Well, my new author streak is still going strong!!!! Because I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I love that feeling of excitement I get when reading a book from new authors. I’ve been told many times from people about books I love. And things in general. I love to love!! And I love shouting to everyone my love about these things!!! So let me just say this right now, I love Lola Darling. Except. That ending. OMG! I mighta cursed. But this is ok. Cause we won’t have to wait much longer for book 2. So I will wait. Impatiently.

We have Juliet. About to start a very prestigious internship with one of my personal favorite hotels in Chicago, The Drake Hotel. Yes, this story is based in my city!!! Another bonus!!! But first, she has to fill in for her roommate and go undercover to basically try to frame a certain man, Dom. Jesus. Dom had me wanting to climb through my kindle and push Juliet out of the way. He’s all alpha. Dominating. Controlling. Rich and a successful business owner. Yes, ladies. Dom is perfection!!!!! So Juliet does some flirting at a hotel bar with him. One thing leads to another and….well. You are just going to have to read to find out. Too many spoilers. And I don’t do those. But trust me, you will want to read this very promising series.

What I loved about Lola’s writing is, the way she described things. The city, the interior of the hotels, the architecture. She did it in a way that made you feel like you were right there, but yet without over doing it. I’m not a fan of over adjectivey (yes. I made that word up) words or descriptions. My motto is “SAY WHAT YOU MEAN!!” And she did this. With still giving us that full feeling of what was being described. And the sexy times. Yeah, this is definitely a panty melting, leg crossing, squirmy wormy type of book.
If you want to take a chance on a new author, then Lola Darling is a jackpot!! 1-click this now!!

The Hotel is a deliciously sexy, cold-shower-inducing read that will have your toes curling involuntarily and leave you begging for more.

Juliet is down to earth, funny and relatable. I want to join her circle of friends! They are awesome. She is also a level-headed young woman, that is, until she meets her mark. One touch and she is hooked – no matter how much she may want to fight it.

Dominic, oh man, Dom! Why couldn’t I have ever met this man in a hotel bar? He is sexy, domineering and stylish. The words that flow from his mouth will melt your panties.

This quick read is just what the doctor ordered. Whether you are needing a break from the hustle and bustle or a dirty date on Friday night—The Hotel will not disappoint.

*This is the First book in the series.*

Fun- Exciting- Playful- Sexy- Angsty
 photo The Hotel 1.jpg_zpsrhizqtgz.jpg

I will say that if you want a quick steamy read......look no farther. Sexy, charming CEO of Rexford Company Dominic Rexford... Sexy, Irresistible, new hotel intern Juliet Evans. They meet in a very unique way and then meet again at work. Their sexual chemistry and attraction for one another creates issues as Juliet is one of the new interns at the hotel. Dominic sets his sights on Juliet and while Juliet knows she shouldn't let him pursue her, she just has a hard time saying No to Dominic.

The story flowed well. Juliet is young and the author wrote her accurate in my eyes. She struggles but how could you resist the hot, sexy, controlling boss who wants you? There is just the right amount of angst that keeps you wanting more. Dominic has a brother who I think will play a major role in the next book. Dominic is the brother who wants to keep the hotel as is and the other brother is the one who wants to change the classic hotel into the new sexy hip kind of hotel for the younger crowd. I think that Juliet may be the bridge to the brothers.

Looking forward to reading part 2!!!

5 'LION TAMER' STARS

Hotel has its own erotic charm, and Juliet and Dominic enjoy their own primal, emotional, animalistic and dirty one-night stand. However, Juliet soon discovers that the domineering sexy as sin male she met and had wild sex with the previous night is her new boss.

Juliet attempts to distance herself from him but Dom relentlessly pursues her. Dom uncovers Juliet’s sexual hot buttons that highly arouse her and soon manages to put her into a lascivious submissive mindset.

 photo 1696769790030c16ccaec97aee3bdc9b 1_zps1vbrck0z.jpg

The author has done a great job showing Juliet’s indecision and feelings of guilt. This story is highly sensual, naughty and hot! Dom becomes obsessed with her and seduces her. Their working relationship is explosive and sex-charged. Juliet tells herself he’s off-limits since he’s her boss, but Dom’s persistent pursuit makes her lose track of the fact that he’s her superior. She knows in the back of her head that maybe that isn’t a good idea, but they are clearly attracted to each other and so she just goes with her gut.

This book is absolutely amazing!! It was even better and so much more than I expected it would be! I positively LOVED IT!!! The ending was cliffhanger-y and what a cliffhanger it was! I need the second installment like, NOW!!!

