What would you do to protect your family? Would you stand up to the government?

Sinead O’Malley and her husband, Jameson, fight to reunite their family after the State of Massachusetts tore it apart and ignored their right to due process. Now, as he sits in jail, she has a choice to make. It’s a choice that could lead to losing her eldest daughter forever. Yet, Sinead can no longer watch her daughter, Ruth, deteriorate. She is left with one option, no matter the consequences.

When an unexpected storm cell takes down MedAir 724, Amy Gibbs, RN, finds herself rescued at the hands of an “angel of mercy.” But who is this woman? And who is she, along with her handicapped daughter, hiding from? Amy, too, has a choice to make: help the woman who saved her life, or follow the law.

Braxton can't lay claim to wanting to be a writer all his life, although his mother and seventh grade English teacher were convinced he had what it would take. A bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering led to medical school and a residency in Emergency Medicine. He served for a decade in the U.S. Army Medical Corps with tours such as the Chief, Emergency Medical Services at Fort Campbell, KY, and as a research Flight Surgeon at Fort Rucker, AL. Who had time to write?

By the 1990s, as a civilian, his professional and family life had settled down, somewhat, and his mother once again took up her mantra, "Write a book. You're a good writer." In 1997, a Valentine's Day writing contest convinced him that maybe he could write fiction. He spent the next fifteen years learning the craft of writing.
Now, twenty-plus years after that first hesitant start, he has sixteen novels published, as well as non-fiction books and a children’s book, and can't find enough time to write.

As a Christian, he writes "true-life" Christian fiction (suspense and thrillers) that many call "cutting edge," as he's not afraid to take on such issues as human trafficking, racism, and more. His characters are real-life as well, with all the flaws and blemishes real people have. As such, his books are never likely to gain acceptance by the Christian Bookseller Association. But then, he never intended to tell stories just to the choir.

We find non stop, nail biting action in Braxton De Garmo's latest medical thriller " Wrongfully Removed".
This is book four of the Med Air series and we find Amy Gibbs RN in trouble again. There are always those in the emergency nursing field that seems to attract the worse trauma and mayhem and Amy seems to be one.
She goes down in Med Air 724 and is rescued by an "angel of mercy "and is not what she seems.
The book deals with Amy's recovery and the discovery of a woman and her child fleeing from the law because her child was wrongfully removed from her home by Child Services because her parents sought a second medical opinion of her medical diagnosis.
Braxton De Garmo gives us an in depth look into this subject that makes headlines today.
I look forward to more action and thoughtful dialog in his next book.
I am honored to have received an advance copy and am giving my honest opinion.
Thanks again for the opportunity to get another shot of

Another excellent book in the series. I am really enjoying getting to know these characters further in each book. This book is an expose on how child protective services can abuse their authority. It's very interesting and very scary to think about!

This series is fascinating. It is bringing a lot of interesting issues to my attention, specifically in this book the issue of Medical Kidnapping. The suspense is less intense in this book than he previous ones but certainly not absent. I am beginning to agree with the assessment of the character, Lynch, about his friend (the character, Amy) that she is a magnet for trouble.

I cannot get enough of this series. I thought I would stop and #4 and read something else, but now I cannot wait to start #5.

This series, especially this one #4, touched on something I was not aware of as much as I should be. What a shocker. Medical kidnapping. Great read and lots of twists and edge of your seat drama. On to #5.. Recommend.

"Wrongfully Removed"is the 4th book in the(MedAir Series) by Braxton DeGarmo, and like the other three in the series the reader is kept turning the pages to get to the end and when you get there, you want to keep reading.
In " Wrongfully Removed" Braxton DeGarmo tackles the subject of medically kidnapping by the state because two doctors disagree on the best treatments for Ruth. A subject that he took from a real happening in the news.
This story continues the story line and the characters that started in the first book “Looks that Deceive”, as the other two books with additional characters introduced but that is what makes reading these books so exciting! In this story, Amy is injured when Med Air 724 plane is forced down because of a storm and is rescued by a woman with a child that is in hiding. But what is this woman hiding from and why?
This story has the reader experiencing many emotions, such as fear, and anger and then sadness and love and disgust and then disbelief. All the elements of a great story.
The setting is set in a state not far from where this reader lives and some of the places mentioned I have been to. When that happens in a story that you are reading, it makes the story more believable as well as exciting.
This book has an unexpected ending, and I have to say it was both great and not so great, I encourage you to read "Wrongfully Removed" to find out why I say this. I must warn you that these books are not your typical feel good love story even though it has a love story within the pages. I feel that you don't have to read the other three books in the series to understand " Wrongfully Removed" but I certainly recommend that you do because all four just build on each one.
"Wrongfully Removed" is a story that shows that the government wants to be in control of everything and that everyone that a person who is supposed to have best intentions in their line of work doesn't always. "Wrongfully Removed" shows that sometimes we just have to take things in our own hands and not always follow the easy path. This story shows that love will overcome the odds but it takes courage and determination as Jameson and Sinead O’Malley and their daughter Ruth would tell you if they could tell you their story in their own words.
The author, Braxton DeGarmo has told me that several more books in the series are planned and I say "Great".
I am sure you can tell I am giving "Wrongfully Removed" five stars.
I was given a copy of "Wrongfully Removed" by the author for my honest review!

I had the honor to review this book for the author. This book will have you on the edge of your seat. The way Sinead and Ruth came into Amy's life is amazing. Sinead,Ruth and Jameson's story is not only sad it's scary. Watching the events in this book and the case worker will have you scratching your head wondering how these things can be happening. Braxton DeGarmo is a amazing author.

Wow! What an awesome book! I love how Braxton writes about important issues that often get "swept under the rug". His books are very well written and keeps me on the edge of my seat. I have read most of Braxton's books and they are all very good. I plan on reading them all! I was given a copy of this book to read and to write an honest review.

This a great series! I've enjoyed every book and I hope Mr. DeGarmo is busy working on book 5. If you like action packed drama filled with mystery and laced with a little romance, I highly suggest starting this series.
