I love Bianca James, so I was excited when I saw she had written a paranormal romance, one of my favourite genres. I've read lots of shifter books before, but never a dragon and wow, this was awesome. I absolutely loved the main characters and their story, there's some ups and downs and some really beautiful romance. Declan is to die for, what a dream guy, and the fact he can become a protecting dragon is a huge turn on. There's so many elements in this book and it's so well written that you won't be able to stop once you start. I loved it!!!

Good Book

I liked this story. It was a first read for me with this author. There was some violence and sexual content. Declan and Olivia were well developed during this story. I don't know if this is part of a series but I would like to read more about them plus his sparring partner.

Romantic Delight

I wasn't quite sure if I was going to like this book. Well, I absolutely loved the storyline. The characters were deliciously interesting and sexy. What a delightful romance. I actually would like to know what happens next. I really think this story needs to continue.

This isn't a genre I usually read however, being a fan of Bianca James I read it and was pleasantly surprised. The story had what I love from Bianca and that's sizzling love scenes but it also had a storyline that was original and fun to read. Well done!

Very nice read

Unexpected pleasure !! Super hot Dragon shifter, Declan, has found a potential mate in Olivia. She's had it with men who use her and leave her. Declan has to figure out a way to change her mind. Good characters, interesting plot line, and hot sex make this short story worthwhile.

Not a novel. A short story.

Well...hmmm. I think the author has potential. It reads a bit rough; the story line and the dialogue towards the ends feels cheesy. I have to say that I really didn't like the heroine, at all. She's supposed to be snarky, strong and independent, but unfortunately she just comes across as a b*%$ch. Nothing about Olivia is endearing. Declan starts out intriguing enough, but soon he begins to sound like a highschool boy with his first crush. It was weird. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from reading this one and I might even try another of the author's newer works, but this one didn't work for me.

The plot was different, to a point. The writing was good and it kept me interested in seeing how the story played out... The story has mix of twists with some predictability. The ending I felt that there was more that could be told. Yeah it was a somewhat HEA but it seemed there was more that could be told.

Kindle Unlimited book. He's a dragon shifter protecting the area. She's an overworked waitress who has sworn off men. He's just her type and staying away from him may be too much to handle! No cliffhanger.