Ms. Darling did an amazing job with The Hotel, the writing flows and the characters are easy to love. Dom is hot, dark, sexy, and strong with a filthy mouth and a dominant side that will melt your panties… This character is perfect!

4 "He needs to know." Stars

I really enjoyed the start to Lola Darling's debut series. The Hotel introduces us to Juliet Evans and Dominic Rexford who meet under unusual circumstances. Their meet ramps up the sexual tension between the two as Dominic holds nothing back. Juliet, though a little out of her usual element, is fun and flirty right back leading to a very sexy night. The story was a perfect length for a novella and I felt what the author chose to portray really fit the story. There were no frivolous details that didn't fit the story and likewise all details provided intrigued me more.

As the story progresses it seems these two have a lot in common including the sexual tension. Lola Darling's writing really drew me into the story and kept the plot flowing to where I found myself wanting much more Dominic and Juliet. There were a couple times during the well-developed angst created between these two where I had wished Juliet made a different choice and while I don't agree with the choice she still made me believe in her character. It's interesting because I found her to be quite cute when she was frivolous and not inside her own head. I'm very interested to see where the author takes Juliet.

Bottom line is these two were fun. It's a cat and mouse game between a billionaire CEO and quirky college intern that starts off unusually and takes some turn that while I expected them left me excited for more of the story. Some questions are left unanswered about where the plot will go and characters introduced in Part One including the author leaving us hanging a bit at the end. As a lover of all cliff hangers, I thought Ms. Darling ended Part One in a perfect spot. Not too major but she dangled the carrot far enough out of reach that I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for more Dominic and Juliet. I'm excited for the next installment and grateful to have been allowed to read The Hotel. If you're looking for a short, fun, new series with a hot alpha and sweet heroine this is your series!

This novella packs an orgasm (well, more than one, thank fuck)…my kindle is a little singed right now after that fiery show – sweet hell, Lola. Intense, brooding billionaire meets sassy, determined intern: prepare for total domination. oh yes. yes, PLEASE. The Hotel services you in every way imaginable *waggles eyebrows*

Excessive sexual innuendo aside (I know, bear with me here for a second), there’s actually a really good plot here. Juliet is forced to fill in for her bff as Lady Candy for The Target. While Juliet has zero idea why exactly she’s supposed to be bait, she knows that she’s supposed to laugh, flirt, and hopefully create an opportunity for the photographer to grab a shot of a somewhat compromising position. Juliet’s less than enthused about the assignment until she meets The Target and all of her very solid common sense flies out the window.

This story is deliciously filthy and instantly addicting. Lola writes smart characters who know better but who just can’t seem to help themselves. Dom is sexy, mysterious and occasionally vulnerable – just the way I like my billionaires. I adored Juliet’s focus on her job, her penchant for honesty (ok, most of the time) and her ability to form intelligent sentences. I also loved her recognition that there may be something a little bit more to her “relationship” with Dom than she thinks. Or is there? I NEED TO KNOW.

Lola gives us just enough insight into both characters to make me fall for them, a corporate espionage subplot to raise my eyebrows, and that damn investigation to flip my stomach. My mouth was left hanging open at that cliffhanger…I only wish Dom was there to fill it. This serial is serious clit-bait: you won’t be able to stop yourself…this first edition is definitely not enough – book2book2book!!!!

I was so graciously given an ARC copy of Hotel by Lola Darling. This is not a stand alone, book 1 doesn't end in a cliffy but it does leave you wanting to know what happens next.

I didn't know what to expect other than "Hotel sex is the best sex" I'll give this newbie author credit there. Lola tweaked my interest!

I started reading and from chapter one found the story to be engaging and very much life like and the writing style very engaging. I love a solid female lead and Juliette is very likeable, a little sassy with an air of common sense so 10 points there. The alpha male lead Dominic simmers off the pages, he is the right mix of a arrogant confidence, a little mysterious, personal integrity and a lot sexy! More points!!!(However, there is office gossip that hints at a playboy image that could come back to undermine his play for Juliette)

God I love a man in a suit and Lola imparts the image of sexy suit guy perfectly.
"The cuff sits perfectly on his wrist, the peek of a silver cufflink making me squirm on my seat" Swoon!!

The plot is well balanced and has a good mix of sexual tension and hot sex scenes incorporated into and setting where Juliette takes on a hospitality internship with a historical 5 Star Hotel. The only problem is it's not the first time she has met the Hotel owner as she discovers on her very first day of her dream career. The question is are these feelings more than lust or the foundations of something more?

