The highly anticipated last book in the Anathergians Trilogy is here at long last!
Together They Can Prevent the Destruction of the World
THE KING
Variants, humans whose altered DNA turn them into blood ravaging killers, are attacking en masse around the world. Their leader, Travik, is gathering a force from space to kill every last human.
Auden, immortal king of the Anathergians, has the fate of the world in his hands. His hold is slipping as the threats multiply each day.
Then there’s Auden’s Lifemate, Leah, whom he loves above all others. He struggles to do what he can to ensure her safety while also protecting her from herself.
THE QUEEN
J'ashidah, the Anathergian gathering, is upon them. There Leah will be introduced to thousands of her people and crowned as the Anathergian queen.
But Leah wants nothing more than to use her newfound Anathergian strength, along with her witch powers, to remove the threat of the Variants and their leader. It doesn’t matter that the villain is her father. She’s had enough of his continual harassment and attacks, especially to those she loves. She will do whatever it takes, including lies and deception, to end this threat.
THE ROYAL
Travik, one of the last living Anathergian royals, wants to take Auden’s place with his daughter at his side. He will destroy everything, including every precious life on this world, to get what he wants, no matter the cost. First, however, he must convince Leah to agree with his way of thinking. And if she doesn’t… Well, he has no problem hurting, maiming, or killing those she cares for.
Michelle C. Reilly is a single mom of two wonderful boys, and a grandma to three wonderful kiddos. She spent ten years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and is a 100% disabled veteran. She has a Masters in Science in Public Health, but she is generally an IT geek and nerd of many other things. She currently resides in Colorado with her two dogs, Sophie and Lyra (aka The Mud Dog), and her cat Moose (aka 'Moosifur').
She self-published the ANATHERGIANS saga, science-fiction/paranormal romance and suspense stories that revolve around a powerful alien species who landed on Earth over five thousand years ago. SAVAGE WINDS, her venture into time travel romance, was picked up by The Wild Rose Press.
She's currently working on a romantasy trilogy that is TOP SECRET!
I was gifted this copy direct from the author, and I thank Michelle for that!
This is book three, and you really REALLY need to read Variants (book one) and Witches (book two before you read this one. You need to know what Leah and Auden have been through, what Ceadan did to save his sister, Leah, and how she suffered at the hands of her father.
Leah and Auden are still recovering from the effects of Leah's kidnapping. Leah has yet to regain the mental connection with Auden she so desperately craves. Leah's father, Travik (although she refuses to let him have the title of father)has somehow managed to connect with Leah and plants images and dreams and nightmares in her head. The oly way to stop Travik and his plan of world domination (I have to say, the way Travik says this in the book made me chuckle! made me thing of some film character that delievered a similar line, but cannot think for the life of me which one!) is to kill him.
But first, Leah must be presented to the ten yearly gathering of the Anathergians as their queen, as Auden's life mate. They visit Egypt, the site the ship, Nehjed, landed all those 5000 years ago. We get more of the Anathergians early history, and how that melds with our Ancient Egyptian history. I loved that the ship responded to Leah, trying to tell her what they needed to defeat Travik, with pictures even if the ship didn't have the words.
And then we have Ceadan. It's hard to believe that he is still a 15 year old boy. Since trunign Variant to save Leah and the Auden saving him with his DNA, the boy has been through a lot. And he goes through more here! His powers are increasing, both in strength and skill, he makes a surprising annoucement to the Witches. He has more to come, I know this, because I have insider information, or rather, I asked Michelle, and she said so! He gets his own book soon!
This is the end for Leah and Auden, and I'm sad! I'm sad because, while reading this book, I knew this was their final book, I was accutely aware of that fact. And it made me read the book differently, if that makes any sense. I took in every word, every feeling, every fight with the Variants, every loss to the Anathergians, and every time Leah and Auden came together. More than I normally would, anyway!
Thank you, again, to Michelle for letting me read her books :-)
I can't wait to see what Michelle does for Ceadan, and what comes next from her mind. Be interesting to see, I can tell you that much!

Auden and Leah have been reunited, but there are costs. They don’t have the mental and physical connection that they did before Leah’s abduction and it is wearing on them. On top of trying to reconnect, Leah learns that she needs to be present for the gathering of the Anathergians that takes place every ten years so that she can be introduced as their new queen. No pressure, right?
I survived two cliffhanger endings to get to the final installment in the Anathergian Trilogy, and I’m glad I stuck it out. I have immensely enjoyed the world that Michelle C. Reilly has created and I would love to read more set in this world, perhaps from the point of view of another of the characters.
This book is recommended for those over 18 who enjoy hot sex with an Alpha male and who like writers who take a potentially tired genre and flip it on its ear.

An excellent read with plenty of action and adventure. In a battle to save Earth, and those they love, Auden and Leah will do whatever it takes to protect everyone.
I hope Michelle continues with the Anathergians stories (there are a lot of them who still need their story told) and their battle with the Zonatair.
I absolutely love this series, and the third and final installment did not disappoint at all. I particularly loved Leah's part in kicking ass at the end. I very satisfying end to a great trilogy. If you haven't picked up this series yet, you should! ;)
A great story with a great end. I had a hard time putting it down and couldn't wait to see what happened next. Very exciting and spellbinding. Thank you for a great book.
