This was supposed to be heaven on Earth. I finally got the one thing in the world I desperately wanted--my brilliant but damaged ex-boss, Jude Lazarus. He has finally dropped the games and opened his heart to me completely. But instead my life has become a living hell. Suddenly everything is on the line. The decision is mine. Which am I willing to sacrifice: my love or my life?
I'm a city girl who writes fun, sexy, entertaining novellas meant to take your mind off your troubles for a while. I have an adorable husband, a fish named Frank, and a fat black cat with codependency issues.
I really like this storyline and the characters in total. Separately, they wouldn't work together but they all work really well together. I like it to the point that I'm mad that I have to wait for the 5th and final book to come out. I was given the first 4 books for review and I will definitely be picking the 5th up when it comes out. I love how spunky Michaela is. She ran away from home and lived on the streets, put herself through college and is working on getting a job for architecture. She takes the old saying of "if you get knocked down, get right back up" to a whole new level. I'm not sure how I feel about Jude. Jude runs a very successful architecture firm. He is insanely hot and successful definitely but he seems conflicted to say the least.
I have tried to type out more to my review but every time I do, I give spoilers and don't even mean to so I will leave it at this. Serial books are the bane of my existence for this exact reason; that they are never all out when I start to read a series. LOL One thing about them is that they always keep me coming back which is the point of them. I highly recommend getting these books but wait until the 5th book comes out so you don't go crazy like I do.
Woah! The books picks up right where the last one left off, with the person that was knocking on the door. It definitely was NOT whom I was expecting to see at the door or in the apartment. Now what can Mickey do? How does she stay sane? Safe? Living her life? Someone else pops up in her world, having seen Pam in the previous book, things go down hill very quickly for Mickey at work, with a new client there, embarrassing her, destroying her, or trying to. What happens with Lazarus, with Mickey, with Celestina's family? If I thought the ending left everything hanging, this one you're just like, "OH S**T!" at the end. Book five in this series should complete the series. Will Lazarus and Mickey ever be able to be together? Will we know what happened to Mickey at the end of book four in book five?
RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin With M.Brennan.
Things are really heating up in this latest installment of The Position series. Being hailed as the next "wunderkind" in the architecture world, Mickey is a little overwhelmed with all of the attention that she's getting. Especially when it attracts people from her past that were better left behind.
I feel bad for her because it seems like every time she has a moment of happiness, something negative comes to snatch it away. I just want her to realize that she deserves to live a happy life too. And I'm dying for the last installment of The Position series.
Oh wow how I love these books. They are filled with such twist and turns and ALWAYS end on a cliff hanger.
Finally Mickey and Jude realize they both love each other, but they can't be together. It's so heart breaking and I found myself the whole time hoping SOMETHING would happen so they could get together.
Mickey's mom returns and just throws her life that she worked so hard at up in the air. Seriously I loved these books and can't wait for the next one.
I liked this book best of all four! I'm hoping on getting the fifth book really soon. Beacause I need a happy ending really soon I'm sure that there will be a lot of suspence like in this last book.
But I have to tell you that I didn't expect Mickey's mom to show up in the story. I'm thinking about reading more by Izzy Mason, but I'm hoping on more romantic books.
Don't get me wrong, these books are romantic, but more in the 'We can't love each other' kind of way... And what's up with Lazarus' romance? Will he end it, how will he save his brother and save his relationship?
Again I'm left wanting more, in this book we have a lot of action, suspense. I'm angry cause Jude and Mickey belong together but some bullsh*** mafia crap is trying keep them apart, and somethings happen and I get pissed at Jude. Now I'm biting my nails waiting for book 5. Izzy does an amazing job with writing so you feel apart of the story. Amazing read.
Celestina, why do you have to be on the way of Mickey's and Lazarus'love affair? Why? I so love that Lazarus has finally fallen in love with Mickey but why do you have to be in the way? And Mickey's mother? I feel no sympathy for her. Lazarus should've put her in an institution. He shouldn't have gave her a deal that he'll give her financial support.
