Torn Between Two Bosses

Rate this book
Loving a hustler is one thing. But what happens when you love two...and can't choose?
Josephine (Josie) Anderson is a hustling hair dresser that slangs hairdos and boosted clothes with her little sister, Ashley. She works at a hair salon with her transgendered godmother, Leslie, who takes being Josie’s godmother very serious. So much so, she’s always in Josie’s business trying to hook her up with random guys. What she doesn't know is that Josie is screwing Leslie's brother, Kennedy, behind everyone's back.

Kennedy is in love with Josie and wants to be in a committed relationship, but there’s one problem...Kennedy’s long time bottom bitch, Moni, who’s been around for years helping him to build his empire. And she’s NOT going anywhere. Even after Kennedy chooses Josie over her, it doesn’t matter because her love for him runs deep. And her loyalty runs even deeper.

One day Josie’s jealousy causes her to put another player in the game named Russell. Russell's a big time dope dealer that has a reputation for being a ladies' man. He charms Josie with his smooth talking, good looks, and arrogance which are all the qualities Josie likes in a man. However, is this new lover going to cause Josie to be caught up in a deadly love triangle that causes one of her loved ones to lose their life?

With love hanging in the balance, Josie has a decision to make and hopefully she doesn't catch heat for messing with the hearts of two thugs.

Wow

This book already is a sad one. It's sad when you lose someone who has always been there for you. Not knowing why or who did it will cause a person to want vengeance for that loved one. I hope they find out who did that to Leslie and Kennedy needs to get a clue josie does not want him move on dang.

An ok read

Josie is a hustler with her sister ashley and does hair with her mother Leslie. Josie is slick at the mouth but you got to love her. Josie relationship with her mother is strain after she abandon them for her new husband and family. Josie and Ashley are boosters an when a detective visits the shops Josie antennas are up. Josie is seeing Leslie brother Kennedy as a sex buddy but when feelings get involved things get messy and drama pops off and ends in bloodshed and th drama has begun.

Torn Between Two Bosses

This was a very good book. Josephine was a bad mamma jamma. She had two men fighting for her affection. They were willing to go through hoops to be with her. Kennedy could've had a chance, but he is not willing to let go. Russell has a chance, but I hope he's not hiding anything. Leslie raised Josephine and her sister Ashley when their mother abandoned them. Their mother Paula has a secret that she doesn't want to cone out. There is also something going on with Raven and Thomas.

Unfortunately, the title was not what the book was about.the heroine was not torn as she clearly stated she was not interested in an a committed relationship on numerous occasions. I wish the author had taken the time to put some type of structure in place. The story was messy. You did not know who delivered which lines without going back to re-read the sentence. I had to skim large portions of the book, because a conversation that dragged on for 4 pages could have been summed up in one page. Good effort by the author. I am sure in time her storytelling will develop.

I have to say this was a good read.It started off slow but then picked up and hit hard.Josie is in a deep situation at the end when Leslie died.I can't believe that happen she definitely didn't deserve that. But at least it brought Josie and Kennedy closer. Idk who Josie should be with.I can't stand Raven and her disrespectful self.I wish Paula would let them know why Tiffany looks like them.Vivian Blue you did amazing job on this story and I can't wait to read the next part. Good 1st Part.

Started off a little slow to me but then it got really good.... Josie and her sister were doing the damn thing .. Kennedy is something else I don't know what to say about his crazy butt. Russell seems to be a good catch. Sad to see that Leslie was killed... Ready to see how things go with Josie's sisters also
