting better and better!

Although Oliver can be read as a standalone book, I recommend reading Lucky first since it provides background about the Inked Menace MC and the supporting characters. I fell in love with all the characters while reading Lucky and was excited about reading Oliver’s story.
The story of Oliver follows Anara Delco, a Snow Leopard, who travels from Britain to the US to enlist the help of Maura, her sister, who is mated to Hammer, the Alpha of Inked Menace MC. She wants their help to seek revenge against Dustan Octavius III, the scientist who held her captive and tortured her before she was able to escape. Anara suffers from both physical and mental scars from her ordeal. They are further complicated when she meets Oliver “Pretty Boy”, a Siberian Tiger, and she feels the “mating bond” towards him. Oliver knows immediately Anara is his mate and that she is keeping her distance and secrets from him. However, Oliver is determined to do whatever it takes to win her trust and accept him as her mate even so far as helping her seek vengeance. Is Anara too damaged to accept Olivers’ love? What secrets is Anara hiding? Will Oliver break through Anara’s defenses? Will they be able to hunt down the ones responsible?
I will not say more about the book. You will have to read the book to find out! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Once I started reading, I was not able to put it down!! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Amara has travelled from Britain to seek out her sister's help and that of her MC. She has been captured and tortured by a group of people that she thinks may have known Cecilia's ex-husband. She does, however, come with a secret agenda but the question is, will she act on that or not?
Things get complicated when she feels the intense mating bond with Pretty-Boy, aka Oliver. I loved this couple when they were together and apart. The chemistry between the two was hot, especially a certain scene on the train! However, for me, it lacked a certain 'something'. I've sat on this review for a couple of days trying to figure out what it was and I still have no idea. It was incredibly well-written in Ryanne Hawk's brilliant style. The plot line was good and had no holes. The characters were charming or horrible as the case may be... but still, hmm. I think it may be as simple as I fell in love with them all in Lucky and that will always be my favourite. I guess I'll have to read the third book in the series, just to be sure 😉

Amara is a broken women. She was captured, tested on and operated on. She has not lived a fully glamourous life. She needs help so she goes to the one place she knows she can get help. Oliver is a tough guy in a MC club not interested in settling down. That is, until Amara enters into his life. What will happen when they are left to figure things out for their life and the future? Will Oliver accept Amara and Amara accept Oliver as each other’s family.
Another action packed story by Ryanne Hawk. The action part of the story was suspenseful and intriguing. It left you sitting on the edge of your seat. It drew you in and left you wanting to know more. The detail that was written with the story line of this book was pretty good and didn’t leave you questioning or wondering. The scenes in which Oliver’s brothers were razzing him about his mating were hilarious to read and left you smiling. Those were so easy to picture and imagine.
The downfall to this book is that it seemed to be missing something. I wish there would have been more of a story to Oliver and Amara’s story and the build up to their mating. It seemed to be fairly quick and in a rush. I feel like them mating with one another is just as important as the action part of the story. This made me feel like the story was lacking. Also, I think there was more to the history of Amara and all that she went through then was in the book. It seems like that could have been written a little deeper.
I love the overall story line of the Inked Menace series. This one just seemed to be lacking a bit compared to the first story. I look forward to the third book and urge you to read the first and then the second so you can keep up with the story!

This is the 1st book I have read of Ryanne Hawk. I have to say I have enjoyed this book a great deal. Though I have not read the 1st book in the series, I can say I did not have any issues following along. I am one that loves shifters and MCs and I love how she mixed the two.
Amara is a snow leopard. She has went thru so much. She was captured and tortured by a scientist named Dustan Octavius the Third. This has done so much to her mentally. Amara was a Sergeant at Arms in an MC in Britain. She had worked hard to get to where she was at and was proud of the title she held.
Amara knew she was going to need help taking down the ones that tortured her so she decided to head to the US to ask help from the Inked Menace MC. She never expected to find the one she was to be mated to, but she knew when she laid eyes on Oliver that he was the one. Question is was she far to damage to except love?
Oliver is a handsome Tiger Shifter. He is the love them and leave them type. When he sees Amara he knows she is the one for him. No other woman will do. The hell she went thru makes his blood boil. He wants nothing more than to help her on her revenge. He truly has his work cut out for him. Will he be able to help her heal from the hurt and damage that has been done to her? What deep secrets lie beneath the surface. He knows she is hiding something. What could it be?

