Broken Clocks

Basically a good story, worth reading

A first novel from a new writer. Broken Clocks shows promise with a good story line, and a tantalizing "more to come" ending that begs for Book Two.

This self-published book would benefit from more character development as well as giving the reader a better sense of time and place. I'm feeling a late-19th century setting, though the language and manners are somewhat inconsistent with that time period. There are some grammatical errors that are somewhat jarring, and some sentence structure that could be improved.

Overall, a good first attempt that would benefit from the help of a good editor/mentor.

Good luck, Trisha. Keep at it and don't give up
