Did i finish this book within just a few hours after receiving my ARC copy? ofcourse i did! I waited months for this and the second i saw the notification pop up, i started reading.

Was this one of the most sick things i’ve ever read? F*ck yes! And I genuinely mean that as a compliment. Definitely don’t take the trigger warnings lightly (said by someone who doesn’t even read trigger warnings, but i’m warning you nonetheless).

This was so worth the wait and it was an insane conclusion to the story of Silas and Iris.

Daddy Silas will always be one of my most loved MMC forever 🖤

At chapter 10, I thought I knew where this was going and then… Jord did what she usually does and flipped the script!

I was in literal tears at some parts 😭
How the actual F did you make me sob and vomit at the same time, that’s a fu*cking talent that!

I would risk amnesia just to read this duet again from the beginning 🤣 I was crying horrible snotty tears at that ending 😭

JN Bamforth take a bow, the second part of the deadly love duet landed to my inbox today and I rannnnn to download.

This was everything I hoped for and more, we have our couple Iris and Silas and of course our absolutely rank 3rd character the doctor. And what a prick he is!!

I don’t know who my heart broke for more in this book Silas or Iris, reading what they do through was heart wrenching. We meet a new character Dolly aswell that’s as cute as a button. And in true JN Bamforth fashion several foods can never be consumed again.

This duet is a 5 star read for me and anyone that loves erotic horror should run to download and pre-order, I’m so excited for what Jordan brings us next.

I genuinely don’t even know if I’m supposed to find some of this shit funny, but I laughed out louuuuud. WHAT THE HELL did I just read?! 🤣🍦 (in a good way)

I absolutely loved this book. Silas and Iris already had my heart in Crawl Space and after that ending I couldn’t wait to read book 2. This book was once again disturbing, disgusting, and completely unhinged, but it was also absolutely heartbreaking. There were multiple moments where my heart genuinely broke and I found myself in tears. And I will keep saying it (just like in all my other reviews): I LOVE the combination of disturbing and heartbreaking in her books. Somehow she manages to make me laugh one second and emotionally destroy me the next!!

I don’t want to say too much about the actual plot because of spoilers, but I absolutely recommend this duet if you’re looking for a completely unhinged read with DARK humor that also will hit you in your feels. But definitely check the tw and don’t eat while reading. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. 🤣

The Dealy Love Duet did not disappoint. Does J. N. Bamforth ever disappoint? No. The answer is no. Does she give some heavy food aversions, of course. Did I care? Nah. Well... 👀

I cannot give away any spoilers because that was too good to ruin for any reason. But I will say two things; 1. If you thought The Watcher was bad then you aren't ready for The Doctor 🫣🤢 and 2. We get a new friend named Dolly 🩷😁

Also, thank you to the author because I don't think I would've been okay without this follow-up. She mentions that she just wanted to do Silas and Iris right and give the reader what they deserve, you certainly did it. I loved it. I will never stop recommending this duet. Ever. 🖤

I freaking DEVOURED this. Hoooooly freaking trauma, y’all … Please, please read the trigger warnings before going into this one because it is DARK.
And chapter 10… chapter freaking 10 😂 I was sitting there like, “Oh, we’re really doing this?” and I LOVED IT.
This is exactly what I want from pitch-black erotic horror. Messy, disturbing, completely unhinged, and somehow impossible to put down. J.N. absolutely delivered with this one, and I already know I’m going to be thinking about certain scenes for way too long 💀

After reading Crawl Space, Silas and Iris became ride or die for me. Once I picked Straitjacket up, I COULDN’T put it down. I’ve said before that the author is a devil lady and weaves magic, or possibly crack in to her books. This book was no different.

Straightjacket picks up right after the end of Crawl Space. Multiple POVs. If you thought The Watcher was bad then just wait until you meet The Doctor. What a world class bellend. His fixation with Silas is insanity.

There is one particular chapter where you will be like…WTAF am I reading right now? Can I rinse my brain with bleach and put it back? That is NOT a bad thing, to be clear, I like to be pushed to making faces like I’ve just put the sourest sweet in the world in my mouth. If you LOVE clotted cream, vanilla milkshake and strawberry ice cream…you might want to CHECK THOSE WARNINGS.

