I am loving this series so much! Cindy Moon is delightfully amusing with her internal monologue, and charming in her awkward social interactions. I'm more emotionally invested in her than is normal for a second issue, but I can't help it. She's adorable! I want to be her friend.
The splendid artwork complements Cindy's world perfectly. I love the colours and lines. Everything is so nice to look at. The story gives us some more background on Cindy as she investigates what happened to her missing family.
If you aren't reading this series yet, you really should be.
I love cindy, and I love the artwork even more. I'm really curious about the cameras and who's behind them. I guess because of the robot thing it's hydra.
And what is the purpose with the blood of Cindy? Are they going to build a clone with the exact powers? Maybe yes...
"Cindy is now back in New York and discovering the city's criminal underworld while still getting used to her newfound freedom."
"Okay. Really starting to get the hang of this. Crazy stuff happens, I punch it. Good times. Easy. Maybe I'm a late-in-life prodigy? Or a-- it's right behind me, isn't it?"
"My old neighborhood. A lot has changed in ten years. Mr. Baker retired. His son runs the corner bodega now. He doesn't even recognize me." :(((((
"Perfect. timing." Right. In this household we'd rather have an evil octopus hydra robot running around than facing the feelings memories bring up😌
"Houdini time." Loool
"Good news, nobody can recognize my silk suit-- Cindy?" her body type!! Also Cindy is such an ex gf name, don't know why but it gives me this energy
Uh oh "Hector. Um... Did you just climb out of a--? Sewer... Yeah. I'm a ninja turtle." LMFAO
"You look great--" AND HERE COMES HIS GIRLFRIEND!! OH BOY
Omg post shower Cindy, so aesthetic "Yeah, S.H.I.E.L.D. is saying it's an old bot. Left over from some failed mission years ago. Went active and fortunately silk was there to take it out. Huh. You okay? [My first love is engaged.] Yeah, Natalie, I'm good. [My first love is engaged.] ... I need to punch something."
"Okay, rally caps. My personal life? Not strong. But I did beat up a hydra tentacle-monster-robot-thingie. So I got that going for me." Looolz
"It was a great blend of elements-- it's funny yet serious, classic yet current (without trying to be too trendy/hip), had enough meat but still an easy read. [...] It has everything that I've come to love about Spider-Man comics with the dry humor and the cliffhanger ending, yet it also offered something new and fresh. [...] The art had that throwback retro feel to it but in such a stylish, modernized polished sort of way. There is just something about it that is indescribable but it really is quite perfect-- it has a tremendous amount of style while maintaining realism and believability. Hats off to the coloring artist for this as well. Not enough can be said about this first issue, I now feel comfortable in saying, this series. Though I'm also looking forward to reading spider Gwen, I really hope that this series isn't overlooked or overshadowed due to the hype surrounding spidergwen -- Everyone has come together to create something really special here and it deserves just as much of the spotlight if not more. Here's hoping my next letter will be in response to silk #100!!! Seriously, to everyone involved in making this come together: great work! Keep it up!" I liked this review, hence recited it, genuine, positive, extensive and detailed, very well expressed:)
"And don't miss our next issue, when silk squares off with Felicia Hardy, The Black Cat!" That is quite a strong goodbye, mr dev

Cindy Moon continues in this issue with more of her amusing inner dialogue and personal worries over her life. As she investigates more into where her family is currently she ends up meeting more dead ends and more questions m. But unfortunately no answers.
She may be getting a bit better at the whole superhero thing but she's still been gone for a long time and is out of touch with some of the things around her. This is especially evident when she runs into and old friend/her first love. It's not exactly the best of reunions.
I wasn't blown away by this issue but still it was very good and I love the art style. I Iook forward to seeing where this series goes.
Even though the writing is basically attempting to be a YA novel and failing rather miserably, I still kinda like it – if only because the art is amazing. For now, I think I'll keep it on the list, but I'm still not completely sold on it.
I am glad the story is moving at a fast pace! You get to see Cindy trying to juggle pleasing two different groups (spoilers) though the art is not nearly as pretty as issue 1, I will just sigh and move on. This plot could really go anywhere which is really exciting
I love Silk so much *.* her story is interesting and Cindy is so .. adorable? I mean, I just want to hug her and be her friend and help her find her family. And the art is so beautiful *.*
I really enjoy the voice of Cindy's inner monologue. It was used to great effect in this issue, both as Silk and in reaction to her personal life kind of crumbling around her. The mystery aspect of her missing family is also very intriguing.
Just found this series today and I'm in love! Cindy Moon is amazing. She's already one of my favourite ever Marvel characters. I can't wait to read more!!
