USA Today bestselling, multi-award-nominated, and critically-acclaimed author Megan Crane has written more than 150 books and shows no sign of slowing down. She publishes contemporary romance and paranormal romance as Megan Crane (and briefly M.M. Crane) with an extensive backlist of women’s fiction, rom-coms, chick lit, and young adult novels—among other things. She’s also won a large and loyal fanbase as Caitlin Crews with Harlequin Presents, Harlequin Dare, Harlequin Historical, and contemporary cowboy books. And for Midwestern small town coziness, found families, romance, and some paranormal scariness thrown in, Megan partners with Nicole Helm to publish as Hazel Beck.

Megan has a Masters and Ph.D. in English Literature, has taught creative writing classes in places like UCLA Extension’s prestigious Writers’ Program, and is always available to give workshops (or her opinion). She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her comic book artist husband, though, at any given time, she is likely to either be huddled in a coffee shop somewhere or off traveling the world. Preferably both.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by Tule Publishing via BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
3.5 stars.
An intense love story between an amnesiac heroine and a stoic hero, “The Cowboy’s Long Lost Christmas Bride”, by Megan Crane, is about passion and chemistry standing the test of time.
The underlying concept of Ruthie and Dallas being still in love after an eight year separation is powerful: both are passionate and viscerally determined about it.
The process is interesting with Ruthie because of the amnesia; but her body and something deep, intuitive in her remembers their strong connection.
Dallas is an attractive hero, a tough Alpha with a very tender core, a scowler completely smitten with the heroine.
I liked the honesty between the leads and that the feelings and emotions are so raw and authentic.
The icy landscape of Cowboy Point, Montana, and the side characters are interesting
I found there was a lot about the leads’ thoughts and perhaps too much dialogue.
I was expecting the amnesia to have other health implications.

The Cowboy's Long Lost Christmas Bride by Megan Crane
This story follows Dallas. His mom and his father's other wife Peyton and Jenny. The women have formed a bond and want their children to know one another as they share the same father.
Dallas is back to prove to himself and others that he can make a go of things. He's done with the military and has skills now and works to renovate the lighthouse into a B&B. His mothers send a postcard for market research to his wife in Georgia.
Dallas had met Ruth in Georgia at boot camp: Fort Benning, where our son also had his boot camp. They met, fell in love and got married. He went overseas and she got small jobs and also tended to her grandmother who had raised her. She watched her parents die but she was lucky to live. Ruth had been in a car crash with her grandmother and she succumbed to her injuries. The rest of her family just wanted everything they could get their hands on. Ruth wasn't even sure who anybody was. She went through items and found post card and knew she just had to go but she wasn't sure hy.
She shows up on a snowy day at the lighthouse and he knows exactly who she is but doesn't let on that he knows her, at all. She has no clue who he is.
She is still able to knit and crochet and works wonders with yarns and the colors at the local yarn store. He had introduced her to his family years ago but she doesn't remember so he shows her around again.
We find what happened to make him leave... Adult situations.
He brings it up to her when she realizes he knows her and they get into deep discussions. He's not sure it will work because of the past and what she wanted...
Interested take on the whole family. It feels so out of place to me growing with with both parents. Can't fathom what they've had to go through to know their father had two families, sometimes having kids from both women at the same week.
Love the descriptions of the town and festivities. Great holiday read.
Received this review copy from Tule Publishing via Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

I'm really loving this series and it's great to see another member of the extended family meet their match. Again.
Dallas Lisle is the brother restoring the old lighthouse at Cowboy Point and turning it into an Inn. He's finally ready to open up for his first customer and in walks Ruthie, his not quite ex-wife. Only Ruthie was in a car accident a few months ago and she doesn't remember him.
At first, Dallas thinks maybe it's a good thing. He wasn't the husband he should have been back then when he was in the military and she was a military wife, living for the times he came home from deployment. And when they actually had to live together full time after he left the military ... not so good.
Now he has a chance to start all over again and do things right. Or let Ruthie start her new life fresh.
Ruthie came to Cowboy Point to try and solve the problem of a random postcard that turned up at her home that ties in with some old photos and information about Cowboy Point. As far as she knows, neither she or her family have any connection to the small rural town. But the owner of the inn featured on the postcard is a little disturbing for a woman who's had no relationships as far as she recalls.
I love a reunion romance and this has the added touch of will she wont she remember and what will happen if she does.
The rest of his family is well and truly involved and are making Ruthie feel welcome and a part of the family. As if they know her.
The resolution was lovely and I look forward to seeing more in the Family Matters series.

After Dallas Lisle's wife, Ruthie Mathis, left him, the former Army Ranger returned to his hometown of Cowboy Point, Montana. Dallas has spent the past eight years restoring a historical lighthouse into a bed-and-breakfast. When his first guest walks in, Dallas is shocked to see it is Ruthie, and even more surprised that she doesn't know who he is.

The Cowboy's Long Lost Christmas Bride is the third book in Megan Crane's Family Matters Of Cowboy Point series. I liked Dallas and Ruthie's story. This contemporary romance was easy to read, and the setting was beautiful. I always enjoy it when the author includes couples from her previous stories.

I received a free Kindle copy of this book. I volunteered to read it and write a review.

Dallas can't believe that his estranged wife Ruthie is checking into his just open bed and breakfast. It's been eight years since he saw her. What's more unbelievable is that Ruthie doesn't recognize him. Suffering from amnesia, Ruthie doesn't understand why the grumpy innkeeper keeps looking at her so strangely. After losing her grandmother in injuries from a car accident six months ago, Ruthie has impulsively driven from Georgia to this Montana winter wonderland. The town and the inn are even better than she imagined. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is a light charming romance with a little sizzle and steam. I really like how we see Dallas's vulnerability.

An unexpected Christmas reunion.

Dallas Lisle hasn’t seen his wife in eight years. One day, she just happens to show up at his newly opened B&B, Lisle Lighthouse Inn. The problem is, Ruthie doesn’t know who Dallas is or why she received an invitation to the inn’s grand opening. She has amnesia. But when Ruthie remembers the past and why Dallas left her, will it send her running or will she stay and fight for the love they both deserve? This book is a wonderful addition to the series. I was so happy to see Dallas and Ruthie find their way back to each other.

A second chance romance. After an eight separation, Ruthie ends up at Dallas’s B&B ; she has amnesia but her body feels the strong connection. Has a good storyline and I liked the character development as the long separated couple find their way back to each other. Recommend this story as well as the previous books in the series.
Note: The series centered around new found step siblings. Their mothers, who have become best friends, play a hand in their children’s romances.