Anyhoo, that man deserves to burn in the firey pits of hell. He does everything he can to try and break Silas and Iris but I don’t think he accounts for their obsession for each other being much more intense than his obsession with Silas. He sorely underestimates the power of their love. They are end game.

“I might not be the hero in everyone else's story, but I will be in this one. Even if it kills me.”

I was twisting and turning as secrets and truths unfolded. I was cheering on Iris when her darkness appeared almost as a solid entity because she was that much of a badass and no one was going to take her man from her. Jord made my cold dead heart feel things and my eyes even leaked profusely (how very dare you but also a massive HURRAH 👏🏻👏🏻).

“There’s only me who could bring her right to the edge of insanity, and there’s only her who will catch me when I fall right into that insanity with her.”

And…let’s not forget the spice scenes 🫠 take a bow Jord, but seriously, we knew there would be smut but the spice was perfectly woven in to the story and highlighted their love and desperation for each other. It was something they could control when they felt so out of control.

Difficult decisions have to be made and Silas will always put Iris’ life before his own. Will they make it out of Salem Penitentiary alive? You HAVE to read to find out

I didn’t think I could love Silas and Iris more than I did in Crawl Space but wow this book fucking blew it out the water!!!

You see a whole different side to both MC’s in this book and I enjoyed every second of it. Iris absolutely has a vicious bite and I loved seeing that side of her. Her revenge was just what the girl needed.

My heart was fucking breaking for both of them through this whole book but at the same time my ass was on the edge of my seat. There were so many jaw dropping what the fuck moments, right until the very end.

Dolly, I fucking love her already. Her energy is absolutely unhinged and I am here for it. I cannot wait to get her story because I just know that shit is going to be wild.

Our villain though. He fucked in the head, (no pun intended) but I love his crazy.

After being pulled into the story of Silas and Iris in Crawl Space, I was desperate to read the continuation of their story. It simply couldn’t end there.

In Straitjacket, we are taken to Salem Penitentiary, where the evil and twisted Dr Thorne has our Silent Killer and his Little Demon.

Straightjacket continues the same twisted horror, jaw-dropping grossness and thigh-squeezing hotness. Nothing can keep our two lovebirds from their life together… even in death.

I absolutely lapped up the additional chapters, and the insight from Lilian was a gorgeous addition to the story.

J.N. has woven another story that will have you hooked, disgusted, flustered and absolutely heartbroken throughout. Get the tissues ready guys because this one will hit you in the heart.

Mind blowing (quite literally)

Those opening lines at the start made me so curious about how Silas and Iris’s story would actually unfold. And honestly, I couldn’t have predicted the journey they were about to go on.

I honestly wasn’t sure where Silas and Iris’s story was leading to, but this story completely blew my mind. It did NOT disappoint.

Those final chapters had me in a full on chokehold. I was completely consumed by the story, and by the time I reached the end, what an emotional rollercoaster I'd been on.

Also, the warnings should absolutely be taken seriously. The level of detail is INTENSE. Graphic, disturbing and, at times, genuinely stomach turning… which somehow made it even better. If you’re going into this thinking you can handle it, just know J.N Bamforth wasn’t joking with those warnings! Take them seriously.

Oooooookay. First, I’m actually really sad to be leaving Silas and Iris behind.. but I know there won’t be a single day that goes by where I don’t think about this duet.

Second, this book put me through the f**king wringer. I felt all the emotions and went from being disgusted to ugly crying in literal minutes..

I devoured this book, as I knew I would. It delivered the same pitch black, twisted, smutty energy the first book did.. maybe even more so.

While I am happy with how it ended, was it necessary to put me through emotional turmoil to get there?!

Forever grateful for this amazing author and her beautiful (slightly terrifying) mind for this duet, and for allowing me to read it early!

After being recommend Crawl Space by a friend, I couldnt wait for this to come out! And my god it was so worth the wait!! Carrying straight on from them being taken your thrown into the life the Silas had to deal with before he met Iris. The twist I did not see coming and some of the triggers even made me shiver...especially the one with mumma IYKYK...I was ready to throw my kindle across the room but im happy its still intact. Oh and Jordan...please can we get Dolly/Polly book...please.......
