I wanted to enjoy this one but it was pretty so-so for me. There are so many stories with this trope that it didn't stand out enough for me. Seth's treatment of Naomi when he KNEW who she was set my teeth on edge a bit. Sure, it was all part of him coming to terms with his feelings for her but it did not endear him to me at all. Unfortunately, this was a miss for me.

Cold shower time...as if it isn't already so hot in here this time of year...another sizzling hot Nora Flite book has hit my kindle and I am feeling the steam.
Naomi is an artist who is literally starving, living in a rundown place, hoping to get into the Art institute of her choice so she can make it in the big city of LA. She meets a billionaire art lover who wants not only her creations but the artist herself and what he proposes to her is the answer to her prayers and could possibly open the doors to her dream career.
A glimpse into some of Seth's secrets and a look at what goes on in a private area of his mansion has Naomi breaking all the rules and what happens when she is discovered is as dangerous as it is exciting.
There is a huge thrill when people hide behind masks...and not knowing what truly lies inside their hearts can be frightening...but this book explores what happens when people drop the pretense and let go of their inhibitions. It was a story of finding the right one in the least likely person and place, but being brave for the sake of the unknown for the sweetest rewards.
Another sensual and exciting dark romance from Nora Flite that will leave you wanting more of this interesting couple.

Freaking Hell, this book is just BRILLIANT. Its written so well, as always!
When the story starts, I thought it was going towards one direction, but soon enough, I started to come accross twists and turns. The read was brilliant and captivating; with her unique and amazing writing style, and without retelling the story (as some "author" do to fill the pages), Nora Flite has outdone herself once more.
It was captivating, heart wrenching, amazing, brilliant, dark and WOW, more much more.
All the twists, suspense, danger, darkness, romance and the sizzle as the dark affair develops kept me at the edge of my seat the whole entire time. JUST AMAZING.

I received this book for an honest review and loved this opportunity because it was truly a great read. This book takes you into some of the darker sides of bdsm which I'm not normally a huge fan of because it gets to predictable. However Nora was able to bring it all together and I was able to fall in love with both Seth and Master Onyx. My only issue was that I needed it to be a little longer. I think the connection between them could of taken us deeper into their realationship and we could of experienced a bond so much deeper.

I loved the story of Seth and Naomi. Seth is your typical dominant male that has an obsession with Naomi. He hires her to paint a mural on a wall in his home and she soon discovers other things that he's obsessed with, dominance. Naomi is fairly naive in this world but he soon turns her on to some amazing feelings shes been hiding. Together they find a happiness he didn't know existed. Great book.

HOT! HOT! HOT! This book was off the charts for carnal passion. I have read and always loved Nora’s work but this one was full of erotic lust and sensual passion.
Naomi/ Opal was in need of an acceptance into a prestigious art school and hot mysterious billionaire Seth/Onyx was more than willing to cut a deal with her. All she had to do was agree to paint a mural in his mansion along with following the entire contract he had given her. When she arrived at the mansion to begin her mural she was drawn to a gold door that she was not to enter for any reason. Of course her curiosity got the better of her and when she had seen various people entering the room wearing masks she figured what better way to see what was going on in there but to put on a mask and take a peek.
Little did she know that little look-see would blow her world and she would be hooked into something she had no idea actually existed, at least not in her world. The goings on behind this door was like an addiction to Naomi and she had to live out the fantasy she never knew she had especially when she found out the part that Seth played in this little masquerade.
If you are looking for a totally HAWT read and want to take a little peek into a world that is beyond a turn on, you have to read this book. It was so intense that you had to keep reading just to get over your own sexual frustrations!

