This is the fourth audiobook in Elizabeth Knox’s dark, western MC romance series, Shotgun Saints MC. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple and functions as a standalone with an interconnected storyline. I completely adore this series! Check the triggers, because there are some darker themes. But despite that, I always seem to leave each audiobook with a full heart. I think it might have something to do with those dangerously sexy, overprotective, and deliciously possessive cowboys that make up the Shotgun Saints MC. These men don’t love easily, but they love hard… and they do it oh, so well. They’re definitely the “burn down the world for you” type of man. And their women have no complaints about it. This particular story features Spur, an ex-bull rider, and Dakota, a champion barrel racer and the MC President’s daughter. They first saw each other at the MC’s clubhouse when Spur was twenty-seven, and Dakota was just seventeen. But sparks flew between them anyway. However, due to the age difference and the fact that Dakota was a minor and the Prez’s daughter, Spur put her firmly in the “strictly off-limits” category and did everything he could to avoid her for the next eight years in order to avoid temptation. But Dakota has decided she’s tired of waiting and makes her move on him in a very public, very hard-to-back-out-of way by making a bet with him in front of the entire MC, including her father. But just as they’re starting to find their way to each other, they find out Dakota has a stalker—one that’s way too close for comfort. The sizzling chemistry between these two complicated by Dakota’s father being the MC President and the escalating threats from her stalker keep this story utterly compelling from start to finish. The outstanding duet-style narration from Mollie Stark and Michael Gallagher further elevates this already-incredible story to “absolutely can’t miss” territory as their amazingly authentic and emotive performances combine in all the best ways to bring this story to life.

OMG… I DEVOURED this audiobook! 😮‍💨🔥
Spur and Dakota had me hooked from the start. They barely had a moment together before but that connection?…..
OH, IT WAS THERE. 👀🔥
You could feel the attraction simmering underneath every interaction, and watching them try to fight what was clearly happening between them had me absolutely INVESTED.
The chemistry? 🔥

The pining? DELICIOUS.

The flirting? YES PLEASE.

The denial? Girl… we ALL know where this is going. 😂
And honestly, I loved how natural their connection felt. The age gap just WORKED for these two, and I especially loved that everyone around them seemed to be rooting for them too.
Like, nobody needed to convince me.
I was already in the front row with popcorn. 🍿😂
And when it came to the narration… Mollie Stark & Michael Gallagher absolutely DELIVERED. 🎧🔥
The emotion, the tension, the chemistry — they brought this story to LIFE, and I could not stop listening.

Just when I thought I knew who my favorite might be in this series, Spur changes the game! This man is perfectly imperfect with his quiet restraint and unwavering loyalty. However, once this man gave in to his woman it matched the phrase “World Series with fireworks kind of love.” Then there’s the infamous Dakota, who is determined, bratty, and fearless! She is definitely a new FMC favorite this year. I highly recommend this book and the entire series! Duet narration by Mollie Stark and Michael Gallagher was simply divine! The chemistry between these two was magnetic and real. Every word was spoken with the perfect amount of emotion and conviction. I loved Mollie’s husky voice and her portrayal of Dakota’s sassy attitude. Michael was certainly made for a cowboy romance with his southern drawl and hints of Matthew McConaughey in his voice! Music to my ears on all accounts with these two! Thank you Blue Nose Audio and Elizabeth Knox for this amazing ALC opportunity!

Spur is book #4 in the Shotgun Saints MC series. I absolutely love this series! A motorcycle club full of cowboys...sign me up! Spur and Dakota have known each other for years, but she's the daughter of the Prez and completely off limits. Spur was a bull rider and Dakota is a barrel racer which gives them plenty of opportunities to cross paths. And is their chemistry off the charts! So much to love with this one - forbidden romance, age gap, forced proximity, possessive MMC and some stalker suspense/intrigue to liven it up a little more!!

The duet narration of Mollie Stark and Michael Gallagher was even better than expected. I love these two narrators and they didn't disappoint. All the pining, flirting, denial...delicious. 5/5 stars!!🌟

OMG. I loved this book so much. I was so invested in Spur and Dakota's story. While they shared nothing but a look and a brief conversation in the beginning, I already felt a connection between the two. If you really want to feel the strong, emotional connection, you will want to grab the ALC. Performed in duet by Mollie Stark & Michael Gallagher.

This story is age gap done right. It just felt right with Dakota and Spur. A big part is because everyone else was rooting for them to be together as well. It was like nothing had been lost while Dakota was gone. If anything the feelings grew stronger. This cowgirl got her rough and tumble man!

I love an MC romance but when you add in cowboys I’m a puddle. Dakota is a barrel racer and the MC Prez’s daughter. Spur has had eyes for her since he was patched in but she’s off limits. When Dakota decides she’s not gonna wait she make him an offer he can’t refuse. Add in someone stalking Dakota and you are ready for this audio book. Mollie Stark & Michael Gallagher gave an amazing performance as the yearning Spur and Dakota.

I’ve really enjoyed this MC! The stories are not long listens so they jump right in. Spur is about you guessed it lol Spur and Dakota. This is an age gap, friends daughter or in this case Prez’ daughter. Spur tries he really does but ultimately this relationship was destined to be. No outrunning it. I enjoyed it. The narrators were awesome. Michael Gallagher never disappoints.
