If you thought the Watcher was bad, just wait until you meet the Doctor! 🧠

Did i finish this book within just a few hours after receiving my ARC copy? ofcourse i did! I waited months for this and the second i saw the notification pop up, i started reading.

Was this one of the most sick things i’ve ever read? F*ck yes! And I genuinely mean that as a compliment. Definitely don’t take the trigger warnings lightly (said by someone who doesn’t even read trigger warnings, but i’m warning you nonetheless).

This was so worth the wait and it was an insane conclusion to the story of Silas and Iris.

"until the end." 🖤

As usual, 5 absolute massive stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
F**king Masterpiece! ✨

Jesus Christ on a motorbike!
I now don’t know what to do with my life 😭

After I gobbled up Crawl Space faster than a rat on a Cheeto, I couldn’t wait to get my mittens on Straight Jacket! And Holy F**king Hell it did not disappoint!

J, You nearly had me spiralling 😵‍💫 I honest to God nearly threw my kindle at the wall 🤣

Daddy Silas will always be one of my most loved MMC forever 🖤

At chapter 10, I thought I knew where this was going and then… Jord did what she usually does and flipped the script!

I was in literal tears at some parts 😭
How the actual F did you make me sob and vomit at the same time, that’s a fu*cking talent that!

I would risk amnesia just to read this duet again from the beginning 🤣 I was crying horrible snotty tears at that ending 😭

(Thank you 🙏🙏 for that extended epilogue! My dark black heart wouldn’t have coped without it!!)

P.S
Not a chance am I going to eat warm bread, clotted cream or strawberry ice cream ever again 😵‍💫🤢

(Please don’t ruin cupcakes! A girls gotta eat something!)

‼️ Check your triggers before diving into this Kids! ‼️
It is J after all! You shoulda learned by now 😈
You’ve only got yourself to blame 😉

FIVE SOLID GOLD STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
And about 6🌶 because nothing is bringing Silas Riggs down from my top 5 list after that 🥵

The Dealy Love Duet did not disappoint. Does J. N. Bamforth ever disappoint? No. The answer is no. Does she give some heavy food aversions, of course. Did I care? Nah. Well... 👀

I cannot give away any spoilers because that was too good to ruin for any reason. But I will say two things; 1. If you thought The Watcher was bad then you aren't ready for The Doctor 🫣🤢 and 2. We get a new friend named Dolly 🩷😁

Also, thank you to the author because I don't think I would've been okay without this follow-up. She mentions that she just wanted to do Silas and Iris right and give the reader what they deserve, you certainly did it. I loved it. I will never stop recommending this duet. Ever. 🖤

Woowwwwwwwww!!!

JN Bamforth take a bow, the second part of the deadly love duet landed to my inbox today and I rannnnn to download.

This was everything I hoped for and more, we have our couple Iris and Silas and of course our absolutely rank 3rd character the doctor. And what a prick he is!!

I don’t know who my heart broke for more in this book Silas or Iris, reading what they do through was heart wrenching. We meet a new character Dolly aswell that’s as cute as a button. And in true JN Bamforth fashion several foods can never be consumed again.

This duet is a 5 star read for me and anyone that loves erotic horror should run to download and pre-order, I’m so excited for what Jordan brings us next.

4.5 rounded up.

Ever since I read Crawlspace and that ending, I've been impatiently waiting for book 2, and I almost screamed when I got the ARC.

Book 2 picks up right where we (literally) left Silas and Iris, and we are introduced to an even worse character from Silas' past, which is the Doctor.
I like my books bloody, and Straightjacket delivers. It has everything your depraved heart needs (smut, gore, etc.) and more. I love Silas and Iris together; overall, this was a great conclusion for this duet.

Jordan is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, and I can't wait to read more from her.

PS. I swear if it weren't for those epilogues, I would have thrown my Kindle across the room.

Ahhhh I ate this book uppp.

When Crawl Space ended like that, I almost lost my mind. I needed to know what happened and this book delivered. I’m so obsessed with Silas and Iris, it’s not even funny. The things my poor babies have been through broke my freaking heart and this book was no different. Iris is such a baddie. I loved her with my whole heart in book 1 but she was even better in book 2, if you can even believe that. And Silas… Silas is my freaking baby. My favorite tortured soul of all time. The love I have for that man is unmatched. The way he talks to/about Iris is everything. 😭 That man can do no wrong in my eyes.

