"LOVED IT! I really enjoyed it! It's such an easy to read, it just flows. Rosa has a great style that pulled me in immediately, I couldn't stop reading which is usually not the case with many books out there. She is very cheeky as well which I enjoy. I really enjoyed the story, and loved the main character Lori. Everyone will be able to relate to her friendship with her best friend, I think we've all been there with that one narcissistic friend! Rosa nailed it with the writing style and the story! I can't wait for her new full length novel 'Natalie's Getting Married.' Bravo!" Sonia Farnsworth (author)
It's Lori's wedding night and husband, Sam, makes a startling revelation just hours after arriving at their dream honeymoon location. A devastated Lori returns to London believing revenge will help her recover from the shocking blow. But Lori does something she will live to regret. Sam's best friend, Matt, is there to offer Lori a shoulder to cry on because Lori's best friend, Julia, disappeared just days before the wedding. This flaky foursome are about to have their relationships stretched to the limits, when honesty is in short supply and bed hopping seems to be the order of the day.

What a complete trainwreck of a novella. All four characters probably had the combined IQ of a carob bar. It was amateurishly written and unbelievable, and I couldn't believe the idiotic things they said. A great "WTF" read if you like that sort of thing.
I found this novella to be a quick and easy read; I was instantly grabbed by the title and wondered what would happen. Lori and her husband Sam are on their honeymoon and Sam announces something to Lori to make her shocked to the core. Lori moves on from her heartbreak in the worse possible way.
I liked the book overall, but found parts of it were rushed and predictable. My favourite character was Matt as he had a quirky personality and was always there for Lori and his best friend Sam. Another character I liked hearing from was Riz, Lori’s room mate and I would like to hear more from her.Rosa Temple is a good writer and I look forward to reading more her.
Thanks goes to the author Rosa and the publishers for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
On Lori's wedding night, her husband, Sam, drops a bombshell that shatters her happiness just as they arrive at their dream honeymoon destination. Heartbroken, Lori returns to London, seeking solace in revenge—but her actions quickly lead to regret. Amid the chaos, Sam’s best friend, Matt, steps in to comfort Lori, especially with her own best friend, Julia, mysteriously vanishing days before the wedding. As emotions flare and trust wavers, the tangled relationships of this close-knit group are pushed to the breaking point, with secrets, lies, and impulsive decisions threatening to unravel everything.
This is a short book, easy to read and easy to follow. However, it’s constant drama—though the beginning eased into the storyline. I didn’t expect so many twists involving friendships, relationships, a marriage falling apart on the first day, and hats off to the main character, Lori, for handling everything happening around her. I think I would have lost my mind in her place, haha. I recommend reading this short book; it’s a true rollercoaster of emotions. The book is wonderfully written, making it easy to connect with the main character and follow the plot. Even though I’ve listed mostly positive things, I have to admit that at times it felt a bit overwhelming—some parts were a little predictable—but it still hooked me enough to finish it in one sitting.
Just not for me I guess. To me it was dull. It's described as a romantic comedy but I'm afraid I didn't find it either humorous or particularly romantic. Thankful it was only a novella. Don't think Rosa Temple is an author I would read again.
Lori and Sam got hitched. This was to be the start of the next chqpter in her life. But it's darkened by infidelity.
So what does she do... She seeks out his best friend. Someone Lori has seen date her friend. Someone she cares about. Someone she respects.
And then it's decision time.
So.... This book has steam which is great. It certainly has drama. And it has an that change of heros. But it flatlined for me when her decision was made about Sam. I wanted more. I wanted to see if they would be a good couple. Wanted an epilogue on the future. Wanted to know how the future looked if she talks to Julia again. The future of seeing Sam as Matt's best friend.
It just needed more. Even to keep this novella short another couple chapters would have been enough to satisfy me. Not the abrupt hello I missed you, now end scene.
Sometimes life is messy, and the truth is not what you think it is. Once life had seemed uncomplicated for Lori as she hung out with her boyfriend Sam, her life-long best friend Julia, and Julia’s boyfriend Matt.. who also happens to be Sam’s best friend. When she least expected it, Lori’s life was flipped upside down. Now she has to work out what she wants and who she wants in her life… I loved this short story and felt for Lori as she struggled to get her life back on track. Despite its length, Sleeping With Your Best Friend managed to squeeze in a good amount of drama, sex, tears and also laughs. Rosa Temple’s work is very readable and I’d definitely recommend this novella.
A fun and unsurprising read. Although only short, I was fully involved in Lori’s story. From her getting married, to the mess that came after it, I couldn’t help but want the best for her! Although a bit childish at times, it didn’t make me think any less of the book and I enjoyed it for what it was - a quick, short and entertaining read! I would love to know what happened afterwards with Lori and Matt though!
Unique and twisted little tale of "comic angst" that occurs with too much closeness and relationships overlap and or inter-mingle! Boundaries are so confused in this foursome, that they apparently subconsciously can't identify which end is up or who loves\belongs to who, resulting compulsion, lies ,penis sharing and staggering betrayal!

Having just read the The slow lane walkers club I was looking for more by the same author and found this free on Amazon. This has a completely different vibe about it and some scenes took me by surprise. I still loved it though and devoured it in a few hours and will continue reading more by this author.
This was a short read but it felt super long. like i was dragging to get through it. The ending was pretty awful to me. Throughout the story it shows a struggle after an event unfolds that ruins a friendship and marriage and they just become friends again at the end which seemed odd to me. i don’t know if what happened was forgivable.
I enjoyed reading this book, as the events led up to San cheating and Matt falling for Lori it made it more exciting to find out what happened in the end...overall this book was lit & crazy.
Was amazing to read took me 3 days only due to being busy!! Every free second I had. I have read this. Like a normal fairy tale ! A Morden day fairy tale ! Cheating , lying and finally love ! Must read !!
This was emotional from beginning to end. I was amazed cat how casual Sam was. Lori was losing her mind. Friends like Julia aren't needed, but we have them. loved the ending! Definitely worth The read.
This was surprisingly good. This is my first time exploring Rosa Temple's work and I must say, I'm impressed. This book is cute and sure there were some confusing actions and scenes but all in all it was an amazing and a truly funny read
Sometimes we tend to ignore the signs that are right in front of our faces. In order to talk ourselves into something we really want. Two sets of friends meet in a bar. When Julia, Lori’s best friend sees two cute guys.
Lori always is Julia’s wing-girl. Julia is the curvy girl all the guys want. Lori is the blonde athletic one. Still gorgeous in her own right just different. Matt and Sam put them in each other’s pockets too.
When Sam asks Lori to marry him it makes things tense for the two women for the first time. But when it came time for the wedding and Jules said she had a new job and wouldn’t be able to attend, she knew something was up.
But to find out from Sam on her honeymoon that her fiancé and best friend slept together and that she supposedly gave her blessing is what he was told was even more devastating. One that she would say it and two that he would believe it without discussing it with her. She felt betrayed by them both.
She can’t think so she returns home from her honeymoon alone and starts rethinking their entire relationship. Realizing that Sam truly is a great salesman. She needed to talk to Matt Sam’s best friend and her best friends ex. To see what he knew.
See how things go from bad to worse. How tables get turned very quickly. I have to say either I was tired or not thinking because I didn’t see this twist coming. Friendships are tested. And who remains standing is who you will need to read about. Good but sad. I would give this: more like 3.5 stars. Free on Amazon. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.
