Now that all Asia and her mate have returned to the West Virginia compound, Silas reveals a deadly cancer that has been spreading throughout the country in their absence. Certain full-bloods are rebelling against the inclusion of half-breeds and are killing innocent humans in their quest to destroy the newest citizens. To handle the new threat, Silas Knight, La Patron, creates a new breed of warriors, KnightForce. The hatred and dreadful acts of the rebels’ strikes fear in the heart of every mother whose child is different, and strengthens the conviction of every father to fight to the death to keep his home safe. Jasmine and Silas remain united in their goals to keep all pack members safe and invisible from human eyes.
I live in the southeast and enjoy reading and writing all things paranormal. Nothing is more relaxing than cracking open a new adventure in a new world.
I love paranormal tales and characters in general and shifter stories in particular. Throw in the romantic element, strong Alpha characters who bend beneath the power of love and I’m over the moon. Sighs…
Book 1 gets off to a good start. Good to see that Silas has pulled his incredible family together and continues to learn more and more about the importance of family. I love the road Jasmine has him on. KnightForce has their hands full and Book 1 ends with Angus mad as heck and traveling on a mission of vengeance. I'm ready for Book 2. The federal government has been weaved in with a bigger role that is yet to be determined who's side they are really on. The breeders are surfacing again and the mix is intense! Love it!!
This is the next series involving La Patron. It's not necessary to read the previous books but it will give you a better understanding of the dynamics between pack members.
After finally getting the Liege on the run, Silas and Jasmine think they have a short respite from drama and mayhem but it's not to be. The rebels in the Wolf Nation are stepping up their campaign against the Half Breeds so Silas creates KnightForce. Their aim is to deal with anything that the State Alphas and their security teams can't handle.
Angus, Asia and Tyrese are on a mission and the plan is to capture one of the rebels alive so that Angus can use his chameleon bracelet to take on the appearance and memories of him. Once achieved, Angus will infiltrate the rebel gang to glean further information. Everything goes according to plan and Angus takes wolf form to await further rebels to 'save' him. Unfortunately, it's not the rebels that find him but two humans who have ulterior motives. They use a tranquiliser on him that's strong enough to knock him out and while unconscious, they take his blood. Meanwhile, a bombing alerts them to the existence of a new player in the game. The bombing kills humans and wolves alike and Tyrese, Danielle and Asia are sent to investigate and to keep intervention by any human authorities to a minimum.
The suspense in this book is just as good, if not better, than the author gave us in the previous books. I get the feeling that I'm going to be just as addicted to this series as I was the previous two.
You can't help falling in love with La Patron Jasmine and their family. This author seems to have an insight into the life's of these strong loving characters. She has brought to life these wolf's and half breeds, along with breeders. You can learn what that means when you start the series and trust me when you start your gonna be happy! Start at the beginning of the series and get to know about this family and what each and every one of them has been through. This is in the top 5 of my all time favorite series! Very good writing and choice of characters. Strong men and even stronger women! Now on to the next book!!! Love this one...go get started with this series you'll be a happy reader...and sign up for her newsletter.
This is a nice read that picks up from the La Patron series. I am so loving this book. I love the way Sydney Addae writes the action scenes all the way down to the love scenes. I think anyone who is into reading paranormal stories will definitely love this book read. I would suggest reading the La Patron series first, tho. I will recommend this book to others.
This is fast paced and never slows down. A great beginning for another series. Have already bought the second book. The author really laid the ground work for what this series will be about. Thanks again for another great read. BEL51
This was a little tougher for me to read for some reason. Don't know why. But I enjoy the family and how everyone works to protect the pack in their own way.
KnightForce is trying to assist La Patron in weeding out the rebels and infiltrating the government to help the outcomes of suspicious incidents. This is an entertaining addition to the series.
I have to say, I can't get enough of this series, I'm oh so glad, I took a chance on the first book, from the first book to this one, I haven't been disappointed!
La Patron does all he can to make sure his pack is safe from all assault. Angus has been kidnapped but I find his recovery anti climatic. I was expecting something big to happen. This book kind of ends in a cliffhanger leaving a lot unresolved that I would assume will be in the future books of the Knightforce series.
I'm new to the shifter/ paranormal genre which is not my normal read but I find Sydney's imagination and creativity for the La Patron Wolf Nation to be very interesting and captivating.