I wish I could talk more about the plot of this book but I don’t want to spoil anything in book 1. The plot twists in this book were INSANE. The whole thing will Dolly had my mind blown. I did NOT see that coming.

One thing J.N. Bamforth is good at, is making me lose my appetite. BRO. There’s 2 specific scenes in this book that I fear will be engraved in my mind forever, and not in a good way. 🤢 Ahhh I wish I could say more but I think I might throw up. Just note, when you’re reading this book or Crawl Space, make sure you’re not eating or planning to eat for a while.

Of course, this is a DARK book that definitely won’t be for everyone but it sure was for me bahahah🤪 I can’t wait to read the rest of J.N. Bamforths books. Her writing is some of my favorite. I’m so thankful I was chosen to be an ARC reader. I will obsess over Crawl Space and Straightjacket for the rest of my life.

"Pull that sheet any lower and I'll cut off your tits and blend them into soup." 💀💀 Hahahaha just when you think it can’t get any crazier in a J.N. Bamforth book.. somehow it does. I genuinely don’t even know if I’m supposed to find some of this shit funny, but I laughed out louuuuud. WHAT THE HELL did I just read?! 🤣🍦 (in a good way)

I absolutely loved this book. Silas and Iris already had my heart in Crawl Space and after that ending I couldn’t wait to read book 2. This book was once again disturbing, disgusting, and completely unhinged, but it was also absolutely heartbreaking. There were multiple moments where my heart genuinely broke and I found myself in tears. And I will keep saying it (just like in all my other reviews): I LOVE the combination of disturbing and heartbreaking in her books. Somehow she manages to make me laugh one second and emotionally destroy me the next!!

I don’t want to say too much about the actual plot because of spoilers, but I absolutely recommend this duet if you’re looking for a completely unhinged read with DARK humor that also will hit you in your feels. But definitely check the tw and don’t eat while reading. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. 🤣

4⭐️ and thank you so much for this ARC!

WHAT. THE. FUCK. Ms Bamforth has done it again

I swear I’ve felt every emotion in this book. I was already stressing just from reading the author note page. Such a huge shift in emotions and dynamics in this book. Iris was in her element! She found her strength to fight for herself, for Silas and their future and she never gave up even when things were slipping away. The spice as always was SPICING. Not as much as book one as they had their hands full in the penitentiary but devoured one another at every given opportunity they got.

Dr Thorne. EURGH. I’m not sure who I despise more.. him or James Whittaker. Both are utterly sick and deranged individuals. Would it even be a book in this duet without the most disgusting, stomach churning scenes? No it would not. I’ve come to a realisation whilst reading these books that I can stomach all of the trauma and gory stuff but bodily fluids.. is where I draw the line haha.

Silas & Iris will live rent free in my head..until the end

I had very high hopes going into Straight Jacket and honestly, I think Crawl Space is partly to blame because that book set the bar ridiculously fucking high for me.

I still really enjoyed this. The story was dark, twisted and completely engaging. And Jordan’s writing is, as always, so damn fucking good. She has such a knack for making everything feel filthy, disturbing and weirdly addictive without losing the actual story underneath it.

But as much as I loved Straight Jacket, it didn’t quite hit me in the same way Crawl Space did.

And that’s the problem when the previous book becomes god tier in your brain. 😂

So this is a very solid 4 stars from me not because there was anything wrong with it, but because I went in chasing that same unhinged high Crawl Space gave me.

Still dark. Still depraved. Still unmistakably J.N. Bamforth.

Crawl Space just remains firmly welded to its throne. 🖤

When I tell you it was gross in places, I mean it was fucking gross in places. So with that in mind make sure your not eating while you read this book 😅

I absolutely lived for Silas in crawl space, and straight jacket was just as superb!!

We start the book where we left off, with a bleeding Silas and Iris being kidnapped and carted off to the penitentiary and into the hands of the vile Dr Thorne.

Iris as Silas both suffer torture, and trauma,at the hands of the guards and Dr Thorne.

The arguments between Silas and his inner demon were funny, inner Silas is sassy 😏

After the carnage caused by Silas, Iris and Dolly, and a small blip in time .. Iris and Silas FINALLY get their HEA!

