Derek tries to get closer to Alex, while she keeps having past-life dreams in a way that is unfamiliar to her. Derek also remembers his past life but is hesitant to share the information. In that past life, Derek and Nancy were brothers. They were both attracted to the same woman--their widowed stepmother.
