I've always known that glacier lily bulbs were edible but wasn't aware that the flowers are too. The next time we go backpacking our cocktails with snow floating on the top will also have a golden glacier lily flower perched on the rim of the glass thanks to this book.

This blurb from the cover says it all, "A stunning look at the natural abundance of the mountain states-with clear guidance on identification, gathering techniques, and uses for the fruits, leaves, roots and flowers." --Jennifer McGruther, author of The Nourishing Kitchen

I checked the book out from the library but will be buying my own copy today.