Now .. I just need dollys story please and thank you 💋

the only thing I wanted, was more, 🖤

I freaking DEVOURED this. Hoooooly freaking trauma, y’all … Please, please read the trigger warnings before going into this one because it is DARK.
And chapter 10… chapter freaking 10 😂 I was sitting there like, “Oh, we’re really doing this?” and I LOVED IT.
This is exactly what I want from pitch-black erotic horror. Messy, disturbing, completely unhinged, and somehow impossible to put down. J.N. absolutely delivered with this one, and I already know I’m going to be thinking about certain scenes for way too long 💀

I hold this duet so close to my heart. Silas and Iris are the absolute power couple, I really don’t know who I loved more soooo do you think they’ll have room for a little one? 👀

After reading crawl space I had high expectations and JN Bamforth absolutely delivered and still followed the theme of stomach churning moments. This time she’s ruined milkshakes for me. From start to finish I was hooked and was taken on a roller coaster of emotions once again which may have led to me shedding some tears.

Now I will just go and fantasise about my own prison bar fun because that was HOT 🔥

I want to start off with the warning triggers, Yes… they should absolutely be taken seriously! Some chapters genuinely made me feel sick, and there were moments where I had to put the book down for a second and process what in the gunshot wound did I just read. 😂

J.N. Bamforth…somehow manages to make books absolutely horrifying while also making them completely impossible to put down. There is something so addictive about the way the writing flows, bravo… I was entertained throughout.

Getting to see more of Silas, added so much depth to his character for me. And Iris… the way her rage builds throughout this book! I completely ate it up. Their relationship is completely unconventional, deeply messed up, and yet the powerhouse couple everyone needs in their life.

The setting was absolutely horrific. There were scenes where I genuinely felt uncomfortable reading them, It has that psychological horror element that makes you feel trapped right alongside the characters.

I genuinely think these books need to be read back to back. I read Crawl Space a while ago, and there were definitely moments where I wished I could remember every tiny detail because it builds so heavily on what came before. But that’s on me for not refreshing my brain!

There is just one thing I found myself wanting more of… and I’m going to sound absolutely awful saying this 😂 I wanted a certain character to suffer. Like… really…suffer. This particular somebody deserved more of Silas’ wrath. I was ready for it. I needed it….It just fell a little short of what I was hoping for! That’s genuinely the only thing I would have liked to have seen more of, because overall, I really, really enjoyed this book!

If you can handle the brutal and very graphic scenes… bump these books up on your TBR! It’s disturbing, brutal, heartbreaking, addictive and completely unhinged. Basically everything I expect when I pick up a Bamforth book.

Thanks for entertaining the hell out of me 👏🏻

Foreword: I was not paid to read this advanced reader copy of Straightjacket by JN Bamforth and I was not told to leave a positive review. The official release date of Straightjacket is October 5th.

"Did you miss me, little demon?
Cause I sure as hell missed you.
I suggest that you tell your other book boyfriends to get the f*ck outta my way.
Daddy Silas is coming home."

Straightjacket is the second book of the Deadly Love Duet, and the first is Crawl Space. The sequel does not disappoint, and it is my genuine, brutally honest opinion that both of these books are 5 stars.

Crawl Space introduces you to Iris and Silas. You learn about them and the trauma that they have experienced as individuals, and you fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other. Their unconventional relationship and love life is gripping and page turning. The suspense, horror, and gore keeps everything just as interesting and complex. Crawl Space ends on a cliff hanger, and Straightjacket picks up right where it left off.

Straightjacket picks you up, and drops you off into a mental institution. This book is depraved in the way that American Horror Story Asylum is. In this book, you see how Iris and Silas never lose sight of their undying love for each other, even in the worst possible circumstances.

The ending of Crawl Space infuriated me, and the ending of Straightjacket made me cry. The only thing that bothered me about this book duet, was the fact that I didn't read them back to back. My memory is hot, steamy garbage, and I forgot some details in book 1 that were continued in book 2. I highly suggest these books, but read them consecutively so that you can get the whole experience without missing a beat.

I woke up to the best news and received an ARC for book 2. I finished this book in 1 day. I could not put it down 👏🏽It was one of my highly anticipated reads of the year!! 5 fucking ⭐️’s!! Spice was about 2 🌶️🌶️. You must read Crawl space first!!!

“Did you miss me, little demon?
Cause I sure as hell missed you.
I suggest that you tell your other book boyfriends to get the fuck outta my way.
Daddy Silas is coming home.”

