This book says it's aimed at grades 2 and 3, but I'd guess more 6 and 7-year-olds. This book is about aliens. It uses both illustrations and photos. Some of the alien pictures are a bit frightening, and if your child is easily scared this book may affect them. Use your judgment.
There are two sections about the Men in Black, who are of course threatening and menacing, nothing like the portrayal of Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith in the movies. One sentence reads: "When he stuck to his story [the Men in Black] became angry and said his wife would suffer if he didn't give them the metal."
This book has a special place in my heart as its the reason for who i am today now you might be confused as to why well let me explain. growing up my dad always had documentary on the TV about space and aliens that completely fascinated me. So im in primary school and im going to pick a book that i can read in class for my reading level. Now because i have dyslexia i didn't have much choice of books this was a level up and i had to argue for it and the teachers gave in and it was a book i couldn't put down and always picked out and read constantly over and over again and each time with as much joy and excitement as the first time. Well the years went on my old school was knocked down and a new one was built and then that meant new books, which meant getting rid of old books including this book i saw the teacher pull this book out and throw it into the bin. And i just couldn't see this book be treated like that so when the teachers weren't looking i ran over to the bin i picked out the book and put it under my jumper and walked away calmly to my bag and put it in there and still to this day 20 years old 23/04/2018 i have that book. Now that i look back i think i should of asked for the book if they was throwing it away they would of given it to me but fear as a young boy of them saying no was to much of a risk but as you can tell for me there is a lot of love for this short book but it got me into aliens and conspiracy theory's and the foundation for my nerdy/geekyness and all the joys of life out there other than humans.
As for the book it's self it's basic as it was wrote for kids almost as a starting block to alien conspiracy's it has story's about the famous Roswell new mexico crash site, area 51, the barney and Betty hill case where they were on a drive home saw some lights get home and find they where missing about 3+ hours of there time they where abducted by small Gray men. which then that leads on to the different types of aliens that have been described by people who have been abducted all really fascinating and it is all put together in a way that is easy to understand but also enjoy unlike if you was to read about these cases online and have to sit and read 6 pages and only the first 3 are worth reading yeah I've been there.
Even though this book was made for kids i still recommend it for viewers who have kids or want an easy route into this huge conspiracy world and it is a big world so a bridging book like this will help well it helped me at a young age.
Holy nostalgia, Batman! This book brings back too many memories. I must of had this when I was as young as 6 or 7 years old. I credit this book as one of the reasons I am so interested in aliens and conspiracies today. I used to carry this everywhere and must have read it dozens of times.
This wasn't just a story with aliens, this was a book on potentially real accounts of UFOs and aliens. As a kid I was incredibly fascinated by this and this book caused me to do a lot of critical thinking and pondering as a young child.
If I can remember correctly this book contained everything from Roswell to mysterious men in black and even ancient alien hieroglyphics.
Thank you book for helping make me the huge science fiction nerd I am today.
This book is full of good information. A good place to start someone on the subject of alien reports. It is easy to read, and parts of it are compelling which is remarkable considering the 47 page length. I also enjoyed the art and photos.
I feel to believe about Real-Life stories of UFOs. When those people told everyone about alien abduction, aliens from other planets visiting Earth, and more. I'd like to searching to find UFOs.
