Love was the only thing either of them were looking for. Except, neither of them knew it. I was given this story for an honest review. The story started a little slow setting the stage but once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The characters were well written and drove me nuts with the "will we won't we" they had me screaming at them to get it together and stop being so stubborn but having said that it made it an enjoyable read as I could see where they were both coming from when having a disagreement, and I like characters to be believable and feisty.I would recommend this story to anyone that loves a military romance. Great book loved it!

This was such a sweet story and I couldn't get enough of these characters. I loved how the characters weren't in there 20's and that they were a bit older. I don't mean that they're OLD or anything like that, they are in their 40's which in my opinion is refreshing. Addison is from a small town in PA where she was hovered over by her entire family and was expected to do what they wanted, well Addison isn't one for that kind of thing . Two years after graduating from high school she moves to New York City with her long time best friend Danny who grew up like she did, after a pretty bad break up with his girlfriend Danny moves down south. Addison is a BA bartender and when she gets a phone call from Danny asking her to come down to help with his club she can't say anything but yes. When Addison gets down there and rests up a bit Danny takes her to the club where she meets the head bouncer who is also a career Marine, Ryan. Funny thing is she already meet him breifly earlier on the beach that day. What kind of things spark up in this book, well that you're going to find out for yourself in this amazing story.

The characters are so well written that it has a feeling of being there, it was so believable. Ryan has made his life with the Marines, and that is all that he knows. When he decides to make something else with his life after he retires from the marines, will he be able to move on? Addison has just seen all the bad issues of life and has become set in her ways and so does not want to change for anything. When Ryan and Addison meet there is attraction, but will they be able to fit into each lives with each other struggles daily?
