Ghiselle St. James is a Jamaican author who has a never-ending love for written thoughts: poetry, song lyrics and fiction. Ghiselle writes about tough heroines (much like herself) and the men tasked with loving them. She has been widowed since 2018, works full time, and has a part-time job lecturing, but always makes time for music of all genres, bedroom concerts that sometimes involves twerking, writing, reading and chatting on Facebook.
I pray my passion brings you as much joy as it has brought me.
Want to know happened to Rachel at the end of Complicated? Is this the end of Marshall and Rachel's story? Will she ever get to tell him the secret she's harbored for seven years? You'll find out soon enough!
The emotional conclusion to the intense love story of Marshall and Rachel. COMING February 4, 2016!!!!
Omg!!! I know I always start with this but this was such an Omg!! Kind of story! I was reading through with a smile on my face and my heart race going a mile. You did that Ms. St. James!! Great writing skills! The emotions the characters were carrying were so over whelming. I could not put my kindle down. I had to read all the way through it was a must my heart needed it. She does an exceptional job with this book. Loved it loved it!! I did cry my ass off!! I was a cheerleader through the whole read hahaha!! Great job! I flove Rachel and Marshmellow!! And Delilah love her to pieces
Amazing!! Rachel and Marshall have been in love with each other for ten years, but complications kept them apart for seven years. Marshall is back by Rachel's side, and vows to never leave again. Rachel made a mistake seven years ago, but is afraid how Marshall will react when he learns the truth. Will he be able to forgive her? Will they be able to overcome the complications from the past, and from the present, to finally begin their happily ever after? Can they embrace their second chance?
"I will give every drop of blood in my body..." Love is sacrificial. "She is my one. My only. My forever." Love is true. "He sets my body aflame with his touch...makes me transcendent." Love is passionate. "I’m her strength when she can’t be strong anymore." Love is protective. "Complications caused us to be apart, but now everything has come full circle...we have a second chance." Love is always. "Not even death will separate us. He is it for me, as I am for him – in life and even in death." Love is forever. "I feel like I’ve known you forever, but today feels like the beginning." Love is a beautiful beginning.
I almost didn't want Marshall and Rachel's story to be complete. Now that it is, I am grateful that I got to read about it. I love when a story grabs the reader and never lets go, even after the last word is read. All of Miss St. James's books are like this. I appreciate the air of suspense, the passion, the romance, the interaction between characters and the way she weaves a story. No dialogue or occurrence felt like she was filling space. Her writing was purposeful and it just made me that much more engrossed. The action had me at the edge of my seat and I was shouting at the villain quite a lot!
This story had me crying in some parts. It was that much of an emotional read, yet another depth to the author's writing! The final note from the author also had me in tears. I have no doubt that she will be a great mother when that time comes for her.
A superb read that had me so moved. Complications tore these two apart and now their story is Complete.5 COMPLETE STARS! #teamDitto
Now I wait for the end of Ben and Delilah's story!
WOW!! There isn’t anything else that comes to mind when I think about Complete. The entire storyline of Marshall and Rachel sucked me in and grabbed a hold of my attention so strongly and wouldn’t let it go. This story brings their relationship full circle, completes everything about this pair, and answers every question I ever had as to where their relationship would go. I squealed, I cried, I got angry, happy, and every emotion in between while reading the pages.
With the cliffhanger the author left at the end of Complicated (Tainted Love 2.5), I wasn’t sure what would happen in Complete. I was hoping for a HEA for this couple and Ms. St. James went above and beyond what I was hoping for! Of course, it is not a typical Ghiselle St. James book without some action and suspense to go along with the rest of the story. That played well within the rest of the book and I did not suspect the villain because I was so preoccupied with Marshall and Rachel! Well done!!
It may not be the popular opinion, but I fell more in love with Marshall and Rachel and their story than I did with Ben and Delilah. However, they are both fantastic couples, wonderful friends/family, and I hope to see more from this series.
On a final note – the end of Chapter 21? Well played, Ms. St. James…well played!
After the cliffhanger in “Complicated,” I feel like I’ve been waiting for “Complete” forever. But it’s finally here, and I’m glad that Rachel and Marshall finally got their happy ending. I kept a close eye on my progress just in case she tried to pull another cliffhanger, but she made sure this one had a true ending.
The best part is, it’s finally time for everyone to lay their secrets out on the table and deal with the consequences. The main conflict revolves around Rachel dealing with her guilt and Marshall trying to figure out how to support her through it. I love the way he handles her, pulling her back from the edge when she’s overcome by her darkness and pain.
There were a few nice appearances from Ben and Delilah, but not enough to steal Marshall and Rachel’s thunder. I especially loved the ending and how everything finally came together. I definitely teared up more than once during this one. I couldn’t wait to get to the end, because no one deserves to be happy more than these two.
Now that it’s over, I’m going to miss everyone from the “Tainted Love” universe. But I’m really looking forward to seeing what Ghiselle St. James has up her sleeve next.
Marshall and Rachel (Rae) have been through hell and back throughout their relationship. They have a love for each other that we can only dream about having in our lifetime. They must fight to keep their relationship going, but all should workout in the end as long as there is love, right? They are tested through trials in this story that many would have given up on and called it quits after the first go at their relationship. Rae has this secret that she's so damn scared to reveal to Marshall, but if she tells him will he truly be able to forgive her? Marshall just wants to be with Rachel forever, to be married and to start a family with her. Will he get what he wants to make his dream complete? I love that Ghiselle stays true to the Tainted Love Series by having Delilah and Ben make appearances throughout this story and at just the right time when they do. Ghiselle really did miss her calling as a telenovela screenwriter.
