Legos are awesome. Star Wars is awesome. Legos and Star Wars together is completely awesome. Add in the exclusive Han Solo medal ceremony minifigure that comes with book and you have a five star book right there. (Side note, if you give this to a kid who has not seen all episodes there are a few spoilers but nothing major)

A fun, well-presented and helpful resource. A bit random and inconsistent in terms of tone/detail/canon in places. The whole concept now seems a little obsolete with the sheer amount of Lego SW minifigures released in subsequent years and the various online resources now available - not that I’m complaining about that boom!

That is very my mint encyclopaedia about Star Wars Lego characters. Probably not all but... hundreds of figures as well, droids (so you can build your own army) and robots. All from Episodes I-VI, clone wars and expanded universe.

William (and Natalie, too) loves the Star Wars Lego movies, and he went through a period of six months or so where they were his favorite shows to request. So, this book was a no-brainer to get for him when I saw it on clearance. Of course, mini figure Han has been disassembled and possibly lost, but was enjoyed immensely in the process. Not fun to look at cover to cover, but we've done it a few times. Much more fun to skip around to the characters we know and read bits and pieces. William particularly liked to point Anikan right before he becomes Vadar and then turn back a few pages to regular Episode III Anikan and say he is all better. This book does point out how unfairly female characters are treated in the film series, but especially by the Lego mini figures. If memory serves me right, there are about five Ewoks, but Padme / Queen Amadala is barely represented.

I think this book is good, because this book show all the star wars character in this book, and tell what the character weapon. and this book also tell which character in which episode. But this book didn't
tell which character is heroes and which character is villains, so, that is the only one thing I didn't like this book.

LEGO® Star Wars Character Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded by Hannah Dolan is a LEGO® Character Encyclopedia of Star Wars Minifigures. My favorite character is the Bounty Hunter because of the shade of green that LEGO® uses on him. The book could have improved by having a glossary. I like LEGO® books. I chose this book because I have read other LEGO® books and it had a LEGO® Minifigure.

My 5 year old and 2 year old can't stop flipping through this book to look at all of the characters. We've taken it out of the library so many times, that you can tell the pages that they like the most. Will need to get them a copy for the house at one point in time.
