Ten Days: A Greek Island Summer Romance

Rate this book
Ten days that changed everything.
Robbie Sullivan arrives on the tiny island of Astellos with a suitcase, a struggling relationship waiting back home, and one goal: get enough distance to figure things out.
What she doesn’t expect is James Harrington. The maddeningly composed heir to an American media empire.

‘I was literally screaming and smiling so much that my cheeks hurt.’ Reader review

‘It has really been a long time since I felt so much emotion over a book. I didn't even want it to end.’ Reader Review

James is on the island for reasons of his own. He and Robbie have almost nothing in common, except perhaps the uncomfortable feeling that neither of them is living quite the life they chose.
Over ten sun-soaked Greek island days, between ocean swims, Greek dancing, hidden sea grottos, accidental adventures and a village that seems determined to adopt her, Robbie begins to remember the version of herself she’d almost forgotten.
And somewhere between friendship and something far more dangerous, James starts to feel less like part of the holiday and more like the one thing she won’t know how to leave behind.
But ten days were always going to end.
And sometimes the bravest thing you can do is admit that the life you built isn't the life you want.

Ten Days is a warm, funny, slow-burn contemporary romance about escape, ambition, friendship, finding yourself again—and the person you meet when you finally do.

‘This book is brilliant. THE romance book of the summer. I never wanted it to end’ Reader Review

‘It has been a long time since I came across something that felt this original to me.’ Reader Review

I am so glad this book is finally out and many people will have the opportunity to read this beautiful piece like I did. I love the fact this is about romance, but also about self discovery. I screamed and laughed and cried a lot of times while reading. I can assure you, you will enjoy every single part of it and yearn for a kiss from the two protagonist.

### ⭐ ARC Review: *Ten Days* by Buffy J

**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**

**ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.**

I genuinely loved this book. You know when you finish a story and it leaves you wanting to do something completely different with your life? That was *Ten Days* for me. In fact, I loved it so much that I've actually booked a trip to Greece for summer 2027! If that doesn't tell you how much this book got to me, I don't know what will. 😂

Robbie's journey was such a lovely thing to experience. There is something about stepping away from your everyday life, finding yourself somewhere completely new and slowly realising what you actually want that really resonated with me. I loved watching her discover herself throughout those ten days, and the way Greece becomes the backdrop for so much more than just a holiday.

And then there is James. ❤️

One of my favourite things about him was how he always seemed to be there when Robbie needed him. The way he kept catching her when she fell felt like such a beautiful reflection of their relationship. It wasn't just about the big romantic gestures. It was about showing up, being there and making someone feel safe enough to let their guard down. There was something so special about the way he seemed to catch her both literally and emotionally, and I absolutely adored that.

And THE GROTTO SCENE. I am still thinking about it! There is something about certain scenes that just stays with you, and that was definitely one of them for me. I don't even want to say too much because I think it's one of those moments that readers need to experience for themselves, but it was such a standout part of the story for me.

I also loved how the Greek island setting made everything feel so immersive. The atmosphere, the scenery and the slower pace of life made me feel like I was right there with Robbie. I could picture myself wandering around the island, enjoying the sunshine and forgetting about the rest of the world for a little while. Clearly, I enjoyed it enough to start planning my own Greek escape!

But what really made this book special was how it made me feel. Beneath the romance, there is something so meaningful about taking a step back from the life you know and allowing yourself to imagine something different. Sometimes you need a little distance from everything familiar to figure out what makes you happy, and I loved watching Robbie navigate that.

I finished *Ten Days* with that full heart feeling that you get when a story has genuinely touched you. I loved the romance, I loved the setting, I loved the little moments between Robbie and James, and I especially loved the way he was there for her when she needed him.

This is one of those books that I think will stay with me for a long time. It made me want to travel, slow down and make room for new experiences, and it reminded me just how special it is when a story can make you feel something long after you've turned the final page.

Five stars from me. And apparently, a trip to Greece too. 😂❤️

Thank you for the eARC once again Chloe @theberryagency

Oh, my heart! 🥹❤️ This book was such a beautiful surprise. I fell in love with the atmosphere, the characters, and the way their story unfolded. There was just something so special about these two together that had me completely wrapped up in their world. It made me feel ALL the things, from grinning like an idiot to feeling a little teary-eyed. These are the kinds of stories that leave you with a big smile when you turn that final page. Absolutely beautiful! 😍💕⛵️🏝️

Wow, where do I begin with this book? I don't know what I expected going into it, but I found myself lost in a world that I fell in love with. This book is so beautifully written, and I'm not sure if it's because I have been to Greece or the way that she described the setting, but I felt as if I was there and could imagine the island and all it had to offer.  If you are looking for a full-on romance with spice, this book is not for you; instead, if you are looking to escape your world into a new one in which you get to be a fly on the wall of a woman and her journey of 10 days to self-discovery, then this is for you. I was rooting for her the whole time and really wanted her to find the happiness she deserved. I fell in love with her, the main man and all the side characters. Such a beautiful book.

‘The island knows’

Such a light and heartfelt story, with the amount of detail the author put into this you could almost close your eyes and imagine being on the island!

But talk about a slow burn. I cannot count the amount of times I just kept thinking ‘kiss already’ throughout the story. The ending was just a perfect way to tie up the whole thing.

Such a great, original read. Loved it. Don't start unless you have a few days to finish it because this one was hard to put down. I hope the author writes a sequel. It made me want to jump on a plane to Greece tomorrow!

ARC READ FROM THE BERRY AGENCY

This book was a quick pallet cleanser, fun and sweet with beautiful characters. We start this book off by Robbie arriving in the Greek island, Astellos, for a ten day vacation to get away from her life and clear her mind. Straight away, we get into the beginning her adventure, and I loved that we got straight into story, learning about her past as we go. This is a contemporary, travel romance all about self discovery and friendship. As much as I enjoyed this book, I can’t give it a 3.5 because of the fact that Robbie is in a relationship at the time and isn’t communicating with her partner as she is falling for someone else.
