This was a fun short erotic alien romance but it left me unsatisfied. I wish it was a full novel with world-building, interesting character development with multiple POV and satisfying narrative. Perhaps book two will show one or more of what I'm looking for. Still, I live in hope.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this one. It was short, at times sweet but also a bit confusing. There were some loose ends that I would have loved to get some answers to.
All in all, read it when you want something short and light in between a break.

Erotic SFR novella about demon-like alien H with wings and human h who was a soldier. Insta-love/mating on H's end and h comes around pretty fast. I enjoyed this one a lot, only wish it was longer. Safe romance.

This was alien porn, not alien smut. There was no storyline. Just a literal burning need to bang the alien responsible for kidnapping you for days. DAYS! And somewhere through all the banging, love was found.

This was very quick and to the point. Jordan is in the military,she and a fellow solider Tex are taken by aliens. They are held captive with Jordan being sent to an auction of sorts. The Vor need mates, they are having trouble producing offspring, mainly female offspring. The king Kadan scents Jordan and taken her to bed immediately. He gives her his bite of ownership and she goes into a mating heat until she gets pregnant. It's predictable, but I liked both the H and h. I wish it was longer though.

Borrowed for free from the Prime Kindle Lending Library. It was a short story. Not bad, would have been better if it was fleshed out into a longer story. I think there definitely was potential for it to be longer.

Несмотря на то, что от этой книжечки, конечно же, ничего особенно ожидать не стоило, истории я ставлю 3,5/5. Начало обещало много - другой мир, повадки другой расы, другие обычаи. Но все быстренько свелось к "Mine!!", после которого герой для меня всю харизму потерял. Этих "Mine!!!" я прочитала достаточное количество. К сожалению, наверное, для автора, мне есть, с чем сравнить.
Тем не менее, героиня показалась интересной, и где-то даже я успела ей посочувствовать.

Good read
I enjoyed this first story. Jordan's adventure was a blazing red hot romp to another world. I hope the following books will be a bit more than the bedroom scenes but hey, they were fun too.

Human female kidnapped and taken to another planet to be a mate to a shifter warrior. Yea, yea. Been there, read that before. This book did not have enough of a story to want to interest me in any other books in the series.

Army soldiers on patrol in Iraq are attacked then saved by aliens. A short sweet story, aliens need women.. the turning into demon like creatures when they shift was a nice touch.

This had so much potential. I really liked the characters and I liked the world that was set up but it wasn't a story. It was just a few scenes about a king claiming his mate and her accepting it. It was only 51 pages, although I didn't realize that when I bought it, so I was really stumped when I got to the end and nothing really happened. No climax.
Jordan was a strong female. She was an Army Lieutenant who had just hit an IED when aliens came down and abducted her and one of her fellow soldiers. She is paraded to a stage in front of a bunch of alien warriors, and they all gape at her and the other abductees until one of them yells mine and starts running towards her. She of course takes off running herself evading capture until her new mate Kadan catches her and claims her with his bite.
I need to stop giving the synopsis because pretty soon there will be nothing left to read, I will have told the whole story. Actually I'm already half way through the book with what I've already said.

Before buying this short story ask yourself: what do I like to read? If the answer is anything like "an other woman sexual fantasy (what she uses to get herself off)", then please rush to get it.
This is what Warrior's Mate is about. There is no plot, hell there's no story, except one long sex scene. Pretty boring, as usual these stories are. You aren't invested at all, obviously.
Add that this is "lora leigh' breed" in space kind of sex, and you get the idea.
The sorry bit is that it's not badly written.
If you are wondering why I bought it: the sample was interesting. We had a woman soldier defying her commander to defend her fellow soldiers.

What to say? It it written well in an enjoyable way. But too short to be anything actually. Jordan is kidnapped from Earth just as she is dying from an accident. King of the Aliens immediately senses she is his mate and etc. etc.
It seemed like a very shortened version of something that could be good. Loose ends all around (hey, what about Tex - her friend that was also abducted as only male).
I assume this is only the (very short) first in a series then. Was a bit miffed about the whole in heat-thing as she had no choice in the matter at all. Don't like instalove either.

Kadan is King of the Vor, warrior shifters in need of women... and when human women who "won't be missed" are brought to his homeworld, Kadan finds in Jordan more than he dared hope for.
This was a quick Kindle Unlimited read, with a little world building, and more time spent focusing on the Vor as a species. I came out of the story curious to read more in this creative universe, but not with a clear feeling of who just has to star in the next book.

I love military heroines and Jordan didn't disappoint! She was a wonderful tough as nails leader who had enough vulnerability to make her relatable. The hero is a little stock standard alpha but he was okay, if a little over sexed. I'm absolutely looking forward to the next book in the series and can't wait to learn more about the Wraiths. They have the potential to steal the show! If it's a little longer, it'll be perfect.

I liked the writing and even the story but I feel like there should be more to it. it just abruptly stops and I found that her emotions changed way too fast for it to be even a little realistic - I know this isn't realistic but, she's a soldier and a fighter, why would after 5 days would she say she loves him? it's just not possible. but the author's writing was really good and it grabbed my attention from the start.

This was a short, sweet, and sexy book. I finished it in about 30 minutes (although I am a speed reader) so don't expect a full blown out story. It's basically smut with a story line but I enjoyed reading it very much and would recommend it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is a new series and the second book isn't out yet, when it is published I will definitely read it.