Rachel and Marshal have been in love since they were kids However, a secret has kept them apart for seven years. We are taken back to the cliffy we were left hanging onto in Complicated right from the first page.
I have loved Rachel and Marshal since the beginning of this series and knew they were meant to be together and I was not disappointed in were their journey has taken them. We are given front row seats on an emotional rollercoaster as they each must deal with the past, present and seek forgiveness. Forgiveness in themselves and each other. I love Ghiselle’s writing style as she has a way of portraying each book as if you were witness everything right in front of you. She has a way that makes you feel every emotion as the characters are going through them. Ghiselle has definitely given us another story that stays with me long after.
After waiting 7 years for his love to come back to him Marshall will not let anything or anyone take Rachel from him. Sometimes, though, there are complications that you can't control. Can they prove that love conquers all or will they be torn apart - permanently? I fell in love with Marshall and Rachel while reading Complicated, and although this is marked as a standalone novella you really need to read the first book to understand their pasts. They are such strong characters and you can't help but root for them. As always when reading Ms. St. James' books i finished with a huge smile on my face.
I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Ghiselle St James creates another masterpiece in what may or may not be the final chapter of Rachel and Marshall's love story. They have loved each other for 10+ years but drama, secrets and lies have kept them apart. They are back together but will they survive?? Can they overcome past mistakes and lies? Is a HEA in their future?? If you like romance with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, get on this fast moving ride! Your will experience their happiness, pain, tears and WTF!! Thank you for another amazing story!
I definitely had a love-hate relationship with the characters but this book shows that life is full of complications that will always rip people destined to be together apart from each other. No words.
In this book, you will find psychotic women, love-sick men, secrets, and more within the pages of the book. So I guess, you will have to 1-click the book to see where you find yourself with the characters. With the rating of 3.7 out of 5 stars, you can meet Marshall and Rachel and continue their story.
Ahhhh...this story. These characters. All just amazing. I love Rae and Marsh so fricking much. I love their banter back and forth. I love their depth of love. This story has captured the true power of forgiveness and love. Life throws us all crappy situations and we don't always handle them like we SHOULD. We do things out of fear and selfishness. But there is always faith, hope and love that can get us through. This story reflects it all, and that's why I loved it so fiercely. I can't get enough of these characters and can't wait for more.
Oh my goodness!! The emotions are still so raw! This is not a standalone and you definitely want to read the entire series. This is a one-sit read, no pause, no breaks.. Absolutely beautiful ending. Ms. St. James is amazing. I am going to miss these characters, and I am sad that this series has ended, but I know that she has more for us in the works! Recommended to anyone that loves a good roller coaster ride. ;)
s we journeyed from Complicated to here, where the story takes it path to be Complete. But not before the secrets gets spilled and everything including their love gets tested, again and again. It's definitely quite the roller coaster ride, as the complicated puzzle pieces continues to piece back together to its complete. One bundled with angst, pain, tears and overflowing love. This is a story that you won't be disappointed with. Ghiselle has written a beautifully done ending to their story.
I have always loved Marshall and Rachel, they have always been my favorite characters. Their past is extremely complicated, to the point where it seemed as though it could never be fixed. This book is the story of an amazing fight to find their way to back to each other. You feel their emotions and can tell that Ghiselle St. James poured her heart into this book. This book was a fantastic way to ends their story, I'm sad to see it end but look forward to Ghiselle's future books!
How do i start this review except with this was the perfect ending for Rachel and Marshall's story . I didn't think I could love either in of these characters more than I already did but i do . Holy hotness that is Marshall in all his glory .
* * ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * * * what a great story with real characters and couldn’t put it down. I hated both Rachel and Marshall but loved them at the same time. there were some really hot parts as well as real emotional too. this was a great read.
I freaking loved it. It was the best book ever. The emotions like anything by Ghiselle are so raw and Powerful. It was amazing! I can not wait to read more.
So, let me start by saying that this is in no way, shape, or form a stand-alone novella. This is part of a series, and while technically this is book 2 on this couple, you really should start from the beginning to fully understand the history of the characters. You want to start with Tainted Love, followed by Broken Love, and then Complicated, and on to Complete. If you want to shorten it up, start with Complicated and then this one, but I’d have to tell you that you are missing out bigtime!!!
On to the book. Complete is technically the conclusion to Marshall and Rachel’s part of this story, but knowing Ghiselle and how she likes to intertwine her characters, this isn’t the last we will be seeing of this amazing pair. We met them both in the first set of books, and in Complicated, were finally able to take a deep dive into their relationship. Marshall and Rae have a troubled past. Their relationship had been broken what appeared irreparably, for many, many years. After secrets and lies tore them apart, Complete is the story of their fight back to each other, and what a journey it is. This book is an amazing combination of suspense, tension, hot sweaty naughty bits, cries, laughs, and WHAT THE $%^& shouts! Just when I thought I had everything figured out, I was smacked in the face with a twist that I hadn’t expected.
This is a lengthier novella, but she manages to fit a whole lot of story into it. It’s very well written, detailed where necessary but not to the point where you are skimming just to get to the good parts. The whole thing is made of good parts. Typically I'm not a fan of novella's because I don't feel that I connect with the characters, or many authors leave out what I feel are important details, however that isn't the case here. I don’t think you will be disappointed by reading this series, definitely recommend it. Way to go on another outstanding release!!!
When Rachel is rushed to the hospital Marshall is at her side. He's worried about her health but also happy about the news he received... Until... Rachel decided now is the time to reveal the secret she that has weighed on her heart for seven years keeping them apart. Will her secret tear them apart for good this time? Part 2 Complete is an emotional read. Everything comes back to a full circle.