Amara is a snow leopard shifter that has had to be very tough to survive as Sergeant at Arms of her MC in England. She comes to the US to ask her sister and her sister's club for assistance with getting retribution for her imprisonment by a group of supposed scientists. Oliver is a tiger shifter in the club and they both know right after meeting that they are mates. It wasn't something either of them were expecting or wanting. Amara doesn't even know if she has what she needs to be a mate after the hell she has been through. Oliver has enjoyed short term liaisons.
Working with the club to get justice will be dangerous but so is pursuing a life together.
I liked how feisty Amara was even when she was feeling her lowest. She has great strength but knows when she needs help. Amara and her sister have a strong bond but it doesn't stop them from provoking one another whenever they get the chance. Amara has done things for her club President that she does not support but hasn't wanted to risk the position she worked so hard to get to challenge him or leave for another club. Oliver is the 2nd book in the action packed series The Inked Menace Motorcycle Club. I love series they're TV miniseries in a book. You get to know all the awesome characters, and the characters in this series are hot biker shifters.
Ryanne's talent dazzles you with vivid descriptions of each scene as she draws readers into the thrilling world of-The Inked Menace MC.

Amara is battling anxiety and PTSD from her kidnapping and torture that she endured. Going to Inked for help in her endeavor, she meets Oliver, her mate. From the first, you know that Amara is a force to be reckoned with, yet has so much to mend within herself....and Oliver is just the hottie to help her. Their banter and love dance was adorable, hilarious, and heartbreaking at times. Especially when reliving Amara's past.
With Oliver, Lucky, and the MC Club on her side, Amara strives to overcome her vulnerability, take back her life, and kick some ass along the way...all the while getting hooked and sinking with her Mate.
This was actually a first for me in this series to read. I was immediately drawn in and knew that I would love these characters. " Kitty strikes back "
Super amazing Shifter MC book!. The story line is exciting and the characters are marvelous!. Amara is an enforcer in a Shifter MC club in England her leader sent her to get some information on Inked Menace in America. Her half-sister is the president Hammer of inked menace's mate Maura she is also a lion shifter. When Amara gets to the clubs house she meets sexy Oliver aka pretty boy a sexy Tiger shifter. There seems to be an instant connection between the two. Amara also wants to tract down some leaders of a company called Lexcorp. Lexcorp had captured Armara and experimented on her and others they had captured. Armara had escaped killed most of the Scientists at the labs only the main leaders got away. Now she wants revenge!. After she tells her and her sisters club members about what happened to her and others like her plus regular animals in the labs the club offers to help her. They find out where one of Lexcorps main labs are so they set out to rescue the shifters and other animals there then they plan to destroy the lab and all the bad guys!. There is lots of amazing action,suspense, Humor and steamy hot Romance in this book! Which makes this a must read Series!.

Amara, Sergeant-at-Arms for her shifter MC in England (which happens to be a sister charter for the Inked Menace MC), is in the States to track down the "scientists" that held her captive while conducting experiments on her. She was also there on a secret mission from her MC President to gather info about the mate of one of the other Club members who'd had a $2 million bounty put on her by her ex-husband (see the first book in the series, Lucky).
Oliver, Pretty-Boy to his MC, is a tiger shifter and VP of the Inked Menace Motorcycle Club. He and Amara take one look at each other and...instant chemistry! Although neither is looking for more than a one, or two, night stand, it doesn't take long to realize what they are feeling is more permanent than just chemistry. But Amara must come to terms with her capture and find her torturers before she feels able to take that step forward to be someone's mate. Another wonderful and yummy member of Inked Menace MC gets his mate.
Amara comes to the US all the way from the UK Charter, she is here to seek vengeance on those that captured her and put her through hell a year ago. She is still fighting the demons wrought on her by their experimentations on her body. What she didn't expect was to come face to face with a very hot and sexy tiger the moment she walked into the club house. Can she have a relationship though, as broken as she is.
Oliver is a tiger shifter and very much the ladies man with his charm and good looks they don't call him Pretty Boy for nothing. He has never thought of getting a soul mate, he is very happy with his life the way it is, till that Brit walks in the door that is. Now he must convince her that his tiger wants to purr for her forever. Oliver has his job cut out for him though.
In between all of this, the club forms a plan to find these terrible scientists that tortured Amara and bring them down. Will they be successful in their hunt?
Lots of down and out action and a humungous Siberian tiger on the prowl for some panty melting passion.

While I like to read MC books, I don't like the ones that are made gritty, in your face, like the drugs, gun running, open sex (particularly with people I'm going to be reading an HEA about) etc. but bring on the tats, bikes, etc (I particularly don't like reading one of the main characters getting it on with others). I love it when the female main character is bad ass. I also love it when an author can bring a full, really good plotted story that can keep my attention, regardless of the page count. With the exception of one or two things about Oliver, I loved everything about this book. Amarynth is definitely one of my top favorite female characters. While a longer book could've stretched out the mental anguish she was going through, I didn't really think that was necessary. Right from the beginning it was obvious she was going through something serious that she worked through as the book progressed. I like the way the stuff I don't like to read about was brought up and explained justifiably. The plot was something that kept my attention and that will be able to carry through with future books.

