Decent starting. And the romance isn't too bad either.

The author doesn't like to waste time. Although a bit small for a novel, every page is full of plot development. And a bit pricey too.

Where he was from slavery was considered inherently evil."

Good good...

Then again he was no longer on earth and there was little he could do to change the policies of the world he was in at the moment. “If I got a slave I could treat it like family,”

...

Nothing I like better than Americans opining on the merits of slavery.

This book is a great start to the main story, Overall it kept me hooked.
Only negative thing is the Author thinks his story is worth more then it is, Meaning he has the books way overpriced. He has though condensed the very (150 pages) short books into 2. 1-5 and 6-10. So in reality he should have just renamed them book 1 and book 2. As for price on those 2 books, 10$ for 450 odd pages each. The author is asking slightly more then twice the normal going rate for a full length novel (e-published). And thats for the E-Reader version. So yea.. while the story is nice and all..I don't recommend buying until the price drops. Its just not worth paying 20$ for 2 e-published books. Let alone 3$ per short volume. Now if that was the price for a in your hands paperback then yea, I would say its worth it. Not even going to go into all the spelling and grammar errors that are in the published book... (Seems the author can't figure out how to use a simple spell checker)

4 stars.. Why? Because i really enjoyed the story... Even with all the glaring problems.

p.s Mr Jackson.. You do know there are FREE spell checking / grammar options out on the web right?

Good but short

Im enjoying the books but I feel like they end right on the middle of minor plot lines. It is a very typical example of the genre. So, if you like LitRPG then you will like this.

Fun read

I enjoyed the read, although it seemed a liitle bit short when compared against the first book. The universe is further fleshed out, and I am sure it will keep geeting richer and more detailed as additional books are written. The job he picked came as a refreshing surprise. the unconventional jobs tend to be the most interesting. looking forward to the next book for another fun read.
