And we get to the final book in the Demon Diaries series as it sits right now. Yes I am a little sad, but this one opened a lot of new avenues so I am excited.
Okay so in Deceased Dora you met Lucian, the fallen one, who trips on everything. You learned more about Dora, Kieron, and Pooey. Well in this one it picks up right as Deceased Dora ends and it starts with Kieron, Lucian, and Pooey taking Dora's empty shell of a body through the door in the basement of her father's church. The door is a back way tunnel to Heaven and that is where they hope to find Dora. Although Lucian is already bitching about having to go, Kieron thinks he is up to no good, and I am inclined to believe him with how shady he gets the closer they get to heaven.
Meanwhile Dora is first in Limbo, which is a glorified waiting room, and then she is removed to Angel Boot Camp. Now this is where the snarky and comedy comes in. The Drill Sergeant's name is Fluffers. Get it, white wings, fluffy, and with how pissy he is, the name is oddly fitting. But, honestly would else would you want running Camp Angel.
So while Dora is learning the ins, outs, and nasty bits of Heaven, Lucian, Pooey, and Kieron are running around, trying not to get killed while searching for Dora. Sometimes it feels like a three stooges skit. I run here, you run here, but I just ran there.
This book is like the rest with some humor, some seriousness, and a good bit of crass, snarky behavior. I mean you are in Heaven questioning angels, that has to have some snark to it. If religious, this book actually has some very thoughtful phrases and ideas thrown in with the language and overall comedic nature.

More than paranormal comedy, Divine Dora makes you appreciate life!
DIVINE DORA is what happens after returning to earth from Hell and Dora is killed, and sent to Heaven.
Wow! Claire Chilton has the most vivid ideas about Heaven, Angels, and God! I have never given a great deal of thought to Heaven (or Hell) before Claire's Dora series. Now I am astounded and wondering if this is what it is really like. Dora (even though half demon) is such a good person that she takes on "fixing" Heaven instead of escaping and returning to earth. The underlying friendships and trusts between Dora and friends make the book even better. I could hardly put this down once I started reading! What is unusual, is that a series covering all aspects of life, has made me appreciate life more. That is a pretty awesome result from reading fiction of this nature! While the book is listed as a paranormal comedy, it is so much more!

Yet another wonderful book from my favourite author.This book involves a trip into Heaven..which is certainly not what one might think.Heaven,in this book is certainly rather evil.One of the parts I found hilarious was Dora's attempt to escape from Camp Angel.I'll most definitely reread this book again!

Dora was alive and went to Hell. Now, she is dead and going to Heaven. But, Heaven is not at all what she had pictured. There are drill sergeants, cannibals, zombies, and a lot of unhappy angels. Can she help fix it? And, can she ever go back home? Another tongue in cheek tour de force by Ms. Chilton. Hold on to your seats, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Twist of fate
Interesting, funny and whitty all around the fact that we have free will. With free will comes choices; choices with either consequences or outcomes. Either way the path you lead is the path you end up on. I look forward to the next installment in this witty saga.

I was enthralled with this book, and hope for many more to come from this author. I read this book over and over again, I highly recommend this book to any one who wants some thing very different from other books that you have read thus far.

The first 2 Dora books are hilarious! Sadly, the last 2 books would be better without the gross abuse of expletives. True, cursing is throughout the series; however, by the end, it is just tiresome.
