Hi, I'm Ryan! I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1980 and since then have written several books. You can read my Wikipedia page for more, or check out my author site at RyanNorth.ca!

I'm the author of the webcomic Dinosaur Comics (that's the comic where the pictures don't change but the words do, it's better than it sounds and I've also done crazy things like turn Shakespeare into a choose-your-own-path adventure, write a comic for Marvel about a girl with all the powers of a squirrel, or mess up walking my dog so badly it made the news.

I'm working on more stuff as we speak, hopefully it's good

Cara: Not my favorite issue. There were some awesome moments, but I'm starting to think Squirrel Girl is less of a superhero and more of a problem solver. I don't mean that in a bad way; I still really like the series. 3 stars

This somehow is one of the best comics I'm reading right now. How?! It's just ridiculous, and yet the characters all grow on you. Good ending to this plotline.

She truly is unbeatable. I'm still not sure how this became one of my favorite things ever, but it did. All hail squirrels!

Read in The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Vol. 1: Squirrel Power.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, aka Doreen Green, is a woman with the proportional speed and strength of a squirrel. In addition to her abilities to climb and jump, she's extra nimble and she can talk to squirrels. She uses these awesome abilities to fight crime with her squirrel sidekick, Tippy-Toe.

A quirky superhero. Silly and fun.

#4 in the series. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Galactus battle on the moon.

What a wonderfully quirky and amazing character this Squirrel Girl is. I've only read on book so far, but she goes head-to-head with Galactus, who is surprisingly hip despite his appetite for Earth en Croute. The art style is engaging, the writing is sharp and deeply witty, and the story works really well. Probably the best thing... SG is just a regular, average girl and not some amazingly gorgeous super-model type, which makes her even more attractive as a person. Cheers to the creators and cheers to SG. NUTS!!

Also, check out the awesome 16-bit video game art cover!!

This was very very awesome! It has Galactus, it has nuts and it couldn't stop laughing. I love the way squirrel girl deals with her problems and also that conversation about linguistics. I really love her and this comic! And also, the begging of this fourth issue was very cool!

SG remains the most relentlessly adorable and amusing comic in ages. Love it, and highly recommend to people who like awesome things and people who appreciate super heroes that don't spend all of their time brooding.

Never read this series before, but I had to see this "fight" go down. I really enjoyed North's dialogue. Very cute for what it was being an old school Marvel fan.

This was the best issue yet! Nancy continues to be wonderful, and I love her friendship with Doreen. And Galactus and Squirrel Girl were also super funny together.
