About the author

Sick of the slogging rat-race of her 9-5 job, Pandora Pine put pen to paper (literally!) to make her ambition of becoming a romance novelist a reality. She cut her teeth in the dog-eat-dog world of fanfiction, still dreaming of the day when she would be a published author. She lives in Massachusetts with her blabbermouth muse who’ s a fan of middle of the night plot twists.

In her spare time, Pandora fancies herself an amateur nature photographer. She enjoys mucking around in swamps, hiking through the woods and crawling around on her hands and knees in her backyard seeking out the perfect shot. Pandora is a fan of roadside seafood shacks and always thinks Mexican food is a good idea at the time.

Some of Pandora’s favorite things are chocolate, writing longhand with purple pens and handsome men falling in love with each other.

Love Jude and Cope

Salem's second favourite cold case detective and psychic couple (after Ronan and Tennyson, naturally, but it's a close run these days!) are back in the spotlight. And the threat this time is a combination of a fierce foe and a political situation relating to the cold case unit's funding. These attacks on two fronts present possibly the most jeopardy the extended family has faced in quite a while...phew!!

Why do I keep reading this series? It frustrates the hell out of me. The stories are okay, but I can't stand the way she treats her side characters. Where is this supposed found family that included all of the Carsons? Why is Truman no longer Ronan's best friend, despite what Ten saw of their relationship ages ago? Greeley was doing the cold case squad, and then subsequently completely disappeared. I could go on and on in this same vein.

This story turned intense really fast. Jonas was such a malevolent creep and the final confrontation with him was horrifying and I was stunned when Jude was shot and I was afraid that he would die. I love these characters and was relieved that Jude did survive and I can't wait for the next story.

Exciting Page Turner

Another adventure for the gang we think of as family after all these years. They were up against a really powerful force in this story someone who put them all in danger but little Everly is becoming a force to be reckoned with and thank god for Cope’s background in powerful magic!

Well, I figured this one out VERY quickly, and I am still not sure how I feel about the dual storyline, although, I understand why it was written this way. Anywhooo, as always, the good guys win, the bad guys did NOT, and I was entertained. That makes this a good read!!!