Ughh the freaking dedication sold me and had me absolutely feral!!!! 🥵🥵

Book 2 immediately picks up where we left off in book 1. This book was so depraved and extremely dark. Please check your triggers prior. This is a pitch black erotic horror. With Straight Jacket we are dropped off into a mental institution. It immediately gave me AHS Asylum vibes- and that’s one of my favorite seasons 🙌🏽 We dive more into the character depth of our MMC Silas. Our FMC Iris is a badass and we are witnessing all of her rage building up throughout the book. I literally could not put this book down! I loved the multiple POV’s. I had a few moments where my jaw was on the floor or I’m yelling “WTF” after every other sentence 😭😭😭 The dynamic between Silas and Iris absolutely made my heart swell, and we truly got to see how deep and strong their love for one another truly was 🥹🥹🥹🥹 If you thought you hated the Watcher?!! Oh please, just wait til you meet the Doctor! He is a vile human being in every way you can imagine. And the 🔫 shot wound?!!!! Bro what the actual fuck?!! I threw my Kindle.

I highly suggest reading Crawl space first then diving into Straight Jacket! The Deadly Love duet gave me everything I was looking for and more 🙌🏽 Thank you so much J.N. Bamforth for the ARC! It did not disappoint at all!!!

As always with J.N. Bamforth books they are an absolute masterpiece. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.8🖤

"If you cage a dog for long enough, that dog can become.. real f*cking nasty, and I ain't talking about me."

"Even in the dark, little demon. I'll always find you."

After completely and utterly falling in love with crawl space and Silas and Iris's story. I was so happy when I recieved the email on Sunday for the arc read. I honestly don't know where to begin with this book.

J.N. Bamforth had me at the trigger warnings, and there were so many. But it honestly just made me want to read the book even more. I opened the book to an amazing dedication and playlist.

This book made me laugh, it made me angry and it made me cry. It really did not disapoint, I absolutely adore this series, I officialy have emotional damage after finishing this book tonight. I know I can't pick up another book. I will not get over crawl space or straight jacket. They both have me in a chokehold. 🥺

"I'd do.. anything for you, little demon."
"I'd hand myself over to the devil, if it meant that.. you were safe".

I won't say to much as I don't want to ruin it for anyone else with the spoilers as I'd rather you experience this masterpiece yourself instead. All i'll say is you will definitely f*cking hate the doctor. You may also see clotted cream and strawberry ice cream differently after reading. 🤣

Also Silas arguing with his inner self was hilarious 🤣

My only downside to this book is I feel it needed to be longer but other than that it was perfect. As always check your triggers before reading.

"You're my endgame, until the end." 🖤

10 ⭐️ ARC READ, thank you JN💚

I would sprint-nay- RUN for an unhinged cookbook by JN. She has single handedly managed to write off dairy & grain for me in the span of 2 books!

I loved finally getting Silas' history & understanding how he got to where he was. Iris & her built up rage was everything I needed, she ate the feminine rage was it. If you liked Sibby, you will LOVE Dolly as a side character.

The ending? Entirely criminal. That last sentence, sobbing in bed at 1am like a deranged psychopath.
It had all of the twists & turns & tied up every loose end/question I had from Crawl Space.

Begging everybody to read this duet!

quotes
— "If you cage a dog for long dog can become.. real fuckin nasty, and I ain't talking about me

— I don't recognise my momma. She's not the person who made me pancakes for breakfast or put bandages on my knees whenever I fell over.

— “Hell is empty and all the devils are here."

— Kissing Iris Winter is like coming home, and I never thought that I'd make it home ever again.

— I want every atom that makes up her energy to crash into mine, I want us to explode together until we're nothing but dust and fragments, completely intertwined with each other.

— And Iris Winter will always be my last seven minutes.

BETA review -

Where do I begin? When I first arc read Crawl Space, I knew from that book alone that this duet would hold a very special place in my heart. My love for both Iris and Silas was unlike any love for fictional characters before.

At the end of CS I knew that the wait for Straight Jacket was going to be torture but I knew it would be worth the wait. (You must read Crawl Space prior to reading Straight Jacket)

When I was told to expect trauma and pain… that could not have prepared me for the series of events that unfolded in SJ. The emotions this book dragged from my soul was utterly heartbreaking, beautifully tragic and overall the story and ending both Silas and Iris deserved.

OH and the smut… prison bars… that’s all I’m saying 🫠🥵

But with every JN story, there is always something or someone who is the most out of pocket and deranged shit… Dr Thorne… where do we start with this mummy loving psycho 👀🤢

The strength of my stomach was definitely tested yet again, and I thought The Watcher was bad… just you wait for Dr Thorne 😅

But then we got to meet the most precious person, Dolly and what a beautiful delight she was… you never know who you meet inside the walls of hells…

This duet is a must read, but it is very heavy on triggers. So please be sure to check those before diving in.

