Most folks in Sunset say Willie Morse would be better off dead. Maybe they’re right. With his dreams for the future taken from him, what reason is there for him to live?

Hattie Mae Richards, however, is determined to save him. A nursing student, it’s her job to care for Willie after a serious injury, but she soon finds herself caring more than she should.

She believes in him and insists on seeing the good in him. In exchange, Willie gives her the one thing she’s never known before – a feeling that her life matters. As their friendship grows, he brings out a new spirit of adventure within her, daring her to live a life without regret.

But when their reckless passion leads to trouble and Hattie turns away, Willie must learn to forgive his past in order to create a future for them both.

Does Hattie listen to her friend, her boss, and his wife or does she listen to her heart when it comes to Willie. Has he reformed? Will she have regrets if she follows her heart? Hattie helps Dr. Kellerman patch up Willie after he is hit by a freight wagon. She believes he is a good person who needs support even though others don't. Willie begins to try to be a better man because Hattie believes in him. He has an up hill climb. Can he do it with No Regrets? Can Hattie change her life with No Regrets and live with the consequences? Christina Cole's No Regrets delves into the lives of people who have second chances, but seem to warn against giving others that second chance. Will Hattie and Willie have those second chances without regrets or let time fly by, do nothing and live with regrets.
In this book you travel through many emotions, but in the end I had No Regrets reading it. I would recommend it as a good historical fiction.

I enjoyed this book. How Willie had lost all courage in life, and how Hattie gave Willie courage. When Hattie got pregnant Willie tried to get her to marry him, she refused and the doctor and his wife helped her to leave after the other women wouldn't let her help. After several months looking, Willie received a letter from California, Willie went to get her and brought her home Hattie wanted get home to have her baby, but the baby had other ideas Thankful Willie met the doctor and his wife , so they helped. Hattie . then 6 months latter Willie's dream came true and he got his license to practice law

What do you do with a "bad boy" character in a romance series? Of all the characters in my fictional town of Sunset, Willie Morse is probably the least-liked.

So, I found him a lovely young woman to fall in love with. I also put him through a lot and made him struggle to prove he was worthy of Hattie's affections.

I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

~~~~~~~~~~Kelli's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
No Regrets is the fourth book in the Sunset Series. I have not read the prior three and was able to follow along with no problems. I enjoyed this historical romance very much. Hattie is a young lady that would like to pursue a job in nursing. She can't afford to go to one of those new nursing colleges, but the doctor that opened a hospital in her down is willing to train her. Willie is a down on his luck young man. His life has been a living hell ever since his father had his fall from grace. Willie hit rock bottom. He lost the will to live and jumped in front of a horse and buggy cart. He was rushed into surgery where nurse in training Hallie helped to take care of him. Hallie sees the good in everyone. Can she help Willie to see that ever he can be redeemed?
