This is a nice little book with a bunch or tips and advice that anybody could use, not just graduates. I will definitely be putting some of what I learned to practice.

5 out 5 stars, highly recommend for any recently graduated or about to graduate people in your life. Makes a great stocking stuffer for holidays, or a graduation gift (much more practical than flowers).
This is a wonderful little wealth of knowledge, and obviously it can't and doesn't cover everything, but it's a great starting point.
Included are tips and tricks for being a successful adult, as well as advice and shared knowledge on topic ranging from worklife (resume writing, wardrobe building, etc.) to home life (cleaning tips, rent advice, tax information) and social life (how to make friends, dealing with mental health, and more).
As a recent graduate, this was a good read and a great starting place for a lot of topics I hadn't thought about before.

Got this book after I graduated high school and never read it. It’s been sitting in my room for the past 4 years so I thought I’d give it a read. Couple things:
1. I had no clue what the symbols on the tags of my clothes meant before seeing the table in this book.
2. The meal plan table in the book is a really good, organized idea.
3. Maybe shopping in farmers markets is the way to go.
4. “Rule of thumb: dress like your boss”. I’ve never heard that before but it’s a good idea.
5. As a grown adult after graduation, you should be treating your parents more so as roommates than providers.

If I need to know about some random stuff post-grad, I’ll pick up this book.

A super short and easy read. I don't think I'm the target audience any longer (I got it and intended to read it when I was) though in some elements, it's more relevant now. The book taught me some interesting tidbits, and common sense stuff I might have missed, which I suppose is the purpose. However, it seems like this book is geared more towards females, which isn't a problem for me, but might not be relevant to everyone.

I love this wonderful little book! It is all the advice I would (and try to) give my kids. Concise and easy to read, this little gem covers such topics as how to deal with a roommate, write a cover letter, grocery shop, make new friends, buy a grown-up wardrobe, buy a car, ask someone out and/or break up with someone plus many more. So many practical subjects, insurance, taxes, wedding etiquette. I could go on and on. All well thought out yet very breezy and welcoming in style. A great little gift for every graduate and young adult.

Going to be a junior next year at my university and I am always planning for the future. This book seems like a good place to start to figure out what the real world is going to be like. Can not wait to read it!

Disappointed in myself for NOT taking a gander at this before I graduated. Ah well, better late than never.
