Rate this book
If you could have a computer chip implanted in your head that would make your entire life better would you consider doing it? This book teaches a practice called Active Thinking. Think of it as a sub-routine for your mind. It is like a little application that you download into your head. It enables a way of thinking moment to moment that brings great benefits to a person who practices it. The idea came from my experience working on problems related to ADD and Information Overload. It applies to everyone who is struggling to avoid chaos in their lives created by the Information and Emotional Overload we experience in the 21st Century. This is the Dawn of The Information Age. Our minds have not yet evolved for this next step of human existenceThis book is going to quickly introduce the practice to you. You will be asked to start doing Active Thinking right away. The book will continue explaining how to use the practice. One description of AT could be ‘The Art of not thinking other thoughts’. Active Thinking is a mental process to control your focus. Impulse disorders interrupt your ability to start and complete tasks and lead to procrastination, wasted time and frustration. You know the problem. Practice Active Thinking and your life will become more productive and orderly immediately, with or without medication. You have tried self-control, lists, tasks, calendars, productivity books and all the other tools. They have their place but can only be useful if you control the moment when you become distracted.
