**Until It's Not is a Short Story intended to compliment the novel With Whom We Spend Our Lives** It's been five years since I've seen him. Five years of growing up and growing apart. But every second we've spent separated by time and distance will disappear the second I see him. The second I feel his touch.
He's mine. I'm his. And nothing and no one will ever be able to change that.
I may be young. And I may not know much of anything...but I know him, and therefor I know at least one thing for Love is EVERYTHING in this life.
Dog Lover who likes her pastries full of cream and sugar...oh...and I write some ;-)
Aside from being an author, I am also a mom to a beautiful little girl. I tell everyone I named her after my great-grandmother (because that's the mature answer), but really, I named her after my favorite princess - just so happens I got lucky and they had the same name...If I wasn't a writer, I would work on a horse ranch - I'm an animal lover (in addition to dogs, horses are at the top of my list). I wear flip-flops pretty much everywhere I go. I would rather stay awake until 5 am than get up at 5 am (years of bar tending have left their mark), if I can, I'm going to the beach AND I will always be nice to people who bring me chocolate...or coffee...if you bring me both, I'll probably love you forever.
I write the way I live, following the story wherever it may lead, always ready to start the next one. This is clearly reflected in my body of work which to date includes everything from Children's Lit to Thrillers. I happily reside in sunny Florida (for now) with my daughter and three dogs.
This is a short story which leads up to the book With Whom We Spend Our Lives and introduces us to Miles and Gina.
Although 5 years have separated Gina and Miles there love has not diminished at all but when Miles reveals how his life has changed Gina must let him go.
This story was great and now I need to know what happens in the next book. My heart was breaking for both Miles and Gina and what has come between them and I really hope they are able to overcome everything to be together.
CAUGHT UP IN A LOVE TRIANGLE I loved this story that will lead up to WITH WHOM WE SPEND OUR LIVES. This is a short, page turning story that will suck you in and make you want more, so much more. Miles Mackenzie and Regina Richards have been separated for five long years, but the love is still there. In five years of complete separation, things happen that will greatly affect them now. While moving on, can you reach back into your past and still find the love? Lives change, situations change, but the heart holds on. This story leaves you needing to know more, it's a pleasant tease of more to come with witty dialog and heartwarming characters.
Although this is a short story, it felt like anything but. All of my senses were on high alert, in what I could only describe as a beautiful struggle. I can tell that Author K.S. Thomas put so much heart into this short story, which translated into her characters and storyline. You could actually feel the deep, all encompassing love between Miles and Regina, a love that has endured, no matter how long the time and how far the distance. 'Until it's Not' reminds you that there is no such thing as a simple love story, that it is, in fact, quite complex. I'm looking forward to reading the companion novel, 'With Whom we Spend our Lives,' to see if love can truly find a way.
This is a fantastic short story by K.S. Thomas that shows us that love doesn't stop even when two people are separated by distance. I loved Miles, he was a totally stand-up kind of guy, and completely dreamy based off his actions alone. While this short story didn't have the typical ending you'd expect, no worries, because you can find out what happens years down the road to Gina and Miles in With Whom We Spend Our Lives.
I love Gina and Miles story. It's heartbreaking but good. I received a copy of the book for my honest review and I absolutely loved it. Love even after years apart never dies. Such a great story
