About the author

Amber Maren has had a varied life for a mere 39-year-old. She has a PhD in biochemistry (from Cambridge, say less), worked as a biology and outdoor education teacher, ran a successful book subscription box and then got tired of selling other people's books and started writing her own. Her day job currently is 'hiking guide', where her focus is on leading women to build confidence in navigation.

Amber loves writing strong female leads, whether they're introverted or extroverted, messy relationships, found family and female friendship.

She lives in the UK with her family and cockapoos, and when she's not writing you'll find her hiking, running, sailing and sea-swimming.
