Not many pages but it was still okay. What made me laugh the most was page 8. It says:

In January 1974, Bundy distanced himself from Brooks, refusing to
reply to her texts and calls despite having promised to marry her.

I didn't know that you could text replies on a phone in 1974 ----- cellphones weren't even out. Now that made me fall out laughing that I had to reread it to make sure I read it right. What was this author (or whoever) thinking? Cellphone in 1974 ---- oh please.

I have always been a lover of true crime and to find a free true crime book on iBooks was exciting. However it turned out to be a major disappointment. The book was very short with no backstory or details on each killer or victims. The author appears to make jokes as to why victims died which left a sour taste in my mouth. While I did learn about new serial killers that I want to read up on more, I do not think this book is worth downloading or reading.

The stories themselves were very good and I enjoyed the writing style.

However, there were many grammar / spelling errors throughout which ruined it a bit for me.

Also, some of the stories kept jumping from different years (e.g. talking about 1980 to 1990 then to 1987) rather than being chronological which I simply prefer.

Serial Killers: True Crime Stories of the Most Vicious Serial Killers in History by Brody Clayton I received a free copy of Serial Killers: True Crime Stories of the Most Vicious Serial Killers in History: Serial Killers Profiles And Stories by Brody Clayton in an Amazon promotion.I gave this brutal book almost three stars. There were numerous grammatical errors. This frightening story details how "Hundreds of people have tried to study the minds of these psychopaths in an attempt to understand what fuelled their hatred against their victims. The various reasons that motivate murderers to commit such heinous crimes range from the sense of power to some trauma that they went through as a child.""What is truly scary is that a few of them feel nothing; hate crimes we can, perhaps understand--it means they exhibit some emotion."But what of those who truly feel nothing, no hate, no pity but only a sadistic sense of satisfaction at having accomplished something? What could have broken them so much that they are now only empty shells who only mar & scar everything they come into contact with?"The most frightening thing about psychopathic killers is their emptiness of emotion. Psychiatrics have been unable to determine what makes them kill other than the desire to hold the power of life & death in their hands. The brutal serial killers described in this book are: Ted Bundy across the United States, Manual Octavio Bermudez in Columbia, Peter Sutcliffe the Yorkshire Ripper in Britain, Robert Pickton in British Columbia in Canada, The Lainz Angels of Death (four nurses aides) in Austria, & Sergey Golovkin in Moscow, the Soviet Union.
