Bright and illustrated, this question-and-answer book will help young archeology fans discover more about dinosaurs. It is a great introduction to nonfiction books for preschool and beginning readers.

I really loved the flaps in this book. We have been learning about dinosaurs, so we could answer different questions. This book is from an evolutionary view. Our family likes to do both evolution and creationism theories because neither have been proved, so it's fascinating to think about how people came to their conclusions. With all the dragon stories in the world, how can you not be suspicious that dinosaurs in some form were not around when humans were? Good information in this book, and when kids are active in the reading, they retain more. My boys were chatting with me about all the different information.

NOT A BEDTIME BOOK! Take your time to leisurely read this book because the pictures and information are interesting, accessible, and funny. Normally dinosaur books are a bit technical for me but everything in this book is easy to understand and to explain to a 4-year-old. There are over 60 flaps to lift so this would take a very long time to read as a bedtime pick. Sometimes we do 1 page only at night then read the rest over breakfast (non-school days). My son wants to be a paleontologist and this book is is favorite.

Written by Katie Daynes and illustrated by Marie-Eve Tremblay. Designed by Suzie Harrison. Dinosaur expert: Ed Drewitt. Edited by Jane Chisholm.

A fun lift-the-flap book about dinosaurs. Lots of questions about dinosaurs with answers under each flap. Colourful modern pencil (?) illustrations.

An enjoyable book to read with my son.

Interesting but concerned about the lifting bit as seems to be a bit difficult to lift. Time will tell.

Meine Meinung:
Em ja, also wieder Mal ein absolutes Highligth!

It is a great dinosaur book for the little dinosaur fan that truly wants to know awesome real facts. But the style of the book does make it be more on the younger reading spectrum. The pictures are very colorful and in comparison to other non fiction books they are drawn and not photographed. The Illustrations therefore have room to grow. It is missing some of the more typical signs of a non fiction book such as a table of content or a glossary but the fact that everything in this book is written in an answer style with no background story to hold it together is what gives it the distinction for non-fiction.
I paired this with Dinosaur Rescue
