wtf was this volume ? It's literally just ADULTS (one married man and one female teacher) sexually harassing HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ??? and we're supposed to find it normal/cute ??
I'm getting tired of the guys FORCING themselves on API, its beginning to get creepy, like adults don't just jump students and it might just be a manga but its gross. Adults are forcing themselves on students left and right, especially a teacher, like wtf???? I liked the main romance at first but there’s no budging, and it’s weird that Shusei keeps acting like he’s interested but doesn’t do anything but continuously tease Aoi. I’m considering stopping the manga if it doesn’t get interesting.
Sorry, Watanabe. I love you but this just really isn't doing it for me
2 out of 5 stars
This is literally an Oh, brother moment. Why is this getting worse? I can't even count how many times my eye rolled in this volume. I'm so tired to elaborate on the points why too, I don't think this is going to change anyway. There are just so many red flags here and I'm just going to get mad if I tried to recall everything. Augh, where's the cookie jar I need comfort! 😭
And damn, the cliffhanger!! Shusei found out and I hate feeling this way 😭
Hmmm, I'm really really really not convinced by the guy. He still acts kind of "fishy". And Aoi just falls for it! I'll just keep reading because of the art (really beautiful) and cause I want to know where this is going.
You thought volume 2 was bad? Wait until you read this shit. There is absolutely no conceivable way this would happen in real life. There is no way this is cute or romantic or whatever you call it. I'm done. The movie was good.
Yea, watch the movie instead because this is just a waste of time and money. Oh how you forsake me.
it’s actually disgusting what happened in this volume. can’t believe some of y’all still think it’s cute when sexual harassment happens. between a minor and a married man!!!!!!!!!?????
This one starts off funny with Shuusei's friends coming over to his place and Aoi hiding so they won't see her. I thought she was going to get caught for sure but it was only a close call and their secret remains safe and sound.
Now this volume is a lot weaker compared to the past two in my eyes. Yes, I know it's fiction and fake and doesn't compare to real life but when the language teacher is all over Shuusei... like all over him, pushing her chest in his face and then trying to get her freaking student into bed... that's just a bit much for me personally. Though I do like that he leaves the teacher tied down in a bed because she wouldn't leave him alone. Nice touch. Through all this Aoi just wishes she could spend some time with him and she does at last get her wish.
Shuusei’s older brother - Soju - is an asshat. I don't get why he just shows up and then is determined to her his brother. Shuusei's got a weird family. Soju tells Aoi that he wants her and his brother together and gives her some advice to get him. It doesn't work though and so Soju ends up kissing Aoi to show her how a kiss should be. Then he comes up with the idea that he'll come over and help make his little brother jealous... just wow. Finally Soju shows Shuusei a picture of him and Aoi kissing.
This is my least favorite volume so far. I really hope the next ones are more like the last two and not like this one because this is not the series that I fell in love with in the last two volumes, this was just some really weird stuff that had me rolling my eyes and shaking my head.
This volume accidentally awaken the feminist side of me which I didn't notice before. People please, women are not living things that want to be treated sexually 24 hours and didn't even protest when she doesn't like it. Shout, scream, hit or whatever whenever someone force himself on you. Please women, protect yourself. Don't be hallucinated by this Aoi, reality ain't what you read in this volume.
I was quite bored with this and thought I might drop the manga here, but then Shusei’s brother arrived and he was the very definition of shaking things up!
Fantastic twists when it comes to him, he’s such an intriguing and also somewhat revolting character. He is a lot like Shusei but arguably more deranged. He’s certainly a more worthy antagonist than the other high school kid from vol 2. And the cliffhanger ending suggests vol 4 is going to be very interesting…
3/5 This volume was so weird. Aoi and Sushei are now sharing the apartment and their dynamic is strange. She is in love with him and slowly realizing it but he keeps teasing her and treating her like a little girl. On a four day school trip Aoi wants to spend time with him, but the new teacher is head over heels with sushei and flirting with him and trying to keep any girl apart and that made me really uncomfortable. She’s a full grown woman throwing herself at an underage student and trying to get his attention to take him to bed. She says she doesn’t care about Benz and other stuff as status or money when she’s around him and I’m just like wtf you don’t even know the dude. Anyways on that trip in the end Moe tries to make her closer to sushei (the teachers are really strict) and in the end they watch the night lights together. In that moment sushei is really cute with her but once they are back someone followed them. Sushei’s old brother caughts Aoi and introduces himself by taking a picture of her and saying he’s a freelancer photographer and he kind of stalked her with again it’s really UNCOMFORTABLE. He shares some bits of susheis past and explains how they felt apart because he started dating sushei’s girlfriend and now he is married. He keeps an album full of pictures of his brother through middle grade and he’s been traveling around the country so he didn’t inow sushei went to live on his own. Sushei suspects his brother is around but Aoi lies to him because she doesn’t want to bother him. After an unexpected encounter Aoi wants to know how to make sushei happy. He’s been good to her and bought her a necklace and his brother thinks the best gif is to make him remember how nice is to be happy and in love. He gives her a magazine so she can learn how to kiss and how to approach him (very weird given the fact that he’s a full adult and she is a teenager) and she tries but every time she fails and he seems not interested. In the end sushei discovers her plan and tells her the best thing is not to be in a rush and wait for the right person, which honestly was like a slap on the face because is this supposed to be a romance? I don’t feel anything from sushei and he keeps ignoring her. In the end his brother kisses Aoi without her consent in a car (it was her first kiss) and takes a picture without her knowing. Now he wants to make him jealous so the two of them came up with a plan to achieve it. He arrives at the house but sushei doesn’t want him. He stays for dinner and he acts as if he’s interested in her and makes her wash his back while he’s showering and they share a futon and he kisses her again and tries to touch her (this is assault btw and again he’s married and she’s a minor) and sushei simply doesn’t care and offers them condoms. That part made me felt really uncomfortable because not only Aoi was assaulted once but two times by that scumbag but also sushei is just chilling and I feel bad for her. By the end of this manga we get to see how the brother shows sushei the kiss pic he took without Aois consent and I can feel the drama coming. I honestly don’t know if the author is trying to raise awareness about assault because in this volume we got the teacher with sushei and the brother with Aoi. And in the previous one we got the other guy trying to get aois attention by calling himself a pet, calling her a master, stalking her and getting in her houses honestly I hope the next volume will be better because I don’t think I can keep up with this manga if it continues being this way
so, there's a teacher sexually harrassing her student and an older married man sexually harrasing a teenage girl, and both of them are supposed to be funny/cute/just peachy?
