i love the series

I’m in live love with this series. I would like more in depth detail about abilities and fights. Sometimes I feel like I’m watching Naruto and here are the filler episodes. I waited a year for this and it mainly focused on the marriage, rushed through his years at the posting, which I appreciated but it could’ve been further condensed. We know nothing about death magic or light magic. I love that you’re introducing characters and lands, explaining the interactions and how’s and why’s but there can be more. Love the series but give us more action! I love the series but go bigger! I believe in you!

Another filler book, but this one at least is way better than the last book (which was also filler). I was sort of afraid this was going to happen, when they were all talking about the "ten years doing this," "five years doing this" that the author would have to start skipping huge swaths of time to get to anything remotely interesting. Overall, some interesting things happened, but really it was just checking in with some characters and blowing through years of nothing happening so we could get to something more interesting.

Sighs....

Ok he either needs to start writing longer books. Or putting out more every year. But I'm sure everyone thinks the same about thier favorite series he writes so...

And yes this is a good book. Though it would have been nice. To see what the other characters were doing during this time as well.

Not as adventurous as previous books.

2/3 of this book is Petit (the main character) wrangling his harem.
Another quarter is political intrigue.
With whatever is left, there's a few pages of action, but not much.
I did not like this installment nearly as much as the books based in Kroga, but the next book seems like it may be more exciting.

it’s time to end the series

We’re 13 books and we still have no idea where we’re going and we say we have centuries before we can do anything. If that’s the case, we need a time warp because you’re wasting your God-given talent on this series.

Interesting

As usual almost impossible to put down and moves the story forward well. The next book has so much potential for progression and I look forward to reading it. I recommend reading this.

The Books Are Good....But

The romance is too much of the main focus. It takes up too much of the actual content. This is a reoccurring issue I forsee happening in the next book. My rating remains a solid 3 stars.