I loved Lucky, Book One in the series so I was excited to receive an ARC for this book. About halfway in, I preordered it to have a copy for my personal e-library. It is that good. And while both books can standalone, I recommend reading Lucky first since it provides background about the Inked Menace MC and the supporting characters.

This is second book in the Inked Menance series and is a standalone but to better understand the world it's best to read book one first. Oliver AKA Pretty Boy is a Siberian Tiger, who is tough but he is also a sweetheart when it comes to those he cares about and will do what it takes to protect them. When Anara comes to the U.S. to see her sister Maura and and Hunter, her sisiter's mate, so she can ask for help to track down and seek vengeance on those who kidnapped and tortured her. When Oliver sees her he knows that she is his mate and is willing not only to help her get her revenge but also to show her how to love and trust again. Oliver knows he must learn her secrets and Mara knows that she must let go to learn to trust again. Will these two be able to get past all the obstacles or will the past get in the way of their HEA? This is a quick read at least it was for me, but you will get all the things you expect in a biker shifter story. I can't wait to read the next book in the series..

I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review. Great story. Amara Delco is on a mission, to stop all the experiments to all shifters. She needs to stop them, she only escaped by the seat of her pants. Her friend Luther finds her and takes her in, but there is always a price. He wants her to gather any info she can on Cecila and The Inked Menace MC Club. As she travels to the club, she has no idea when she gets there she will meet a shifter Tiger named Oliver. Pretty boy as the club calls him, she never expected sparks to fly when they lock eyes. She can't deal with this right now, she has to let her 1/2 sister Maura and the president of Inked Menace what is going on with Lexcon and the experiments and to ask for their help. They are using shifters for tests, cutting them open to see how fast they can heal. Will they help her find and kill those involved? and will Amara let go of the past and try to find love with Oliver? Stay tuned!

This was an great read with fantastic characters and their interaction with each other was great. The story line flow in this story was smooth and a pleasure to read.

Powerful story of love and vengeance. Once you start reading, you are not going to want to put it down. I can't wait for the next book.

Loved this book! I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the second in the Inked Menace series and if possible I enjoyed even more than the first! In addition to delving deeper into the stories of our favorites from nook one, we also meet Amara... The bad azz Sergeant at Arms who is bent on revenge... And her pretty boy fated mate Oliver. There is plenty of action, suspense and raw shifter sexiness to burn up your Kindle with this one but it still gives an incredible story. I can't wait for the next book!

Wow! Absolutely loved the book. Amara, tough on the outside and a softy on the inside, fighting the mating thinking she isn't a worthy mate. The humans tortured her in ways . She wants revenge. Oliver, Amara's mate, fights for her love. He stands by her in everything she needs to do. A wonderful exciting story. I can't wait to see what comes next in the series.

This book had me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Between Amarra having to deal with The the after effects of extreme torture and realizing she has found her Mate in Oliver, who wants to kill everyone that had anything to do with her torture which no one from her own club was offering to do. Amarra takes a risk in Oliver and his Club and finally finds the peace she needs to find upon her own kind with shifters that accept her for being Oliver's Mate and will protect her to no end. Peace

Amara is not a shy girl, "Amara broke free of Oliver’s sinful mouth and looked up and to the right at her sister. “I’m in the process of giving a rather good hand job, so sod off.” I think Amara wear the pants in the relationship, “you bloody well are mine,” she said through gritted teeth. “And when we’re alone again...” She leaned closer and pressed her lips to his, sliding her tongue along his bottom lip. “I’ll prove it.” I liked this book Oliver and Amara go well together.

received this ARC copy for a fair review. Amara Delco has come to the USA looking for revenge she is staying with her sister's pack and is in no way looking for love, but them she meets Oliver. He is a love them and leave them kind of guy but one look at Amara he knows she is different and can he get past all her defenses. Amara has been through a lot and doesn't think she can be with anyone she feels like a broken toy. What a great story can not wait to read more of Ryanne Hawk's books.

Amara had been Kidnap by poacher while she was hunting. She was tortured before she escape. Now she has a lead on them. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Loved the plot and the blend of action and romance. The action starts right from the get go and continues all the way through. This in Oliver " Pretty-Boy" and Amara's story. Together with the help of the Inked Menace MC crew, fight a common enemy. I really like this series and look forward to a book #3.
