Fix Your Crown Young Girl
I wasn’t supposed to make it this far.
My childhood was filled with experiences that no child should ever have to carry. Trauma became a part of my story before I was old enough to understand what it meant. As I grew older, the pain followed me, and I became a teenager who was angry, reckless, wild, and searching for a way to escape everything I had been through.
I made mistakes. I made choices that hurt me. I pushed people away. I lost myself in the process of trying to survive.
But somewhere beneath all the chaos was a girl who was still fighting to be heard.
This is the story of how that girl became a woman.
My journey took me through places I never imagined I would go. I had to face the parts of myself I tried so hard to run from and learn that surviving my past was only the beginning. Healing meant confronting the pain, forgiving myself for the things I didn’t know how to handle, and learning that my trauma did not have the final say in who I would become.
Then I became a mother.
Becoming a mother made me look at my life differently. I realized I wasn't just fighting for myself anymore. I was fighting to break cycles, to heal wounds that had been passed down, and to give my child the love, safety, and strength I had once needed myself.
This book is not a story about a perfect life.
It is a story about a girl who was hurt, a teenager who lost her way, a woman who found her strength, and a mother who decided that her past would not determine her future.
These are the parts of my life I once struggled to talk about.
This is the pain I survived.
This is the woman I became.
And this is my story.
