Time Gone By

Rate this book
Jon is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. The fame and fortune he has is like nothing he ever imagined, but he left behind the only man he'd ever loved to achieve it.

Wyatt thought he'd put the past behind him and moved on, focusing on his career as he hides the truth about himself from those who are closest to him. Why should he risk his family and friends with being honest when his only reason left town six years ago?

When fate throws the two men together again, they are forced to confront things from the past that they both don't want to admit, but the passion and desire for each other is stronger than ever, proving that no matter how much time has gone by, the heart knows what it wants.

3 1/2 stars Sweet second chance romance.

After six years apart, Jon returns home to see his terminally sick father, and runs into his former love Wyatt. He finds that none of his feelings have changed, but the question is, is Wyatt now willing to take a chance, and let the world know how they feel about each other?

Whilst it's a sweet story, there isn't enough detail for me to rate it higher. I would have preferred to have been able to experience life back with the couple at the start, and then see more of how life treated them learning to live together in the limelight. And I can't help but feel a little robbed that we never got to listen to his acceptance speech!

This is a sweet story about two childhood sweetheart drifted apart because one is afraid to come out towards his homophobic parents.

It was great to read how he got the courage to choose for the love of his life "You mean more to me than they do, and making you happy matters more to me."

Good and sweet story. I enjoyed the scenes with Wyatt and Jon but I thought something was missing. It has a good and satisfying end but I missed a thing. It wasn't a bad book in fact I really liked it. Maybe it was of the length although it was long enough.
I give 4.5 out of 5 stars. XD

This book was well-written and it was an enjoyable read. For the most part, it was what I expected to be, though there were a few plot hooks thrown in that I wouldn't have expected (I'm looking at you, Wyatt) - and I liked that! I usually prefer my romance a little darker, but I knew going in that I was stepping outside of my comfort zone. This was a nice break from dark and gloomy.

It was well-edited, easy to read, and I finished it in one sitting without my attention wandering. The main reason I've given it a 4 instead of a 5 is that I feel the plot and characters deserved a longer book. Some parts feel rushed, and I would have liked to see them developed more.

This was an okay read. I feel that it was repetitive and went on longer that it should have. That being said, there some enjoyable parts to it which is why it is getting 3 stars.
