This book was so freaking delicious!! The drama 🎭 was top notch 🍿 I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and I’m hoping it’s Chase’s! That burn at the end of the book had me gagging 🤭😂🤣
I was whooping and hollering when their relationship was revealed, because of course with a son’s best friend trope there is going to be drama when everyone else finds out and this book certainly didn’t disappoint! 🍿😂👩🏻🍳💋🤌🏼
Her ex husband/Chase’s dad is a dick and thoroughly deserves the beating he receives. He tries to weasel his way back into her life right as she was starting to actually catch feelings for Colby! The timing couldn’t be worse! Don’t even get me started on the spice I was on fire just reading 🔥🔥😮💨 Colby falls first and had been crushing on Momma M for a while. The mutual pinning and trying to resist each other was pure gold! 🫠

Ok so I’ve come to the realisation that Eleanor cannot write something that I won’t end up loving, the gift you have in these creative worlds is incredible, and you have yet again created another amazing book and characters, not that I ever doubted this for a second🖤
If anyone knows how to write spicy hot scenes and create the best characters it’s Eleanor! Every book without fail, another one to add to the collection🖤
I’m not just saying this because Eleanor is one of my all time favourite authors, but considering this book wasn’t as dark as your others you still had me hook line and sinker! The way you can write the most spicy descriptive scenes is amazing, but also the emotional depth you can write with such amazing characters and the storylines is second to none. You can quite literally do it all, and I’m so honoured to have read this for you🖤
I am a sucker for an age gap and if that is your vibe you definitely need to get this added to your TBR😮💨 We have spice along with a good story my favourite type of reading. There were moments where one minute I was getting all hot and flustered🤭 and then the next really feeling for the characters and what they go through, it is full of emotion in all aspects. It has forbidden moments, sexual tension and the vibes it’s so wrong but so good ..my favourite kind😉
We have our FMC Faith who is an older woman recently divorced, and is rebuilding her life and starting over. She has her priorities in order, and is Mum to Chase. She was giving slight Regina George mum vibes the cool fun mum that everyone loves😂 She always has Chase and his friends over for celebrations or post game relaxations, and this is where we get our first meet with her and MMC Colby. He has his eyes set on her and let’s just say he goes after what he wants🖤
Colby our MMC can I just start off by saying what a sexy vibe this boy gives off, don’t let his age fool you because trust me when I say he knows how to treat a woman🔥 He’s the dominant type that doesn’t need to be told what to do, but he is so loyally protective. I loved that one minute he could make me a sweating mess, and then the next he was pulling on my heart strings🖤
Faith’s past catches up with her just when she thought she was rid of it, and is putting her relationships in jeopardy with her son and Colby. Things left unsaid can make things complicated but when you’re backed into a corner what do you do to make sure the ones you love are safe..

We have an age gap where the woman is older, we have sports andddd a book that is way out of my usual genre! Its not something I would have picked up BUT Eleanor I trust you 100% and applied to arc read this because I miss nothing you release! Honestly I am blown away with how much I enjoyed this! Am I in love with these Rugby boys.. yes, do I love Faith.. yes, Am I loving a sons best friend trope... oh my god yes I am! Roll on book 2!!

Well this was a spicy little number I had a naughty smile on my face reading this rugby 🏉 Mum Faith falls for her son Chase best friend Colby. This was funny spicy and had lots of heartfelt moments oh and throw in a nasty ex husband and it’s there. Another great read from Eleanor!

The last thing Faith expects to happen as she is rebuilding her life is to fall for her son's best friend and the kicker being he feels the same way about her. They shouldn't be doing this behind peoples backs but the pull is too strong, he makes her feel desired and sexy and its intoxicating. Now if only her ex husband could just stop being so manipulative and toxic her life would be easier.
This read was refreshing, fun, spicy as hell with a storyline that had me rooting for them from the beginning and disliking other characters.
From dealing with keeping secrets from not only the man she is sleeping with but also protecting her son from his own father, Faith is dealing with a lot.
The pacing, the tension between characters and the spice is perfect.
Favourite line
"Respectfully, Ms M, I was taught to finish my meals."
I can't wait to see what thee characters get up to in the rest of the series.