My Secret Master by Nora Flite, was provided to me for an honest review, and I thank her for this opportunity. This novel is smoking HAWT! The pages fly by and I read it in one afternoon.
The novel is about “love, and not fighting it when it comes calling,” Naomi and Seth’s story. Naomi is a down-on-her luck artist who is broke and has trouble getting accepted into a prestigious art college. Her luck changes when a dealer sees her work at an art show and invites her to display her work at a gallery. Along comes our protagonist, Seth, a billionaire who watches Naomi as she displays her art and paints a canvas. He appears to be fascinated with her style and her art. Seth engages Naomi to paint a mural at his mansion, but gives her a list of rules to follow. Seth has some mighty big secrets, so there are reasons for him to set rules. Naomi is not good about following rules and she discovers Seth’s secrets. The two of them get caught up in a masquerade, and the drama unfolds. The suspense builds, and I guarantee you will not be able to put your kindle down until you reach the end!
As with all of Nora Flite’s novels, the story is captivating from page one to the very last page. Nora writes compelling characters that I’ve come to adore. There is mystery, excitement, romance and dark sexiness in this novel. All of these elements contributed to a winning read. I've really enjoyed the previous books I've read of Nora's, I'm a big fan of Last of the Bad Boys, so I was excited to receive an arc of My Secret Master. If you're a fan of the dominating bad boy billionaire with a hidden life this is a book for you.
This is different than the other books I've read of hers- more mysterious and darker.
Nora is a young woman, living in CA, just trying to make her own way in the art world and get accepted to college when she is invited to showcase her art at a gallery opening. While there she comes in contact with the mysterious Seth, and her life makes a drastic change.
Seth hires her to paint a mural at his home, allowing her to live there and make use of the many amenities while she's there- as long as she follows his rules. Nora's intrigued by some of the secrets that she sees going on in the house after-hours, and decides to do a little sneaking around on her own. What she encounters is nothing what she expected, but she is so fascinated by what she discovers she can't help returning again and again, even under fear of discovery.
I would have liked a more in-depth look into Seth's character, he seems to have a lot to him that could have been explored more deeply. But overall this was a pretty enjoyable, quick, easy read.

Master Onyx gives me heart palpitations!
Like a tornado the story sucks you in, spins you all around, then spits you out to try to carry on with your life.
While the story does follow the standard outline for the genre, poor girl meets rich billionaire, He becomes obsessed, she falls in love, He is controlling and dominant, she likes it, etc. Nora Flite has put her talent to work making this story so much more!
Naomi, a.k.a. Opal is such a well rounded character. Even though she is somewhat innocent, she doesn't have some of the typical struggles as some of the female characters in this genre do. She doesn't have all the feelings of "wrongness". She has a little spunk to her as well. She will never truly be brought to heel.
As for Seth, well first give me second to wipe the drool off my face that just thinking about him causes. OK, Where to start? At the risk of seeming shallow, holy hell he is hot! The body is to die for and his cocky dominating nature sends my ovaries into spasms! Under all of that is a tenderness that completely melts you.
This book will definitely appeal to those who like billionaire romances or those who like what I would consider light-ish BDSM. I sincerely hope that this is not the last we hear about Seth and Naomi.

I really enjoyed this book. It was super sexy. Seth was definitely a complex character and it was interesting to get to see the different sides he shows to Naomi. Naomi's thoughts had me laughing out loud a few times. I loved when Seth finally got his head out of his ass. And the scene with the rope? Oh my god, that was hot! There was a few points however, that bothered me a bit (I could be wrong but…) when Opal thinks Onyx is going to auction her and confronts him I'm not sure that is the actions of a healthy Dom/Sub relationship. Like I said, I could be wrong but, I thought most 'punishments' were sexual in nature and a dom wouldn't let another raise his hand to his sub, even a sub in training. That was the only part I found a problem with, and it didn't take away from my enjoyment of this book. I would absolutely recommend this book. <3

My view is a mixture of intense, mind boggling, and erotic all wrapped up in this book. Started out innocent with a 'starving artist' Naomi down on her luck with trying to get into California Arts college but is being denied not once but 3 times. When she is about to fold in the towel and go back home to her mother's her luck will change with she get an invite to a gallery to showcase her art. Now her life will change forever with a confident hot man, Seth, walks in on her painting and comments on a piece she is working on and turns up the next day to get all her art and offer her a deal that she cant refuse if it gets her, her dream collage but at what cost will she have to submit to get the letter she needs for college, or worse what if Seth can get her to obey his every command but the one he dont want revealed.