It almost feels like a goodbye now that the duet is over and I am envious for anyone who gets to experience this duet for the first time, I’d give a part of my soul to have that again! It’s a 6 plus star read for me, and it will not let you down!

“Until the end.”

Holy sh*t.

This book was an absolute roller coaster of emotions and I think it's going to take a while for me to be okay again, because holy sh*t.

I lost count how many times I clutched my pearls, gasped and leaned forward in my seat and almost threw my kindle out the window. At one point I thought I was going to have a permanent look of horror and disgust on my face, having made the mistake of reading before bed. I had to look at some pictures of cute baby animals to forget the gruesome mental images J.N Bamforth has forever burned into my brain (again). Cottage cheese was nasty, but I have sworn off vanilla milkshakes forevermore, and if anyone uses the word chewy around me ever again? Wretch.

Bamforth has such a glorious way with words, I could almost smell Salem Pen and taste the sour stomach acid on my tongue, the level of detail is incredible. But above all, the ride or die love written between Iris and Silas had me ugly crying, it's truly *mwah*. She gives him the safety he deserves, and he helps her realise how much of a queen she really is.

"Until the end" holds new meaning now.

If you loved Crawlspace, you're going to be OBSESSED with this.

ARC Review
This book picks up right when CrawlSpace ends. The mmc and fmc are locked in an asylum that is reminiscent of the asylums from the 1800s. Torture, 🍇, and experimentation are the norm.
Truly a horror erotic story Straitjacket will make you angry, sad, sick, and downright murderous! I wanted to jump into the book and help Silas and Iris!
The book is well written and the plot is interesting and kept me invested.
We get some background on Dr Thorne and how he got his start in psychiatry. We also get some background on Iris’ grandmother and how she and Silas interacted.
Overall, I stayed up late to finish some chapters. I thought about the book while I was at work and couldn’t read. I was invested from start to finish.
Certainly this genre isn’t for everyone and people should check the trigger warnings before they get into the book. The Trigger list is pages long lol. So please protect your mental health.

I didn’t think I could love Silas and Iris more than I did in Crawl Space but wow this book fucking blew it out the water!!!

You see a whole different side to both MC’s in this book and I enjoyed every second of it. Iris absolutely has a vicious bite and I loved seeing that side of her. Her revenge was just what the girl needed.

My heart was fucking breaking for both of them through this whole book but at the same time my ass was on the edge of my seat. There were so many jaw dropping what the fuck moments, right until the very end.

Dolly, I fucking love her already. Her energy is absolutely unhinged and I am here for it. I cannot wait to get her story because I just know that shit is going to be wild.

Our villain though. He fucked in the head, (no pun intended) but I love his crazy.

‘Look at me, Momma. I’m making it all better’ - 5 star for the unhinged read. 👌🏻

After being pulled into the story of Silas and Iris in Crawl Space, I was desperate to read the continuation of their story. It simply couldn’t end there.

In Straitjacket, we are taken to Salem Penitentiary, where the evil and twisted Dr Thorne has our Silent Killer and his Little Demon.

Straightjacket continues the same twisted horror, jaw-dropping grossness and thigh-squeezing hotness. Nothing can keep our two lovebirds from their life together… even in death.

I absolutely lapped up the additional chapters, and the insight from Lilian was a gorgeous addition to the story.

J.N. has woven another story that will have you hooked, disgusted, flustered and absolutely heartbroken throughout. Get the tissues ready guys because this one will hit you in the heart.

4 solid stars and 4 habanero chillies!

OBSESSED. I think I need some time in a straight jacket for how crazy I feel for LOVING them so much. Silas and Iris are end game.
And maybe that makes me certifiable but I think all the best people are. 😈

This was everything I hoped for with reading book 2 in this duet. It gave me so much of the doctor and the backstory. And whew if you thought book 1 was rough…good luck. I loved getting more from Silas before and his lore. And just the overall trauma he faced. And the matchmaker vibes 🫣🫣🫣🫣ahhhhhh seriously this was so good.

I don’t wanna say too much otherwise I risk spoiling parts. But you’re gonna crash out in the best way with this one.

5 well

Mind blowing (quite literally)

Those opening lines at the start made me so curious about how Silas and Iris’s story would actually unfold. And honestly, I couldn’t have predicted the journey they were about to go on.