This series is showing real promise and I can't wait to see what Hotel 2 has in store for Juliette and Dominic(July 15). So, if you are looking for a new author to get on board with and new a new BBF I recommend that Hotel is right up there.

Nice work Lola Darling I very much enjoyed Hotel.

I want to say up front that while I give Book #1 in this 3 Book series FOUR stars, I give the series as a whole TWO stars. And because the first book ends abruptly, practically mid-sentence, you are likely to buy Book #2 which, in my opinion, is horrible.

But if you are interested in reading a sexy novella and can walk away when the story drops off into outerspace, then read Book #1. The story is cliche - its' introduction is a combination of the pilot for Gray's Anatomy and the first part of 50 Shades of Gray.

The heroine's roommate is sick so the heroine takes her place and ends up in the sack with a guy who will be her boss at her new dream job which starts the following day. It worth mentioning that that particular rendezvous is sizzling but it's the only sex scene in the book that has much heat. The story that follows is about the heroine's discovery of who he is and her attempt to do well at her dream job while he blatantly tries to get her back in bed. The end.

This isn't a passionate romance and it isn't really erotica. Its just a quick read with a pulse and a little spunk. It is far-fetched but nothing like the 2nd and 3rd books where its complete and utter fairy tale. The story got so unbelievable in Book 2 that I started scolding the pages out loud while I was in the waiting room at the Doctor's office.

****I was given an ARC in return for an honest review****

I'm always wary of reading ARCs from authors that I do not know. Why, you ask? Simply because the thought of not liking the books makes me uncomfortable. Imagine my relief when from the first pages I was completely captivated. The story begins in that oh-so-delightful way where the reader knows something the characters don't but we quickly realize that we seriously don't know jack. Ms. Darling leads us by the tip of our noses through what we are anticipating as a huge catastrophe. The pressure builds, the stress begins, the knots loosen and at the end...well, I wanted to jump through the computer screen and demand book two. Thank the book gods it won't be a long wait!
I loved the main characters. They are opposites in every way yet similar where it's necessary in order to make the story gripping and enticing. The architectural references were especially delightful, teaching me things about Chicago and its early 20th century buildings that make me want to fly over and see for them myself. The plot is expertly revealed piece by agonizing piece and I loved every single minute of it!
This is a definite MUST READ and I CANNOT wait for part 2!!
Thank you, Lola Darling, for trusting me with an advanced copy.

Before I started The Hotel, I didn't really know what to expect, as Lola Darling is an author I hadn't read from before. After reading it, I can't wait for part two!

Juliet is excited to be starting her amazing internship at the Rexford. Upon arriving, she realizes that the CEO of the Rexford is the man she seduced the night before. This throws her off, especially since Dominic hasn't gotten enough of her yet.

This book was hot. It seems I've been reading quite a few boss/employee books recently, and this was a great one. Their 'relationship' is forbidden, and Juliet doesn't just want to be another intern Dominic sleeps with. She also doesn't want to lose her internship.

Juliet is hiding a secret from Dominic that could make her lose her internship. I am anxious to see how this 'secret' is played out and what the repercussions will end up being. Things at the hotel are going downhill all the while Juliet and Dominic's relationship is up in the air.

The ending of part one has me excited to read book two to find out what happens next with Juliet and Dominic! ~ Leah, 5 stars

I honestly can't believe I am going to say it but I actually quite enjoyed this book!

It has the vibe of 50 shades of grey but it is so much better!!! I seriously dislike 50 shades of grey but I loved this one!

I liked that there was a lot of tension throughout the book and the characters were well developed.

Currently starting with the next one. :)

“You can be anyone in a hotel. The moment you walk inside, you can choose to be yourself, or, if you’re daring, play out a fantasy you’ve kept tucked away.”

5 super, sexy, hot stars!!! I loved this book from page one! It was fun and exciting and had some funny parts, which were a complete joy to read!! Bravo Lola!!

“The best sex is hotel sex…”

Welcome to the Rexford, the most luxurious hotel in town. My internship is a dream come true – until I walk in to my first meeting and discover my one-night stand at the head of the boardroom.

Controlling billionaire, Dominic Rexford: CEO - and the man I was secretly hired to seduce.

Now, I just want to keep my head down and stay out of trouble, but Dom has different plans.

He wants a repeat of our wild night together – and he’ll do whatever it takes to get me back between those 700-thread count sheets.