It' one thing to read this as an adult and see the issues in everything presented as romantic or playful, but it's another to read tis as a teenager and think that this is what romance is. It feels like it was written by a teennager preaching all the bad aspects of relationships.
I don't know, does this series even deserve my time?
Noooooo! No no no! I could see where this was going a mile away but I still hate it! And I hate that that grown ass man stole her first kiss like that ugh this whole debacle isn't as fictional as one would hope though and the sexual harassment by the female teacher and the adult brother were not pleasant reminders of things from own teenage years so I can't hate this arc...
But I still hate it and this series is on time out for being bad and making me mad.
4 adorable teenage couples out of 5 horny loser adults set to ruin everything
What the heck....was this? The plot was all over the place and just...ICK. A teacher sexually harassing a student with no consequences - it was disgusting to read. The characters are not very appealing in this volume and I don’t like where the plot is going. Such a shame, since I loved the first volume. This also had no connection to the second volume...so it didn’t really make much sense...and made the second volume seem even more bizarre. I hope this series picks up...
I'm still liking this, though what's the older brother's problem? Why is he causing trouble and why doesn't his brother want him there. I can't wait to see some hopefully explosive emotion from him in the next volume over that picture.
so finally Aoi admits she's in love with Shuusei which was lovely. My only problem with this volume was Shuusei's brother... arghh i hated him so much!
Summary Aoi finally admits her own feelings for Shusei, but now she has to work up the courage to tell him! Unfortunately that will be rather difficult as Shusei continues to not concern himself with Aoi's feelings or giving up their cover. In the meantime, both Aoi and Shusei go on a trip to Hokkaido. Despite Shusei's sensei creating a scene and throwing herself at Shusei, Aoi and Shusei end up together on a beautiful night gazing over the city lights. The next day, Shusei's brother shows up to to help Aoi attract Shusei's attentions, but will his attempts be successful or will their scheming end up doing more damage than good?
My Rating: 3 stars. Maybe a 2.7
My Review: I loved the first scene in this book. I thought it was truly hilarious how Aoi tries so hard, too hard in fact to not be discovered with Shusei. So much so that she hides under the covers and sneaks off outside while the Shusei and his friends are playing video games. I was dying laughing the whole time! But then Shusei and Aoi take a plunge several floors to avoid being seen together. Yeah... there's no way someone wouldn't break some bones at least. I don't know about you, but I don't know anybody who would go to those lengths (literally) to hide a girl. That's manga for you!
Now we come to the teacher scene. Sheesh! My god. Seriously? That teacher is really pretty, and she could probably get any hot guy she wanted who was HER OWN AGE, but instead she just likes them young, ew yuck! I wasn't totally surprised the author threw that scene in there because it is manga after all and I will be honest and say I've been hearing more and more stories in real life where young teachers are sleeping with their high school students, but that's sexual assault! Come on' lady! Even though I was thoroughly disgusted, I did however LOVED how Shusei dealt with her. He basically not only pointed out she was being ridiculous and a pain in the ass when he threw her over his shoulder and took her to the grill stand, but he also gave her a taste of her own medicine!
We met the sister, now enter the brother. Could you believe that there is a more messed up guy than Shusei? Why do all of the men in this series grope and sexually assault Aoi? I mean I feel like Shusei tries to make a point to Aoi that she's not fighting them back or just "letting them do it" but seriously? It SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE! That's the one thing that really erks me about this manga and is getting old real fast with this series. Honestly this could be a 4 or maybe even 5 star series, but I think that really turns off readers and I can see why! It's uncomfortable to read, but I can't stop reading because I don't understand how Aoi can put up with all this abuse? Honey, no man is worth that. I don't care why Shusei or Soju are doing that to her, it's just WRONG. Does anyone else see a problem with this?
Anyways, going back to the brother, Soju appears to want to help Aoi on the surface to get Shusei's attention, but then we discover he has his own secret agenda. What is Soju really up to?