I honestly wasn’t sure where Silas and Iris’s story was leading to, but this story completely blew my mind. It did NOT disappoint.

Those final chapters had me in a full on chokehold. I was completely consumed by the story, and by the time I reached the end, what an emotional rollercoaster I'd been on.

Also, the warnings should absolutely be taken seriously. The level of detail is INTENSE. Graphic, disturbing and, at times, genuinely stomach turning… which somehow made it even better. If you’re going into this thinking you can handle it, just know J.N Bamforth wasn’t joking with those warnings! Take them seriously.

I inhaled this...

Oooooookay. First, I’m actually really sad to be leaving Silas and Iris behind.. but I know there won’t be a single day that goes by where I don’t think about this duet.

Second, this book put me through the f**king wringer. I felt all the emotions and went from being disgusted to ugly crying in literal minutes..

I devoured this book, as I knew I would. It delivered the same pitch black, twisted, smutty energy the first book did.. maybe even more so.

While I am happy with how it ended, was it necessary to put me through emotional turmoil to get there?!

Forever grateful for this amazing author and her beautiful (slightly terrifying) mind for this duet, and for allowing me to read it early!

**Side note, warm bread has been ruined for me, forever 🥴🤢

If you were appalled by the Watcher… just wait till you meet Doctor Thorne.

Look here JN Bamforth- how dare you? How dare you have me feeling for such a morally black character that I’m almost sobbing just moments after literally gagging from another. You got me all sorts of messed up and I couldn’t be happier for how this second half of the duet went. I crept through Crawl Space at a decent pace to savor Silas but I couldn’t get through this fast enough!

Again with the multi POV, highly spicy and overly depraved story but somehow have the best written declaration of love being poured out of someone’s soul. I love how such an overall fucked up story can truly stick with us sicko readers to be a favorite love story in the end. “Until the end” 🖤
And yes, WAIT TILL THE END!

*ARC REVIEW*

Well if you enjoyed Crawl Space then you’ll love Straight Jacket! I finished this in less than 24 hours and once we hit that 60% mark there was no stopping me!

There were a few times throughout this that I questioned my sanity and pulled some very questionable faces … “strawberry swirl ice cream”, no thank you!

I liked the chapter we go from Lilian as she just seems like the grandma everyone needs. I enjoyed how Iris became this badass woman who couldn’t be stopped all because of her love for Silas, compared to the first few chapters of Crawl Space where she seemed like someone who was just into true crime and kept to herself.

Reading this has also made me intrigued for Dolly’s story which I hope we’re getting soon!

I gave the first book in this duet 5 stars, but this one stepped it up even more. The darkness factor was turned way up, and while some of it was genuinely intense, it all worked for the story. There are scenes that are absolutely disgusting but that’s the point. It’s erotic horror, and I loved that the book wasn’t afraid to let the horror stay horrific. We get to dive into the main characters on a much more emotional level while they navigate some pretty intense traumas. I was genuinely invested in them and wanted good things for them. I went in pretty blind and there were definitely some things I was NOT expecting… and I loved it. If you’re looking for an erotic horror with romance elements and characters who have depth, you need to read this duet

“Take me down to hell, Silas. Right where we belong.”

I was so desperate to read this after finishing Crawl Space so was soooo grateful to get this as an ARC and OMG it did not disappoint. I only wish it was longer!

We get the ending to Silas and Iris’ story with all the twists and turns in between.

Daddy Silas maaaaay just be my favourite MMC ever! And Iris is an absolutely badass in this book proving she can take care of herself in hell.

Chapter 18…🫪🫪🫪 this had me grimacing whilst on the treadmill 🫣

Fab book, kept me gripped from start to finish and I finished it in one sitting going through all the emotions.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DID I JUST READ 😭😂

Straightjacket was disgusting, disturbing, unhinged and somehow had me in my fucking feelings at the SAME TIME. Like excuse me?? I came here to be traumatized not emotionally attacked.

Silas and Iris 🖤 I love these two entirely too much. And THE DOCTOR?! If you thought The Watcher was bad… baby you are not prepared. 🤢

J.N. Bamforth really said “here’s some trauma, some questionable food choices and emotional damage” and I ate it right tf up.

Crawl Space still owns a tiny deranged piece of my soul, but this was one hell of a way to finish their story.

Also… Dolly 🥹🖤

Check your TWs. Or don’t. I clearly make terrible decisions too. 😂
