Pen and Grandma are excited about an estate sale at the manor house, as is the whole village. Victor has been asking questions about Beatrice, the deceased owner of the manor, and some are finding him suspicious. He’s not interested in the valuable items, but seems to be looking for hidden compartments in items. When he is found murdered in his room at the B&B, Caleb brings Pen with him to aid in the investigation. The motive doesn’t seem to be robbery, so what was the murderer looking for?
The mystery is full of suspects, but Pen and Caleb (with Teo, Pen’s little dog) workmeticulously through the clues and alibis and track down the culprit. The story is quiet and the relationships are warm and real.
Thanks to Tessa Aura for the ARC.

Another adventure for Penelope Sinclair and Grandma Joyce and Teo, of course!
A house that has been sitting for five years after the owner passes away, is going an estate sale. Penelope is their for the inventory and Grandma Joyce is their for the kitchen, and she plan on buying!
Two buyers have a heated argument over the desk of the lady. One wants it in a museum like and the other, Victor, just wanted it, not sure why at first.
When Victor is found dead at the Inn and his room has been ransacked. It looked like a robbery gone bad.
However, the jewelry, his wallet and other valuable items were still there.
Was it a robbery or just made to look like one?
Follow along with Penelope, Caleb, Grandma Joyce and Teo as they go back over Victor's steps before his last breath.

The whole town of Bath is ecited. There is going to be an estate sale at the Endicott house. The house has been empty for years since Beatrice has died, and everyone is curious as to what "treasures" the house holds. Victor arrives in town early asking questions about Beatrice. He speaks to family members, goes to the historical society and visits Maisies to talk. The day the sale starts there's a long line out front. Penelopes grandma goes right to the kitchen and grabs a recipe box, while Penelope looks for items she can sell in her store. Victor buys a jewelry box and later a desk. But just hours later he's found dead in his room at the Inn and Penelope and Caleb, a police officer, begin to investigate why he was murdered and who did it.
I really enjoyed this mystery.

A stranger arrives in town for an estate sale. The house of Beatrice Endecott, after just standing there for five years, people are eager to get inside and see what is for sale. Victor Harlan is a polite, well dressed man who seems to be visiting the town records office and several establishments in town. His questions are only about Beatrice, and at the sale his questions were not about cost, but only is the item was Beatrice's, personally. There is a desk that he wants to purchase, but Simon Graves wants it as well for the historical society. Victor winds up murdered the day after the desk purchase. Now Detective Caleb, Penelope and Teo are on the case. I enjoy these books, every one. Teo is a small clue finding machine.

Penelope, Grandma, Caleb, and the ever hungry Teo are in fine form in this excellent mystery! I love grandma's wit, wisdom, and her opinionated self! Just a touch of what might become romance is a perfect atmosphere between Caleb and Penelope. As for the mystery.....excellent...... I kept telling the charachters where to look but they didn't! Haha! That's how much the story pulls in the reader! The conclusion was a surprise because I'd forgotten all about someone! A truly well crafted yarn! Looking forward to trying the recipe included ~ that's a thoughtful touch from Grandma 👵🏻‼️

This has quickly become one of my favorite cozy mystery series, and I never want to miss a new installment! Signed, Sealed, Missing was another fun, easy read with an engaging mystery, charming characters, and just the right amount of intrigue. It kept me entertained from start to finish and was exactly the kind of cozy mystery I enjoy. Truly enjoyed this one and can’t wait for the next book in the series!

ARC review: They need to listen to the dog, he knows.
Fast-paced, easy to read, hard to solve.
You might want to keep track of the clues.
Running a business and solving mysteries isn't easy.
