I did not finish this book at 12%

No, no, no, no, heck no.

I swear to god, it's like the beginning of freaking Twilight. Even the prologue talks about death and being at peace... Just like Twilight. The ONLY difference is that the main characters parents are dead and she has a brother. I just can't do anther wannabe Twilight book. I can't and I won't.

Just ridiculously awful.

The ending turned this great book into half crap. Sometimes you can't wrap everything up. Authors don't feel you have to. Ethan became a 'victim' at the end of this book & he's not. He's a great dude I would like to know, nothing to do with his "hawtness" level either. Madison is a good protaganist to back. I don't know about Lucas yet. Noah is a victim just like Madison, but he chooses to be silent. I completely understand his reaction. On to book 2!

Can't wait for more!

I really liked this book. It was written very well and I loved the characters. It gave off somewhat of a Twilight feel, but don't let that discourage you! I loved the plot! If you are looking for a dangerous romance this is definitely for you. Loss, love, confusion, danger, mystery it has it all! Can't wait to read more!

A Great Twist

Wow what an adventure! A unique twist on vampires, werewolves, and witches. I loved the action packed ending. I think I would to see more of the relationship between Ethan and Madison delved in to a little more, some more Lucas, and I'd love to read the letter from Madison's mom. Overall an excellent story.

Captivated!

After the tragic death of her parents, Madison James and her little brother Noah go to live with their! estranged uncle Jake in the sleepy town of Haven Hill. But Jake can hardly take care of himself.

Madison just wants to get through senior year without having a meltdown, and she has no interest in boys…. That is, until she meets the devastatingly handsome Ethan Storm.

But Haven Hill is no ordinary town, and Madison learns that Ethan has a secret—he’s a werewolf. As their hearts collide, Madison finds herself hunted by a pack of ruthless werewolves, and Ethan must battle his own kind to save her.

I would just like to say this is the start of a beautiful friendship! This is the an absolutely amazing book! In the beginning I found this book to read a lot like Twilight, but oh no it's so much more. The details, the relationships, and intriguing characters to top it off. There is so much more to the story that meets the eye.

I started reading this book simply because it had a beautiful cover and it was on my sisters kindle so I decided to get it, but it indeed is something special.
This book is a treasure...seriously no joke.

I recommend anyone who likes humor, twilight (but wanted more), loves romance and is intrigued by vampires, werewolves and witches...oh my! Read. Read. Read.

I'd go for two and a half stars, but three is sufficient.
This book has a great cover, it's fiery and fine and it caught my attention (seriously, I'd love some tips from the cover designer, great stuff:-) )
The story opens with an accident and after losing both parents the heroine is forced to move in with an alcoholic uncle to Haven hill where nothing is at it seems, apparently there are vampires, werewolves and witches who seriously hate each other and she's dragged into it.

So, there were plenty of parts that felt borrowed from Twilight, like the intense stares between the heroine and werewolf Ethan.
How he ripped open a door to save her from an accident and claimed she was seeing things at the hospital, and the same happens with the vampire Lucas. It felt more like a switch up of Twilight, how about we get the girl to end up with the werewolf instead? Those were the vibes I got, but they could also mean nothing because on the plus side, there's a story here. It's fuzzy at first, but as you follow the breadcrumbs you get your way and it's made better by Uncle Jake.

Family's always got your back and that's why I loved it, Uncle Jake is something tough and special beneath the beer cans!

It started off somewhat okay. Then...it wasn't. Kind of stupid.

I really enjoyed the plot of the book and getting to know Madison. I really wish I'd gotten to know more about some of the other characters though. Why wasn't Noah talking and what made him suddenly start? What is Jakes story? Or Ethan? Well Madison was such a strongly written character, a lot of the other characters seemed like after thoughts just thrown in. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Nice read

The young can make the world change romance and love can endure most anything and add in family there is a tough one to overcome.

This book started out pretty good but the relationship literally grew over night from indifferece to love. The ending was rushed and came out of left field.

Nice

I really enjoyed this book! Nice fast paced entertainment. It does have a slight "twilight" line to it but you get past it once you invest in the characters.

Fun!

This was a fun adventure. Love story was a little quick for me, but plot was great and thought there were definite neat quirks and turns. Excited for second book!
