A great, smutty, insta-love novella. Kayla is the maid of honor at her best friend, Becca's, wedding in the south of Spain. Victor is Becca's father, who footed the whole bill - including the airfare and hotel for all. Though they've known of each other, Victor and Kayla have never met. The minute he sees her, Victor is drawn to Kayla, thinking she's "distractingly attractive." And Victor does his best to avoid dwelling on Kayla and his thoughts of Kayla. All to no avail. When Kayla hurts her knee, Victor, with his medical background, patches her up, and in that closeness, Kayla is also attracted to Victor. This kicks off Victor and Kayla's story. There's attempts at restraint, as well as sneaking off together. As you would expect with a "father with daughter's best friend" scenario, concerns for socially inappropriate-ness ("what will ppl think"), until their true feelings can overcome their thoughts. A great, smutty read, with open doors and consentual breeding. If you like this genre, you'll really enjoy this book.

If you are looking for a quick and sweet romance read, this short story is absolutely perfect for you. It features a staggering 32-year age gap that adds a thrilling dynamic to the plot. The narrative centers around an irresistible hot smutty romance between a young bridesmaid and the handsome father of the bride. What makes this book so refreshing is its completely stress-free environment. There is no unnecessary drama, zero toxicity, and absolutely no villains to ruin the cozy mood. It is just pure, unadulterated steamy romance that wraps up wonderfully with a very satisfying and beautiful happy ending.

I had to create an account with Booksprout to read this for free, and it was worth it. This was another impressive read, with at least two errors that are easily fixable. R.L. Rochester is one of the most talented authors I’ve added to my list of favorite authors here that I follow. I hope there’s a sequel to this story where Kayla and Victor find out what they’re having. Maybe at the hospital or at their house. And will his daughter/her best friend find out that they’re together, too? These questions beg to be answered!

3.5 stars. This short story is dual POV, well written, and a fast-paced, surprise attraction, age gap, best friend’s father, contemporary romantic erotica between Kayla, the female lead, and Victor, the wealthy male lead. I enjoyed Kayla’s openness to new experience and her enthusiasm for Victor’s suggestions. I enjoyed Victor’s grudging acceptance of their mutual desires and his determination to provide Kayla with experience and support. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes and spicy happy ending.

Kayla’s best friend was getting married. Kayla was happy for her especially since it was a destination wedding in Spain and her friend’s father was footing the bill. Victor the father of the bride was a wealthy older man, single, in great shape and very handsome. When these two met sparks flew, the attraction was immediate. However, things started to heat up when Kayla fell and hurt her knee and Victor cleaned and bandaged it for her. This fast paced novella has breeding as well as lactation kink. It’s a cute story of an older man falling for his daughter’s best friend.

This is a short and steamy read. Victor is the father of the bride and one of his daughter's attendents captures his attention. He knows he is too old for her but cannot stay away. Kayla thought this was a summer fling until Victor keeps coming back for more. There is not a lot of plot, more steamy scenes.

Victor has his eyes set on Kayla but she's way too young so he would never but when she approaches, him everything changes. Their extra spicy tale showcases a sweet younger inexperienced FMC and an older MMC who tries to do the right thing but in her eyes the right thing is standing by her side.