My Secret Master by Nora Flite is a story of the heroine Naomi Starling who is a struggling artist with a dream of attending California College of Fine Arts. She has attempted for three years to attend with three refusal letters for all her trouble. Then fate seems to turn in her favor when she meets Seth Hart, whom just happens to be the biggest financial contributor to CCFA. A letter of Recommendation from Seth would go along way in making her wishes all come true. He seems to truly like her art, and also like her as a person. When Seth offers her a contract to paint some pictures on the wall of his home, she believes this is the means to make all her dreams come true. Fabulous, hot and steamy! This book was an ARC given for an honest review. i love this author. Her books get better and better if possible. Seth is a billionaire who invites Naomi , struggling artist to paint a mural at his home. While there she discovers some secrets. His alter ego is Onyx and she discovers that he has a kinky dark side! In his home, he has a private room where people come to fulfill their fantasies but wear a mask as its all anonymous. Naomi discovers and explores her submissive side and falls for Seth / Onyx. This story is hot hot and kept me rssding without interruption until I finished it. Highly recommend if you like down on your luck heroines and yummy kinky billionnaire!

Nope. Just no.
It annoys me when an author is capable of writing a description good enough to entice me to read their book, but then the actual story falls flat. There was nothing enjoyable about this book. It was totally predictable and I kept wondering if the author bothered to to any actual BDSM research or just gathered it from other books she read. No discussions prior to play about limits? Afterwords were never even mentioned. The main character is gagged in front of a room full of people with no way to signal if she's in distress, and he ignored her completely when she told him she was not an exhibitionist. Totally disappointing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE EVERY THING MS FLITE WRITES BUT THIS ONE WAS JUST NOT FOR ME.... :(
GIVEN TO ME BY THE AUTHOR FOR MY HONEST REVIEW..
Seth was a bit wooden and not very likeable and Naomi was very child like and silly...
The story was good and the interaction with the MC was some times nail biting and filled with sexual tension but overall not my cuppa tea..
BUT... Anyone that loves any thing to do with Dom/sub and icy control will love this very well written story... well done Nora no doubt will be a BIG BIG hit....

Seth is pure Alpha male, to his core. Needs to control.
Naomi is an artist who is down on her luck. Seth comes into her life when she needs him the most. he offers her a proposal with "some" conditions which of course she doesn't follow. what happens next is panty melting.
Ms. Flite never disappoints! one of my favorite authors!!

I have to say this was slightly different than the others I've read, however pleasantly surprised. I did have trouble falling into it at first, but read on and as usual was intrigued. Naomi was inexperienced, shy & too curious for her own good LOL :) I really liked Seth, very strong sexy & intense, Yum! Hard not to give anything away, let's just say.... go buy it people & enjoy the ride.

I thought her character was obnoxious and immature, especially for being an amazing artist. Seth was ok. I with more of the story was from his POV. I never really understood him and why Naomi was never supposed to go into the room behind the gold door. I just didn't get the point of the story.

This is a very good read a very different read to last of the bad boys which I absolutely loved, I admit I was expecting a really bad boy billionaire but he really isn't he has just got a little secret.
A definite must to read but go into it not remembering her previous books this is a totally different kind of book for Nora but very well done.

Wow, something different from all the master books. Whilst reading this book, a few times i thought Naomi would run for the hills because i probably would have (I think)but that i wont know until a Seth is standing in front of me.... The book was unpredictable and just had a different twist in it that i totally love.

I have read most of Nora's books and I truly think this is her best one yet. I love the characters and the plot keeps you glued. I am not one to talk about the specifics as I feel good books should be read, but this does have a HEA, as well as some steamy bondage. Do yourself a favor and buy this today. Thanks for another wonderful read Ms. Flite.

If was a good book. Kinda slow at first. Sort of back and forth between the characters. The sex scenes were very hot and sexy. It ended up being a good romance book. I do recommend this to my friends.

Quick and engaging read, I read it in one sitting. Plenty of hot and steamy scenes with the BDSM very tastefully done. Off to go investigate this author further!

This was quick kinky fun. I didn't click with either of the characters and I didn't really feel Seth as a Dom but it was still pretty enjoyable.

Ever since E L James raked it with 50 Shades, everyone has to jump on the same bandwagon...this book was really not up my alley...Seth is too bloody annoying for my taste.