I’m in trouble now…

*Part one of the sexy, scandalous new series*

Juliette is super excited about her upcoming internship at one of the most luxurious and beautiful hotels in Chicago. But that excitement has to be put on the back burner because she’s getting ready to set up a billionaire. Her roommate Cammie is sick and Juliette has volunteered to be the spy for the evening, her job is to basically lure the billionaire and get a photo of him kissing her and the powers to be will take care of the rest. What she didn’t plan on was finding Dominic so damn attractive and super sexy. After the set up is complete she tells him she has to leave. Only he’s not ready to say goodnight. The end up in his hotel room for a night of hot and dirty sex. The next morning she wakes up and realizes that she has 2 hours to be at her new internship at the Rexford hotel. She makes if with minutes to spare, after the introductions the CEO comes in to introduce himself and meet the new interns. When Juliette looks up she sees her one night stand Dominic is standing in front of her. The rest of the book is a total back and forth between the two and while there is some drama there are a lot of funny parts too. Not to mention the super hot sex they have. Seriously I needed a fan!!! This was so much fun to read and I can’t wait for book 2.

"You can be anyone in a hotel. The moment you walk inside, you can choose to be yourself, or, if you're daring, play out a fantasy you've tucked away."

I received an ARC for my honest review.

Put this on your TBR list NOW, HOT Hotel Sex at it's best!

Loved this book, Lola's debut book, The Hotel, is full of hot sex, drama and DOM! A must read!

"The best sex is hotel sex"...Juliet meets Dom in a hotel bar, as she's filling in for her friend Cammie for the night, since Cammie is sick. "We're both playing the same game here. Becoming someone else, just for the night". What Juliet didn't expect was to fall for Dom, nor did she expect to show up for her internship at the Rexford to find out that Dom is the CEO!

Juliet had "one night of carefree, wild sex". She doesn't want to lose her internship at the Rexford, nor does she want people to think she slept with Dom to get her internship. As hard as she tries to distance herself from Dom, she can't stay away, neither can he. She wants "the hot, dirty sex, I want it all."

The Hotel ends in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read more!

Dominic is the majority owner in a family owned hotel business and Juliet is an intern for the same hotel. The funny thing is that they have a fling the night before she is to start her new internship and they both use fake names so the other doesn’t have a clue who they are until they see each other across a room when the interns are being introduced to the owner. I cannot imagine the level of “Holy balls!” feelings that Juliet is feeling in the moment. Dominic is very much an Alpha male and used to getting what he wants. RAWR!
Just for the record, I hate serials. They always make me want to throw things and throw a temper fit because I can’t read all the story at once. With that being said, I really like this book/series and will definitely be waiting with bated breath to read the next installment. There’s nothing sexier than a businessman who goes after what he wants and gets it in the sexiest way possible.

The Hotel is one short, hot, sinfully sexy, devilishly dirty, quick read!
I completely devoured this book in less than 2 hours, once I started I just couldn't stop!! Lola is a new author and this is one hell of an addicting debut!!
Dom is literally THE Dom! What a hot talking, panty melting man he is, he will without doubt be topping the book boyfriend lists soon I'm sure, I'd love a piece!!
Juliet is the perfect heroine, with enough fire and sass to compliment the storyline. It just all works and flows so well and truly is a fantastic read! Make sure you have spare panties! You'll most probably need them!
Can't wait for the next instalment!

Bring on book 2

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of The Hotel by Lola Darling

It's a wonderful read it flows really well and has a twist I didn't see coming ( which is rare for me )
I don't like to read reviews because I love going into a book not knowing anything about it. I don't even read teasers. That's exactly what happened with this book. I knew nothing about it and I loved it,

So having said that I really loved this book and I think you should buy it and read it but if you want to know anything about it I suggest you read someone else's review :D

I really enjoy billionaire romances so no surprise when this appeared in my suggested reads on Amazon, I was all in. Luckly I waited until all 3 books were released before beginning, because I a) hate short reads and b) hate cliffhangers, guess what both are happening right now as I finish The Hotel book 1, just lucky this has been a great read.

Juliet is all prepared to begin her internship at The Rexford , a luxurious hotel in Chicago, so when she arrives for her induction she is met with eyes she will never forget, hands that have been in and all over her and most importantly, that man is her last night's one night stand.

Helping out her best friend who is sick, Juliet heads to meet a man, crack on to him, maybe some hand holding or even a kiss, something for the photographer to get, she never imagined Nathan would have her captivated and eating out of his hand. After her "job" is over, she comes face to face with Nathan once more. offering her one night, and an apparent drink, Juliet, or Julie as she is known to Nathan joins him in his suite for more than just a drink.

