Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.
I usually love books by LAYLAH ! I have reread all of her series at least 3 times. This 1 seems like it was Phoned in. It followed the HEA script but the character development and storyline Was lacking it was hollow. There's always something comforting to see a new book from Ms. Roberts Because you know you can grab a blanket and you're in For an enjoyable story that usually lets you revisit old friends and has a wonderful story of a new couple. I truly feel there was not a lot of character development and it seemed "phoned in". The foundation had promise but just did not deliver.
I loved reading this novella. It gave a whole new viewpoint of Wishingbone outside of the characters we’ve all learned to love from Montana Daddies (though, there are a couple of characters that pop up at the Wishing Well—IYKYK)!
I loved seeing Stafford and Blakely work through some road bumps to find their way to loving one another!
Blakely is so adorable. Stafford was a goner from the second she walked in. This is such a fun read. I loved grandpa Jack. He really is the voice of reason. However, the best part of this book is all the characters she meets. All the familiar characters made me want to reread that whole series. This is a fantastic read.
I give this to 3.5 star. I’d like to the premises, but I think the execution was as good as her other books. I didn’t like how it was really an epilogue either.
