It’s 1973. A machine gun bullet ripping over his head is a sign that motorcycle courier Rick Putnam is heading for trouble again. A winter on the Northern Cheyenne reservation seems to have shaken off any pursuit from last year's discovery of High Treason in the Oval Office, so it’s time for motorcycle courier Rick and, his girlfriend Eve Buffalo Calf to head back home.
First, a short stop to help out some of his girlfriend's activist clients--in the small town of Wounded Knee.
A promise made to another Vietnam veteran results in a race through the Black Hills with a secretive cult trying to kill them at every turn. Rick follows the cult back to Washington DC and he, and his computer hacker housemates, take on the cult and the corrupt bureaucrats who support it before it can despoil the sacred lands of the Northern Cheyenne and destroy the childhood of an innocent young girl.

I moved to Washington DC in 1973 to kick around for a few weeks until I decided on a real career. I ended up riding a classic BMW R50/2 for ABC News during Watergate. Carrying that news film was the beginning of a 40-year career that has included producing Emmy Award-winning television news, writing everything from magazine articles to standup comedy and developing many of the earliest forms of online media.

After producing stories in Beirut, Hong Kong, El Salvador, and all 50 states, I still live right outside Washington, DC because my wife and my dog simply refuse to live anywhere else.

I have just finished a memoir of those early years and am in search of an agent.

This thriller, bounces all over the country. There are motorcycles flying all over, secret agents, kidnapping, murder and a lot more.

The narration was well done, except for several mispronunciations. The characters were excellently portrayed.I liked special effects of radio sounds.