Their chemistry is wicked hot, and wanting to be the other woman for one night, Juliet spends an incredibly hot night with Nathan. So her 1st day at Rexford , finds Nathan is not who he said he was too, this Nathan is none other than Dominic Rexford, owner of the hotel.

Trying to hide and backtrack there is no where to go when those eyes meet each other. Finding that Julie is not who she says she is, and Nathan not either, the pair clash in a somewhat amusing dance of avoiding feelings. Dominic always gets what he wants, and no surprise, Juliet is his new toy. But finding out Dom is a playboy known for bedding and dismissing his women, Juliet wants nothing to do with him. Shame someone didn't tell her body and emotions that.

Time will tell, what will Juliet choose, her internship that she worked so hard for or the man she can't deny having massive feelings for? I'm off to find out, see you at the end of book 2.

The Hotel by Lola Darling is the first book in her new series, A Billionaire Seduction. It is a story of an ambitious young woman in love with the history and architecture of Chicago, and especially of The Rexford, the place where she is fortunate enough to be interning.

When a favor done for her cousin has the potential to ruin her future career in the hotel industry she is at a loss. Does she turn to her boss and lover, Dominic Rexford or does she just call it quits. Will he be able to look beyond this or are they ruined forever? Will the corporate spy from the Rexford put Dominic's walls back up?

A well-paced and well-written serial novel that was perfect in it's length and story arc. I am excited for more from this series AND this author.

The better the quality of the hotel, the better the bed ; in my opinion. The Rexford is high end, classic, sophisticated, it can be assured the beds are top class. Clean sheets. Firm mattress.

Juliet, a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet. She is the epitome of the kind of employee who should be in the hospitality industry. Enthusiastic. Energetic. Knowledgeable. Sexy as hell!

How unfortunate for her that her hotel conquest turns out to be Mr Hotel.

"Damn, those are great eyes. The kind that wouldn't break a stare for a moment, not even if he was naked, that chiseled body bearing down on mine, my legs wrapped tight around his waist, my mouth exploring the dip of his collarbone."

I loved the way Juliet loved architecture, tradition and the customer ethic. She deserves lots of those little stars McDonald's staff get only Rexford equivalent- pearls may be. To have such enthusiasm in your job - we all want that, but the thought that it might be wrecked before it starts. Oh dear! Poor girl, I sympathise.

Dominic, confident, cocksure, controlled. I would do him. A man in a shirt and well fitting suit...rawrrrrrr.

"Could he get any more hotter? I think I saw a tendril of smoke coming off that taunting tongue."

Written well. Great sexcapades. Lots and lots of secrets to be uncovered. Intrigue in spades that I want to uncover. I am eager for more.

HOLY KNOCK MY SOCKS OFF!! Lola Darling has done a SUPERB job with her debut novel!

This story was so captivating, right from the very beginning! I love Juliet's fiery personality and Dom's dirty, dirty mouth. Their connection is instantaneous and I could feel it coming off the pages as I read! The story arc is quite fascinating, a little mystery and a lot of intrigue. I have to give it to Ms. Darling...that cliff hanger was geniously placed, despite the fact it left me saying,"WHAT?!?!?! WAIT! I'M NOT DONE YET!!!"

I love a strong storyline and hot, HOT! sex, and Lola delivers in full force!!! I cannot wait to continue this story! FANTASTIC job Ms. Darling!

Love the book hate the pay to read format.

The Hotel by Lola Darling. Where do I begin? This well-trodden boss/intern romance is rehashed here with lashings of sass. The writing was promising and I was down for it, immersed in Juliet's world. Feeling her conflict and then... ugh... just as playboy brother bowls in to disrupt things further, it stops.
Abruptly.
And I'm asked to pay for the next instalment.
This story isn't even over.
Neither is my rant... I flippin' hate cliffhangers.
Authors out there, please don't. Even if it's a free book, please give us a full and developed story. Or risk our rating wrath.

Hot, Hot, Hot!! This is a great, quick and sexy read by a new author and I anxiously await the next book! Sweet Juliet stands in for her friend who is too sick to go to work and she ends up meeting a hot sexy man who knows how to melt the panties right off her body with a quick whisper in her ear. Trouble is brewing at work and Juliet is struggling with focusing on work or the hot man who's on her mind. Can she juggle both? I'm dying to find out what happens in the next book! This is a MUST read and an author you need to add to your one-click list!! :-)
